I saw this pic and in that moment I knew who the characters were going to be.
This pic has a LOT of layers (first time I used 400 megas for this kind of project), I really was impressed with the results in wonder girls jeans and her boots, the texture looks real good.
I did wonder girl's logo with a metalic effect, I tried using the metalic tutorial, but it didn't work for me, so I played with the dodge & burn and the smudge tool. Raven was easy compare to wonder girl except for the cape, the original pic had a fur coat around wonder girl's right arm, so I have to hide it, and the cape was the "easy" thing to do.
I'm not going to tell more details because it would be too long, so enjoy!

Hello, heromorphers. This is my first post.
Catherine Bell is really fantastic but I frankly do not see her as Wonder Woman. Well... this is not a forum so let me focus in the photomanipulation. This was made for a competition that I won in a bizarre way (nobody else had participated) in http://users3.ev1.net/%7Edukeofdeception/ and based on a Stuff magazine cover.
By the way: I did not see a single prize OR an email from this duke of the deception, a disillusionment in the straight use of the word. |

_A lot_ more effort went into this one. The bowler, the cane, the effin' front window - took most of the weekend. I'm tempted to post the base just so you can see the work involved. maybe some day I'll add the henchmen outfits. I also thought a Bat Signal viewed through the windshield might be cool...

With the possible exception of Hawkman and Hawkgirl/woman, I can't think of another character with a more confusing or convoluted continuity than Power Girl. Originally from Earth-2 retconned to an Atlantean (after COIE) then back to Earth-2 (Infiite Crisis)poor Kara must need one hell of a therapist.
She is now chairperson of the JSA (New Earth)and doing what she does best, kicking butt.
I have followed her adventures for years: Old JSA runs, Infinity Inc. etc.; and have wanted to do a manip of her since I started this lunacy.
NOTES: I went with the PG as envisioned by Alex Ross in Kingdom Come, more muscular and harder features. The uniform is a series of layers using a desaturated portion of the models body to heighten detail over the white uniform. The background is Frankensteined from NASA photos and of course Christopher Reeve plays the roles of Earth-1's and Earth-2's Supermen.

This image was done a few years ago for a theme day at C2f. B was worried because they didn't have very many submissions for the Cheesecake theme day, so he asked a bunch of people here is we had anything to post for it as the images were going to be released in a few hours and he didn't have much. I made this very very quickly and submitted it and about 5 or 6 other images I hadn't posted at C2f at the time.
I was looking at some of my stuff and noticed I never posted it here.
So here, two years late and a very short skirt. |

| Still getting better. this one took forever to complete. (About 16 hours.) Tried alot of new stuff with photoshop's tools this time, tring to figure out what they do. Liquify is pretty cool. Anyway this is my third manip in three days and the main challenge on this one was the gloves and the hair. the dam hair just kept getting in the way, it drove me crazy. i think i will take a short break after this one. Hope you all enjoy it. |

| I have been browsing around and still getting to visit the site here or there. But because of getting so slammed with work I haven?t really had time to do anything, between software, and upgrades to web development. So I know I haven?t posted in a while. But since things are kind of slowing down now, figured I?d get started back into things here, and brushing up. So I started with something familiar, Supergirl. I don?t think it turned out too bad, I used the new 52 version. With the exception of the yellow on the cape, I don?t really like the yellow there, so I left it off. For now having done anything for a while I don?t think that it really came out too bad here. Did make some mistakes while working on things, but sure it will get better. And I will try to continue to post more often. Thanks for those who look or comment, greatly appreciated. The model is Photodromm?s Orsi. Of course Supergirl belongs to DC Comics. Artwork is from me. |

This is kind of a special manip for me in a couple of ways. Artistically, it has the most detail work I've ever tried to put into a piece. And as a comic fan, because it's a tribute to the first comic I ever read, an issue of Superboy starring the Legion of Super-Heroes.

My extremely late entry to the May Challenge, Bad Superhero Day Jobs. (Well, in this case, Night Job.) After a PC Kablooey, and The Adventures Of Sinbad getting a new PC set up, and then refilled with backed-up data, I finally got to finish this.
Kinda sucks I missed the Challenge, but the dollar bill idea happened at the very end, which is good. I especially like the US/Dollar connections, she's wearing red, white and blue, the green of the dollar bills is reflected in the floor, and if you squint, the dollar bills are a stream...
(BTW, if Wonder Woman is going to be bad, she's going to be Wonder Bad. So she's going to strip at an Evil Villians strip joint. Which explains the counterfeit bills...)
(BTW2, The earring is an actual earring on the Net, you could buy it if you found it.)
(BTW3, the model is Laura Sanchez.)

| Here is a slightly different version of the supergirl. Going with more realistic in the clouds and all. Everything except the model is digital in PSCS, yep even the clouds.
