| Superwoman vs Ultraman VagabondX 2007/10/25 20:44 3322 5
Back around 1980, DC introduced a character called Superwoman who was a time traveler from the future. She was, I think, a history professor or something who came back in time to find out about a mysterious 'Superwoman' who showed up at that time to help Superman. Surprise, surprise, she finds out that the mysterious is none other than...herself. She was probably a casualty of the Crisis but if nothing else, she at least had a cool outfit. I wanted to do a pic of her so I have her walloping the evil Superman doppelganger from Earth....1 or 2 or whatever he's from called Ultraman. |

Some character sketches. I may redraw them, full body -- they're a small section of a sketch page, so I didn't have enough room to do their legs. |

I don't usually do this but I thought I'd try coloring someone else's art. It was just pencils no inks, so I decided to go for a painted look. Original line art by Ed Benes. |

| Superman vs Zion Prime DAGhoul 2008/4/12 14:20 2364 4
Zion Prime is my original character and has been for several years. It took me 6 years to develop this guy and I'm proud of him. (You can find him in MySpace under the name of Zion Prime.) But, anyway, back to the point, Superman decided he needed to come to Chicago (my home town). And I had to show him what I think of aliens and of people trying to help clean up my city. |

| Superman in the evening.. Guest 2005/9/3 22:11 2708 5
I had this art lying around on my computer for a long time and it was black and white originally too i cannot remember where i got it from but i think it's one of Paul Cameron's work but here's the detail.. i did this with photoshop also and did some burns on it,colored it. and added much real effect color on the moon, hence a calm evening with Superman by a big full moon, i'm currently doing an rain version where the rain pulls where his cape flows.. still tweaking a few things.. i need to find my own art but i think my roomie has a scanner i can borrow :) hope u like my work..art credits go to Paul Cameron, colored and everything is by me.. |

| Superman in Flight Orlock 2005/5/20 17:14 2924 5
I drew this in my sketch book with pencil, then scanned it into Adobe PS 7, inked it at 300 DPI with a number 4 hard edged brush. Then I colored it and kablooey, here he is. I was kind of going for a cross between the animated style and the comic style and got the idea for the pose from a small comic panel I found online. Feedback please? |

| Superman cover VagabondX 2008/7/6 19:07 2626 4
This is a cover I was working on for two local writers who wanted to submit a story idea to DC. The primary guy I corresponded with said he liked it and he would show it to his partner but that was a couple weeks ago so I'm assuming his partner didn't have any problems with it. I emailed them to ask if it was ok to post it here but I haven't gotten a response in about a week and a half so I'm just going to post it. I don't think anyone can steal their idea from this pic. I doubt there is enough info on the story in this image. They had planned on getting the story to DC in a couple weeks so I'm guessing its already been done. I think this turned out ok. I don't believe DC will be impressed with it in the least but I'm not totally displeased with it. I just got the logo and upc from another Superman cover. |

| SUPERMAN & SUPERGIRL VS. KRYPTONITE GIRL! JinkyCoronado 2009/10/30 17:01 12526 7
Finally: Here's the full-color version of my drawing of Superman and Supergirl being terrorized by Kryptonite Girl. Color is courtesy of Katrina Mae Hao.
As I mentioned when I posted the line art version some time ago, this is based on a 3D illustration posted by someone else. I wanted to add some motion and energy to the concept, and shake off the stiffness inherent in Poser-type illustrations, and see if I could make it work.
This is the first time I've ever drawn Superman -- or Supergirl, for that matter!
What do you think?
Hugs,

| SUPERMAN & SUPERGIRL by Jinky Coronado JinkyCoronado 2009/10/7 10:57 4907 7
Last month, I saw a wonderful 3D image here on Heromorph, of Superman and Supergirl being defeated by a gorgeous Kryptonite girl.
It really made me wanna try my own version of that same drawing, because I really haven't drawn that many mainstream super-heroes.
So, with a thank you and a tip of my non-existent hat to the original artist, here's my version of that scene. (Colorists are welcome!)
Hugs,

Drawn by my brother...Colored by me.
My brother asked me to color a couple of his sketches, it turned out half-decent, so I figured I'd post it. Had to remove a lot of the paper marks, and discoloration from the scan of the drawing, but all in all...not too bad.
