This is my own version of the biblical hero, St. Michael the Archangel. I use each of the trio of archangels - Micheal, Gabriel, and Raphael in my comics from time to time as characters.

It's cool; I have no problem with religious characters or with religious themes. I'm atheist, but I'm not anti-religion or any such silly thing. What people believe is their business, not mine. (I suspect we see eye to eye here, albeit obviously from radically different perspectives. ) It's just that when it comes to concepts directly taken from existing belief systems, I prefer not to comment, both because I'm no expert and because I don't want to accidentally offend.

I do think that using elements of Judeo-Christian mythology in your fiction is absolutely fair game, given the number of Norse/Greek/etc gods running around the DC and Marvel Universes. Creators' beliefs always influence their work, inevitably. It's actually pretty refreshing to see them presented quite straightforwardly with none of the postmodern elements that seem to dominate modern media depictions of angels. And I absolutely agree that they fit well into your universe.

So there y'go, you got a comment anyway.

No problem B, I understand completely since you're not a religious guy these wouldn't be your cup o' tea. Like I said in my reply to "Reverend Blunderbuss" though, by just having religious characters they can't help being what they are, and even though by just having them I'm putting a bit of my own faith into my work. But that doesn't mean that I get all in your face and preachy with them because I do realize that people have different views and I respect that. Plus, I do have other characters of other beliefs just like in real life, but I don't like to dwell on those aspects of my characters too much. However, since I do utilize evil demonic characters in my comics, up to and including
Satan himself,I can't very well have those without having some angels as well. And, while I do have some that I've made up, I thought why not have some actual historical ones as well. Yet,it was hard to create any kind of real bios for them, and I did do my research, so I just kind of left them short and simple based on what little biblical and other religious historical information there is for them. Anyway, I thank-you for at least appreciating Michael's design and pose, since if nothing else he is the quintessential heroic archetype and I think that I captured that well.

Not gonna comment too much on these three, but I do like the design, pose and facial expression on this one.
