I have been working on this on and off here or there for the last 4 months. My wife likes fairies and has been up my @ss about doing comic stuff and wanted one. So I finally put the finishing touches on it so she'll shut up. Don't really know where it applies here. But I thought I would share with you all since it was a manip. Painted the hair, at least I have gotten use with that as practice on this. Clothes, Wings, yadda yadda. Take a look comments of course for any improvement are always welcomed. Thanks guys...  |

This has got to be my FAVORITE Manip i have done in awhile. I did this one the other week.. and I love it. Its for a friends LKH char, of the tiger flavor. I love it so much more then the leopard or wolf one.. because the tigers face has a different color and patterns to it then the rest of the body. So to get it to look some what.. decent you had to hunt for that picture of a tigers face.. and blend it just so. All in all im proud of this one.  |

I made this image to an orkut(the friends spaceon the internet) challenge.
We got some images, and then make the head function, to work if then all.
I got an ideia to make an guy with some motorcycle pieces, and make its enemy as well, and put on him the lizard head from one of the images and th....well I made all the rest with the remain images.
Now I made an up on it!

The great mother goddess Mawu, fell asleep after giving birth to the African continent. She left it a land of plenty and peace.
Her sleep was disturbed thousands of years later by the cries of her beloved creation. Poverty, war, and famine had despoiled her daughter, Africa.
The mother goddess searched across the continent and found her heroine. In a remote village of the Congo she saw a young girl maimed by war, dying of famine, and beset by poverty, her name was Bunme. The goddess took the dying breath of the girl, blessed it and returned it to Bunme.
The girl was transformed into Adaeze Adero, The Princes Who Brings Life.
When the changed girl asked what the goddess wanted of her Mawu replied, "You are to travel, my daughter, to the far corners of my creation. Each step you take shall bring life to the desert, peace out of war, and justice to my starving and war torn people.
Notes: After going through a lot of model I came across this majestic beauty. From my understanding, she has since left modeling. For the costume, I went with a traditional hide texture warped and shaped to the model's form. The other elements were from online African museums and artisans. The blade she carries is a Ngombe throwing knife.

Born to a poor family in the Yucatan, Margarita Colon ran away at fourteen to find fame in the United States. Abandoning her heritage she changed her named to Margret Collins and embarked on an acting and modeling career. By nineteen, she was an international superstar, but always hiding the truth of her heritage.
As fate would have it, a leading Mexican fashion designer, Diego Reyes, invited Margaret to do a photo shoot and fashion show at an exclusive resort in the Yucatan. Reluctantly she went.
After a wild party in her penthouse suite, Margaret completely drunk and under the effect of several drugs. Fell onto her bed. She felt a tightening in her left arm and her heat began to race. She felt her throat constrict and her breathing became forced. Even in her stupor Margaret knew this might be the end.
The door of her room opened. An ancient looking cleaning woman entered and stared at the starlet on the bed. The old woman asked, "Who are you?"
Margaret could only choke and try to whisper "Help". The old woman laughed and repeated her question. Margaret found that this time she could talk, she replied that she was a famous actress and that her name was Margaret Collins.
The goddess laughed, called Margaret a liar, and repeated her question.
Margaret feeling the heart spasms returning, cried out in desperation, "I am Margarita Colon, a daughter of poor Yucatan farmers! "
The crone nodded, waved her arms and Margarita was saved. The old crone revealed herself to be the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue.
The goddess cradled Margaret's head to her bosom and said," That lie is finished now my precious flower,you have come home and you are now my warrior. You are Quetzalxochitl Yoatl, Precious Flower Warrior.

A bigger version of the picture on the front page. The boys thought they would throw me a little surprise birthday party. It didn't start out so well, as Matrixblur was put in charge of catering(he somehow thought Winterhawk said 'gator-ing', and filled the pool with live crocodiles), and Jr McDeath was put in charge of booze(he showed up with a box full of empty bottles and a very drunk sheep). Not surprisingly, Daruma was blamed for the whole thing. But 'Hawk managed to save the day, getting us food and liquor at the last minute, and we still had a pretty good time. There was a bit of a scare when chillyplasma, who showed up late and missed the warning about the crocodiles, jumped into the pool. But after wrestling three of the beasts into submission, the crocs recognized him as the alpha male and just stayed out of his way. It was a hell of a party.
Big thanks to Android for taking this picture,. It's one of the few memories I have of the night.  |
