Tribute piece. Yeah, I know it would've been a better fit to use Batman and the Wayne Family gravestone, but I wanted to do an Al/Wanda piece.

Bad girl bodyguard for bad guy bosses... like coward Max Indeks looking pervy behind her |

| Kitten finister 2009/3/23 7:50 3189 3
Kitten is Pink Pussycat's sidekick. This is like my 47th version of her... finally a keeper I think. I wanted her to be young but not too young. I also wanted her to have attitude but not be too serious. Behind the mask, you can't tell so well, but her face morph looks like a young Brittany Andrews ( for any Jay Edwards fans out there - heh heh ).
For Poser users: The cool body suit is by Yanelis. I used SVDL's python script to save V4 Kitten as a full body morph. Then I used D3D's Clothing Morph utility to add Kitten's fbm to the yanelis suit. Beforehand I chopped all unneeded morphs out of everything. She's around 25 megs here. I love that DAZ made V4.2 injectable. |

| The Spirit pijon 2009/2/24 22:22 2627 6
File this under "Why I like the merged galleries better" dept: This way I don't have to think to hard about where to place a bastard child of 2D and 3D like this one! Anyway, background's pure 3D built in Bryce and the characters are first drawn in 2D then converted to 3D in Bryce and Daz. A tribute to Will Eisner... he was the man! and Spirit was one of the best comics ever. |

I've been working on this helmet for the past 3 weeks, its for the same guy that I painted the Thundercats motorcyle for... apparently, this helmet is for his girlfriend. The colors are a bit dull, since I just finished the paint tonight and will clearcoat it later. BTW, this is the front... I also opted NOT to add in her braclets... this one as already a pain in th arse. |

Mr. Monster and his sexy and smart assistant, Kelly Friday doing what they do best. I always loved Michael T. Gilbert's over the top artist owned superhero. He probably set some kind of record after having this character published under at least 6 different companies (that I know of)! |

i really did have a lot of words to explain why you should read this wonderfully kookie series by adam warren, but then i realized....
who needs words when ya got pictures?
enjoy, and all characters are (C) to Adam Warren.
(and yes, i did this in 08, but forgot to post it until now, so the o8 tag still stands.) |

| Killjoy pijon 2008/11/24 17:44 3106 8
Okay, guess I'm really plumbing the depths of obscurity this time! Google "Ditko Killjoy" and you might even find online reprints of Killjoy's two appearances as a backup feature in Charlton's E-Man. It is Steve Ditko at his most irreverent and at his silliest. Anyway I realized hadn't really done a decent Ditko tribute piece so I thought I'd attempt one with Killjoy attempting to land a shot on the very slippery S.S.S. Snake. |

| HM Back Issues 7 co_04 2008/11/16 8:32 3589 11
Another find from the archives. Heromorph's premier horror comic from the 1970's, recently found on Ebay.
I've always been a big fan of Berni (or Bernie) Wrightson's brush style, so I thought I'd take a break from the super heroines and start brushing. We seem to have a dearth of horror comics around here, sooo...
The masthead was all hand lettered. The style, the coloring, and the graphics are a throwback to the era of DC's flagship horror comic "The House of Mystery", from the '70's. http://www.coverbrowser.com/covers/house-of-mystery/5 . Judging by this cover, HM wasn't shelling out much money for writers at the time.
This piece is dedicated to Mr. OCP, and his former management at the hostel pension. |
