The pose is dynamic and cool! One thing you can play with next time is with focused light sources. Like how would a light source from the top or from the left effect how the shadows fall.

Yeah..design, pose, charater.. Its all there. I would still like to see you try a little more perspective in the lineart poses... and some lineart background? have we seen any sunsets, forests or cityscapes from you yet?

I like the design, but would like to see more of a contrast betwen the light and dark with the pencils. I see the jacket as an integeral part of the costume, more of a functional use to keep his powers in check so he does not over use them and become unstable with his molecular speeds, becoming something like Flash in Kingdom come or superman when he was all energy and could nto hold on to anything with out phasing through it.

I like your work Thayne. You have a very non crappy Liefeld look to your art, and I mean that in the best way. You lean more toward Portacio and Lee than Liefeld, but it still has that Liefeld look and feel for some reason, and not the crap look his later work got...lol...

I think the only thing you could really do is loosen up a bit maybe and stop trying so hard. It looks like your lines are stilted and practiced instead of flowing freely. I'm not trying to knock you or anything, not in the least, just from one artist to another man, it looks like maybe this isn't your natural style, but one you've tried to adapt to because it's what you like, and that's why it comes across as too stiff maybe? I dunno...

Like I said, it looks great, but a little too, what's the words I'm looking for....preplanned maybe? I dunno...hey I'm just some idiot.

I really like this character especially the design [although I think in actual workings an open jacket would prove cumbersome for a guy with superspeed]. I really think its one of your better ones.
