You can nominate your own work or yourself if you wish.

Period eligeble for nominations is Jan, 1st 2008 until Dec, 31 2008. Any image, story or members that joined during that period (speaking of best new artist) is eligible for the nominations.
The nominations period will end on March, 8th 2009, then a secret panel of judges will choose the ones to go to the final voting by the members, so when You made your nominations, also try to convince them why your nominees should win.
When the judges make their selections among the nominees posted here, I will post the thumbs with a link for their selections here in this thread and will start a poll for all members to decide the winners.

It is my understanding that before the nominations go to a poll the people running the awards this year will check all the pictures nominated for eligibility and remove those that are not eligible. and depending on the nominations they will reduce them to bite sized portions.

I was gonna update my post with the categories I left out, but it seems they've been covered. I agree with Winterhawk, if I didn't comment on a category, it's 'cuz nothing I could say would add to what's been said.

P.S. - I also recommend OCP's entire "World History" series for something...just for the originality and informative exposure nature of the work. Ya just might learn sumthin'.
