| One of my favorite books is the WATCHMEN, great story! And so of course I wanted to include one or more of the characters in the colored pencil series. . . . . Rorschach seemed to just pop out at me first. . . one my favorite quotes of his is when they lock him up in jail and one of the prisoners shouts to him "Now you're locked in here with us" and Rorschach replies. . . ."I'm not locked in here with you, YOU'RE locked in here with ME". . . . Great stuff! |

I did this piece for a very special person for Christmas '06, I wanted it to compliment the Elektra I originally did that started this whole series of colored pencil pieces. . . . I've always liked Daredevil as a character, he's gotta be one of the koolest ones out there . . .And I had a GREAT time bringin' "The man without fear" to life!

When I was in High school, I remember picking up a mini-series by Marvel comics called "WOLVERINE" written and illustrated by Frank Miller aand I always thought he was one of the coolest characters and also one of Marvel's most tormented . . . . what a great book! If they do the Wolverine movie (and I hear they are) I hope they follow the story line from that series, IT HAD IT ALL! . . . He fought ninjas, grizzly bears, there was the love he had for a japanese woman who's father wouldn't allow it and tries to kill him, while another woman who loved him was an assassin trying to kill him too! Well at any rate this was the costume he wore in that series, iI always liked this one better than the Blue & yellow one. . . .

Well one of my FAVORITE movies is Star Wars and I'd hafta say that Darth Vader has to be one of the greatest villains EVER created! A friend asked me to do this for her nephew for Xmas so during the holidaze I threw this piece together, I always wanted to do a version of the dark lord and I'm happy with the outcome!

| Well I did this piece today (3/29/07) for a friend's birthday that's comin' up in April . . . he's into the whole Gatchaman thing and growin' up in the 70's I used to love watchin' G-Force as well, so I thought it'd be fun to do . . . . so I got a couple (Pantone?) markers together and a 6"x6" piece of Bristol paper and got busy!!! SO now I KNOW all of you have asked yourself at one time or another "Hmmm . . . what IF Elmer Fudd had become the Punisher?" Well I asked that to, and did something about it! LoL! I actually did this drawing in Black & white about 1994 or '95 ( I did it about the same time as the "Elmer's Revenge" piece) . . . and I came across the inks the other day and finally decided to color him up for the hell of it in my spare time . . . it was fun to revisit this old drawin'.
