So this ladies and gentlemen is the concept Warp Ship from NASA and incidentally the inspiration for the Warp Ring Design on my ships. I thought you'd like to know where I get my ideas from and that sometimes (more often than not) they are based in actual science. This is the ISX Enterprise for those of you not in the know (look who I'm tellin) and getting this model was the highlight of my month. Of course that's the SS Lillun in the background.

 Re: Today's Science Fiction
It is a model commissioned by NASA for the real life honest to god Warp Program...yeah we're living in Star Trek Enterprise times the ship is called the Enterprise BTW. They most likely won't build it but this is a great starting point. The Warp Program is still in it's experimental stage and a manned ship is still Years away but it's finally here.

 Re: Today's Science Fiction
I saw this same ship as a modern day coming of age warp ship being developed? I think!
