Seymour Splatter! Created for use in Issue #4 of our crew's comics publication. A fellow artist from my team and I decided to create some mock monster cards. These are my efforts... |

| Toolz darth_paul 2016/5/31 7:02 1514 0
Toolz rounds out the original trio that I had created many years ago as the first concepts of what has now become the E2DJF. The other two were Jack Rabbit and Grasshopper, with the rest such as Shielda and Beach Bunny, to come much later but to be added into their roles on the team a I saw fit in my behind-the-scenes writings while fleshing them out. As with many of my characters, my ideas for them come from a lot of different influences that I like to throw into a blender and see what mixes. This guy gets the youthful idealism and idolization of his older peers as a hero from the classic teen hero template, the ability to transform his arms into tools from any number of stretchy or mechanized shape-shifters, and lastly his inability to speak in any language but his own, yet be able to be understood by and understand others speaking to him in their language, from how this kind of thing always goes on in the Star Wars Universe with no problems. I usually just write his dialog in English though, but just in brackets, and make a notation somewhere to the side of the comics that it's been translated for the reader, but he really only speaks in his native Zith tongue. Also, the part in the bio above where it says that he is trying to learn how to speak universal English and learn more about human culture, but gets a little confused due to his unfamiliarity and attempts to look cool, should not be taken as me trying to make fun of anyone like that. It's purely, me setting a background for a character. The part about him changing his name from "Tool" to "Toolz" is however, a bit of self-depreciating humor on my part because I did have his name originally be "Tool," and knew that it was a bit unflattering, but I had always wanted the character to be kind of awkward and not really realizing why his chosen codename was so bad, because to him it just meant that he could make tools, or that he was a valuable tool for others, and not really ever get the other negative connotations of the word. Therefore, I decided to make it into an "extreme misspelling" so that it would be plural, in a sense, and still exemplify the awkwardness of a character trying too hard to be a cool super-hero, but couldn't really help it because he's an alien in a strange world that he's not familiar with, but doing his best to fit in. |

| Beavers Calander '13: November- Emmy (and Prudence) MF 2013/11/1 16:28 1513 0
In honor of Thanksgiving, November's calander page was supposed to feature Emmy, the 18 year old new girl at Beavers, dressed as a sexy pilgrim but the shot was ruined by Englewood's resident Puritan, her big sister Prudence. Don't worry, though, for next month's final page will feature the one Beavers girl I haven't gotten to yet. |

| Buddy Comic "Hunger Game" MF 2014/1/19 17:00 1512 0
While waiting in line for the midnight release of the latest 'Zombie Bomb' video game, Buddy has to deal with something she never expected to run into at the mall: cosplaying fanboys! I'm thinking about making those first 3 teenage boys, Jerry, Lewis and Ken, into Buddy's unofficial fan club. |

| The Evil Mutant Pirates - Professor Nucleus darth_paul 2014/9/19 8:09 1512 6
That's not a "pirate" you say?!? Well, if you read his bio, he very much is, he just doesn't happen to fit any kind of traditional physical description of what a "pirate" would look like that's all. In fact pretty much none of the members of this team do, because you know they're all mutants and sci-fi space villains and all that. |
|
| The Xelot darth_paul 2015/5/9 14:44 1512 2
The Xelot is the chief rival of the Xel Commander. He is basically second only to the Commander and wants nothing more than to outdo him. |

| GPE Month - Number Four - Graffito darth_paul 2014/2/24 7:40 1511 3
The fourth member of the Galactic Police Enforcers is a character that I put in a pin-up some years ago for another site that I used to belong to which is now defunct. In fact the image here of the character and the logo for the character are pretty much the same that I used in that previous pin-up with some minor editing and updating for a better presentation in the official bio for him now. Graffito is a bit of a tragic character who is one of my favorite creations. He is very much a "Spider-Man" kind of character, where the circumstances of his life have given him "great power and great responsibility" and mistakes where made where he must now atone for his sins and make good in his life forevermore. |
|
| O.C. - Lava Lord darth_paul 2012/11/5 18:49 1510 4
Lava Lord fills the big brute role in my original team of criminals, the Evil Society of Villains (ESV). However, he's more than just the dumb muscle, as he's also the cunning and dangerous leader of his own race of subjects. |
|
| Naught: Upper-Hand's Second-In-Command darth_paul 2012/6/14 6:11 1509 0
Naught is the second-in-command of my super-villain team, the Gremlin Organization. I wanted to make his character as a person completely devoid of emotion who is a complete and utter evil bastard. Nothing matters to him, hence his code name and ability to nullify things with his weapon. |
|
| Zodiac Bot Aquarius darth_paul 2015/9/7 8:33 1509 4
Yep, I totally went the "Age of Aquarius" hippie route with the design for my android girl representing the sign of Aquarius. It was just too good to resist. |
|
| The Jackalope darth_paul 2016/5/1 6:42 1509 3
This guy is a fun and different character who is another one of my "evil twin" types, but unique in that he is a total freak of nature kind of monster instead of the traditional "dark mirror" kind of opposite number that I've done with every other character of this type. The Jackalope is a mutant monster who is for all intents and purposes the "evil twin" of my hero, "Jack Rabbit," and is of course based upon the urban legend of the creature of the same name. |

| Genetica darth_paul 2014/11/15 11:42 1505 2
She is the wife of Mutanto, while not a freakish chimera like her husband, she is every bit a dangerous manipulator. |
|
| The Sensational Snow Bunny! darth_paul 2014/8/23 8:37 1504 5
Snow Bunny is an alien humanoid that has made Earth her adopted home world and now serves with the Northern Alliance in the protection of this planet and Canada in particular. |
|
| Element Girl darth_paul 2016/6/21 7:49 1504 5
Element Girl is my character inspired by DC's Legion of Super-Heroes member Element Lad/Alchemist. Yeah, she's just a female character with his powers and the appropriate feminine name, lol. In order to make her more my own, though, I gave her a more alien look with the golden skin and tiger-like striping, although she is in no way of any kind of feline race or species. There are no hidden cat ears or a tail or anything like that on her, and she is not covered in fur either. She is just a humanoid alien whose race just happens to have that kind of unique skin coloration, and as explained in the bio above, they all have the same golden skin, but their stripes can vary in coloration from individual to individual the same as eye and hair color can in anyone. |

|
| Zapf Dingbat darth_paul 2016/6/21 7:50 1503 4
This guy began life as what was intended to be another alter-ego for my White Bat character from the Super-Mutant Nine. I had a story idea where the generally serious Bat would have an accident where he hit his head or something and he would develop this zany split personality and start dressing like you see above and doing all kinds of crazy things, but still being a hero, just like some of the more goofball heroes out there in comics and cartoons. I also had the idea that he would be eventually cured of his predicament, and go back to being his usual serious self, but every once in a while the personality of Zapf Dingbat would resurface either through another hit on the head or just a really bad headache or whatever. The more that I thought about how good this idea was, though, the more I also thought that it might be even better if I just developed the concept for a completely different character and it could be his mentally unstable brother instead of the White Bat himself, and I created an origin for him where he had a physical deficiency where he could not tolerate the extreme cold of his home planet like others of his kind can, so he camped out in the frigid wilderness to build up his tolerance and while he did succeed, he also came out a bit bonkers from exposure to the cold. Thus, he re-named himself after the popular symbol font and set out to become his own hero just like his older bro. |

| GPE Month - Number Eleven - Longstretch darth_paul 2014/3/3 7:01 1498 3
The second third of the Galactic Police Enforcers begins with Captain T.O.M. Longstretch, an alien android with an electrically charged stretchable body and expert piloting skills. I know that I have a lot of fun and interesting characters with some pretty crazy concepts, but I can't honestly say how or why I came up with this guy. The only thing that I can say is that I wanted to make a stretchy hero, but have him be something different than the usual "Plastic Man" or "Mr. Fantastic" type, so instead I went with something more like "Machine Man" who if I'm not mistaken also has stretchy mechanical limbs. |
|
| GPE Month - Number Twenty-Seven - Sting darth_paul 2014/3/19 7:49 1498 2
Sting is my own version of an alien bee or wasp like alien species/race. This was the guy that I was referring to when Jr. showed us his "Killer Bee" character as they are similar yet very different. However, I swear to you that any similarities are purely coincidental as I had no idea his "Killer Bee" even existed when I created Sting many years ago. Anyway, I hope that you all will enjoy my interpretation of a mutant bee warrior. |

| GPE Month - Number Two - Ocular-Man darth_paul 2014/2/22 8:48 1493 4
This guy is kind of my twist on the X-Men's Cyclops, in that he's an actual cyclops! Also, as an extra nod, his code name is that he's the "Ocular-Man" of a team called the "Ocular-Men" or "O-Men" for short. Plus, obviously, there's the whole play on words in which "ocular" means eyes and "O-Men" sounds like "omen" meaning a forewarning of danger or doom, which is a testament to how tough these guys are. |
|
| GPE Month - Number Fifteen - Clone Samurai darth_paul 2014/3/7 5:14 1493 2
Clone Samurai, or just "Clone" for short, is one of my cooler creations. He has a very intricate back story involving another character of mine that isn't even remotely connected to the GPE other than the fact that this guy is his clone. However, both men have really awesome powers and abilities that serve them well on their respective teams. |
