Captain Skullheart's Crew 3 of 7: Pyra St. Croix.
Pyra is a former villainess turned heroine who now serves with Capt. Skullheart and her band of merry maidens. She is also the first character that I have released which introduces my own take on "people born with super-powers" which I like to call "Z-Factor Innates." [In my comics universe, "mutants" are more like the TMNT kind, where they are people or animals who were changed into a more powerful form via some kind of transformation. Metas would be be more like those who acquired powers by any other means other than via mutation, so I needed something different for the "just born with it" types and just went with the "X-Men" thing but changed the letter.]

 Re: Pyra St. Croix
I had a lot of fun with these characters, because more than any others that I've done so far I was able to really get into telling more about my comics universe as a whole in relation to some characters and concepts that I've shown before and some that haven't been revealed yet, but will be expanded upon later with more profiles and future comics.

I'm sure changing the letter will stop anyone from noticing the similarity to the X-Men. Not that Marvel have a monopoly on the idea of genetic mutation, of course! I like this one too. You always have really strong character concepts. I love the idea of the reluctant metahuman. Good motivation for her backstory heel-face turn too.
