| LynX #1 cover B MF 2016/7/8 17:31 1504 5
A mock-up of the second version of the cover to the first issue of my second comic book series LynX. I think it's just about the perfect combination of sex and violence, don't you? |

| Zapf Dingbat darth_paul 2016/6/21 7:50 1640 4
This guy began life as what was intended to be another alter-ego for my White Bat character from the Super-Mutant Nine. I had a story idea where the generally serious Bat would have an accident where he hit his head or something and he would develop this zany split personality and start dressing like you see above and doing all kinds of crazy things, but still being a hero, just like some of the more goofball heroes out there in comics and cartoons. I also had the idea that he would be eventually cured of his predicament, and go back to being his usual serious self, but every once in a while the personality of Zapf Dingbat would resurface either through another hit on the head or just a really bad headache or whatever. The more that I thought about how good this idea was, though, the more I also thought that it might be even better if I just developed the concept for a completely different character and it could be his mentally unstable brother instead of the White Bat himself, and I created an origin for him where he had a physical deficiency where he could not tolerate the extreme cold of his home planet like others of his kind can, so he camped out in the frigid wilderness to build up his tolerance and while he did succeed, he also came out a bit bonkers from exposure to the cold. Thus, he re-named himself after the popular symbol font and set out to become his own hero just like his older bro. |

| Sand Vulture darth_paul 2016/6/21 7:49 1724 5
Okay, there is a lot to take in with this guy because he originally started out as just a mysterious desert warrior hero with no name and not much to go on as far as a back story goes, so when I was creating this bio for him in order to fix that problem so that I could actually have something to put down, I decided to include some background on several of the government entities of the planets Earth and Earth-II and their relationships to this characters as well as several others that I have introduced into the CSCU. The original planet Earth is governed by the UIE (United Intercontinental Earth), which is sort of like the real world, UN, except that it has more power to actually run things, but the individual countries of the world all still hold their own regional governments in conjunction with this global government which makes it easier for the people of Earth to deal with other worlds and such. This is why I've stated above that my all-female team of alien fighters from Earth, the C.A.R.E.-Givers are a governmental entity of the UIE, or more specifically, an entity of another UIE entity called C.I.T.A.D.E.L. The Combined International Tactical Alignment Defensive Earth League or C.I.T.A.D.E.L. is basically my version of Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D. or DC's A.R.G.U.S. because every comics universe has to have a cool super secret espionage and defense organization with an equally cool acronym for a name! I will have more on C.I.T.A.D.E.L. and its members in later bios. The rest of Sandy's bio above is pretty self-explanatory, he becomes an exchange trooper for the government of the planet Earth-II which is a colony world of the original Earth, hence it's government is called the United Colony of Earth-II, or the UCE, and they of course have Earth-II Defense and the Justice Force as their agencies, which he ultimately becomes a part of after going trough some extreme hardships, loss and an odd mystical journey to become the hero that he is now. I also touched a bit on comparing him to his teammate, Beach Bunny since they have similar skills, but don't really overlap with each other since there are big differences between them even though they have sand in common, being that she is more of their ocean and water expert, although she can back him up if he lets her, since he's a loner, which is another big difference that I touched upon. She spent a lot of time alone in her youth and now that she no longer is wants to be alone as little as possible and relishes being with a team, but Sandy on the other hand, doesn't want to risk losing another team, so would rather keep his distance from others as much as possible, but that doesn't mean that he's going to completely abandon the UCEJF since he still has his honor and loyalty to maintain. |

| Element Girl darth_paul 2016/6/21 7:49 1630 5
Element Girl is my character inspired by DC's Legion of Super-Heroes member Element Lad/Alchemist. Yeah, she's just a female character with his powers and the appropriate feminine name, lol. In order to make her more my own, though, I gave her a more alien look with the golden skin and tiger-like striping, although she is in no way of any kind of feline race or species. There are no hidden cat ears or a tail or anything like that on her, and she is not covered in fur either. She is just a humanoid alien whose race just happens to have that kind of unique skin coloration, and as explained in the bio above, they all have the same golden skin, but their stripes can vary in coloration from individual to individual the same as eye and hair color can in anyone. |

| Metal-Lisa and Metal-Liza darth_paul 2016/6/6 6:57 1578 4
"Metal-Lisa" and "Metal-Liza" are the possible future daughters of "Dr. Phase" and "Metallica" sent through time and space through a faulty trans-dimensional portal while looking for their lost parents only to wind up finding past versions of them and opting to stay with those past versions until they can find the actual future ones that they belong with. I came up with their names as a bit of a pun on their mother's code name when developing them as characters. I guess that I thought that while they inherited the powers of both of their parents, and even borrowed costume elements from both, that they would mostly take after their mom. Good luck telling them apart though, as they are exactly identical, but for the purposes of this bio, I guess you could say that Lisa is on the left and Liza is on the right just as their names are ordered. |
|
| Metallica darth_paul 2016/6/6 6:55 1493 3
No, she is not named for the band, she is named after the simple fact that the Latin word for metal is "Metallica." She is also of the same alien race as my character, "Transforma" of my super-hero team, the "Galactic Police Enforcers." They are not related in any way though. |
|
| Dr. Phase darth_paul 2016/6/6 6:55 1493 3
The situation between "Dr. Phase" and "Metallica" and their time-displaced future daughters, is of course inspired by the convoluted family dynamics of "Cyclops" and "Jean Grey" of the "X-Men." I just thought that I would try my hand at doing something similar with my own characters. |

| Chronicles of Satiel (Untooned) Bersebah 2016/6/5 16:45 1545 1
In the high school I've made a demo game named Chronicles of Satiel. Yeah, I'm graduated as game designer, but I don't work with it yet. Then I not finished this game. But this art make this will burn strong into my veins. Let's see... who know... I can do this now. Better version, untooned, with wings fixed.
Enjoy! |

| Toolz darth_paul 2016/5/31 7:02 1615 0
Toolz rounds out the original trio that I had created many years ago as the first concepts of what has now become the E2DJF. The other two were Jack Rabbit and Grasshopper, with the rest such as Shielda and Beach Bunny, to come much later but to be added into their roles on the team a I saw fit in my behind-the-scenes writings while fleshing them out. As with many of my characters, my ideas for them come from a lot of different influences that I like to throw into a blender and see what mixes. This guy gets the youthful idealism and idolization of his older peers as a hero from the classic teen hero template, the ability to transform his arms into tools from any number of stretchy or mechanized shape-shifters, and lastly his inability to speak in any language but his own, yet be able to be understood by and understand others speaking to him in their language, from how this kind of thing always goes on in the Star Wars Universe with no problems. I usually just write his dialog in English though, but just in brackets, and make a notation somewhere to the side of the comics that it's been translated for the reader, but he really only speaks in his native Zith tongue. Also, the part in the bio above where it says that he is trying to learn how to speak universal English and learn more about human culture, but gets a little confused due to his unfamiliarity and attempts to look cool, should not be taken as me trying to make fun of anyone like that. It's purely, me setting a background for a character. The part about him changing his name from "Tool" to "Toolz" is however, a bit of self-depreciating humor on my part because I did have his name originally be "Tool," and knew that it was a bit unflattering, but I had always wanted the character to be kind of awkward and not really realizing why his chosen codename was so bad, because to him it just meant that he could make tools, or that he was a valuable tool for others, and not really ever get the other negative connotations of the word. Therefore, I decided to make it into an "extreme misspelling" so that it would be plural, in a sense, and still exemplify the awkwardness of a character trying too hard to be a cool super-hero, but couldn't really help it because he's an alien in a strange world that he's not familiar with, but doing his best to fit in. |

| Grasshopper darth_paul 2016/5/31 7:01 1508 2
In terms of the hierarchy of the E2DJF, if Shielda is the founding mother, and Jack Rabbit can be likened to the first president, then Grasshopper is the first lady. She is fiercely loyal to them and shows her constant support by always doing all that she can to promote their goals of protecting those in need. Her bio is a lot shorter than most, not really because of the lack of space, since Grasshopper and her logo take up a large part of it, which did leave me with having to be short and to the point with her, but mainly because while she is a character that I like a lot and intend to obviously have a major role with this team, what you see written here pretty much is all that I've written about her, so this layout worked itself out. |
|
| Shielda darth_paul 2016/5/31 7:00 1528 2
Shielda is the founder of Earth-II Defense, the parent organization behind the Justice Force, hence why she has both logos featured at the bottom of her bio. She's a tough chick who takes no crap from anyone and does whatever it takes to defend those in need. |

| Buddy Comic "Date Bait" Part 5 MF 2016/5/17 16:35 1562 1

| Jerk Rabbit darth_paul 2016/5/10 6:45 1651 4
Alright, this is the last rabbit character that I will be doing. I just needed a theme to work with to get some creativity flowing again, and since I started this series of characters around Easter, I figured, Easter/Springtime ... rabbits? I have several rabbit characters that I haven't done yet, so why not, I'll go with it. This guy is completely unrelated to any of the others that I have recently posted before him other than the fact that his name is yet another clever play on words with the theme of a "jackrabbit." But, naming aside, as you can read in his bio, he has no connection to "Jack Rabbit," "The Jackalope," or any of the "Senka Family." |

| The Jackalope darth_paul 2016/5/1 6:42 1626 3
This guy is a fun and different character who is another one of my "evil twin" types, but unique in that he is a total freak of nature kind of monster instead of the traditional "dark mirror" kind of opposite number that I've done with every other character of this type. The Jackalope is a mutant monster who is for all intents and purposes the "evil twin" of my hero, "Jack Rabbit," and is of course based upon the urban legend of the creature of the same name. |
|
| Jack Rabbit darth_paul 2016/5/1 6:41 1999 2
Although I started off with my o.c., "Beach Bunny" as the first character to premier for the "Earth-II Defense Justice Force" (E2DJF), and she is a half-rabbit woman, Jack here is actually the one that began the concept and story for the team. Most of my characters in my Coolstar Comics Universe were created back in the 90s while I was in high school and this guy is no exception. He is influenced by other rabbit heroes of the day such as "Usagi Yojimbo" and his little known futuristic variant "Space Usagi" as well as "Bucky O'Hare" more so the former than the latter though particularly since he is a regular guy who was mutated into his current form via twisted experiments by his arch-enemy. Very much the kind of thing that happens every day in "TMNT" a series that "Usagi" has often crossed over with. So, yeah, I liked the idea of having my own mutant rabbit character and made him a kind of space-faring secret agent type that gets his life changed for better or for worse due to his unfortunate mutation, but as these things happen, those that experience them eventually take it for what it's worth and make the best of it, which is what Jack has done. Along with Jack, I created several initial members of the E2DJF to serve as his teammates, and "Beach Bunny" is actually something of a more recent addition that I added to the group because I thought that it would be interesting to have someone on the team that he could perhaps relate to a bit more being that she's a bit like him and until she came to be on the team he never came into contact with another being mutant or otherwise who was. |

| Beach Bunny darth_paul 2016/4/10 13:19 1601 3
A while back I premiered my team of Canadian super-heroes, and one of their members is a gal by the code name of "Snow Bunny." Well, I've finally gotten around to making the bios for the rest of her family. Each of them belongs to a different group, and each one of the four sisters has a code name that is a playful tongue-in-cheek on various terms with the word "bunny."
"Beach Bunny" is a member of a super-hero team known as the "Justice Force" based on the planet Earth-II. In the Coolstar Comics Universe, Earth-II is not an alternate Earth like how Marvel or DC would designate such a world, but a completely different planet out in the Milky Way Galaxy that was colonized by the people of Earth and thus named as the second Earth. |

The last of the Senka sisters, is Candice Senka, affectionately known as "Jungle Bunny" who belongs to another team of heroines who have dubbed themselves, "Jungle Justice." It is my own take on the classic theme of jungle girls who dispense justice in an untamed environment with a bit of a sci-fi twist. |

"Dust Bunny" belongs to a group of all female heroines known as the "Anizonz," which in itself is another play on words combining the words "Amazons" with "Animals" and having that dated 90's extreme spelling that was so prevalent back then and even survives a bit to this day. Each of the women on the team have some kind of animal aspect to them and each are powered by a differently shaped black gem that gives them their own unique extra powers in addition to any that they might naturally have. |
