| At long last I have finally found the Time Lord known as The Doctor, apparently this is his fourth iteration. Regardless this guy is either a genius or freaking lunatic. But eccentricities I can live with. he doesn't like my guns, and I'm guessing he'll like my blade even less. I use the word magic just once and he gives me a speech about how there's no such thing... Heh, says the guy whose species performs numerology on an epic level turning equations into reality altering power. The guy is hundreds of years older than me and I'm almost 400. Well we have that in common at least only I don't have to what's he call it? Regenerate? Yeah where I'm from that's not what regeneration is but whatever. Before he'll help me he wants me to help him stop a life long foe of his called the Dalek, I don't even know what the hell a Dalek is but you can bet for what I need him for I'm gonna put some serious holes in these metal freaks. I'm told they're cyborgs of a sort organic inside a techno tank...I have some tehcnomancy at my disposal and they're in for a big surprise. I can't wait to see the look on whatever passes for their face when they get hit with an "Erase technology" spell and their metal tank simply vanishes. Barring that I can always use "Override" and send one on a killing spree to slaughter it's own kind. Oh you best believe the good Doctor definitely found the right guy for this job. Those metal bastards won't know what hit em'. Then we fix my problem. |

Matter-Anti-matter intermix chamber with an output of 13.5 billion GW of power capable of disintegrating any matter it comes into contact with. The Forcefield is designed to allow objects to pass through
without letting the energy within it escape. (The technology used to create this weapon is unknown in this universe and is exclusive to the Golden Star Empire).
Left Gauntlet/Bracelet Grappling line 16 ton capacity, Obsidian's Left Gauntlet/Bracelet contains an Infinitium Grappling line with Matching anchor. The line is thin but otherwise indestructible. Total Length 50 feet.

Helmet: Loaded with Visual scanners Obsidian's helmet is also contains a communications package (Works in conjunction with gauntlet), Full visual spectrum scanner, internal life support/nutrition/fluid dispenser
and acts as a barrier against any level of Psionic/Mental intrusion. Unfortunately this is a double edged sword cutting intuitive perception drastically. An Infinitum Face-plate has recently been attacked
front of the helmet insuring that no means of attack will penetrate the helmet head on, the remainder of the helmet is and frame covered by a layer of Absorbium 80 which absorbs all known forms of energy.
Bodysuit: The Bodysuit is a hermetically sealed, self contained environment suit and like the helmet, is composed primarily of Absorbium 80 and enhances Obsidian strength/agility/endurance considerably allowing
him to bench press an astonishing 25 tons. Reflexes are enhanced via internal AI and Neural-Muscular inputs lattice-worked throughout the suit and helmet. In the event that Obsidian should become paralyzed (even from the neck down) the suit can still be operated with full functionality so long as Obsidian remains conscious and the suit 75% intact. Holographic camouflage with Tactile support this is like a built in disguise allowing the wearer to even appear to be unarmored if he so wishes. it is ineffective against magical sensory spells which do not reveal the true form but do reveal that it is a hologram.
Utility Belt: The Buckle can be removed and used to enhance the already impressive sensor suit of the Gauntlets and helmet, but it's most impressive feature is the Variable Contra-Gravity Generator which allows Obsidian to orient his center of Gravity to any point or direction he desires.
Kinetic Gloves: The Knuckle plates of the gloves are capable of channeling absorbed energy into a concentrated kinetic burst equal to the energy absorbed. Such attacks are further enhanced by the armor's 25 ton strength capacity. The Palms of the gauntlets are layered with Absorbium 120 and can be used (as in the case of the god Apophis) to weaken or outright kill an opponent in hand to hand combat after only a few seconds of exposure.
Absorbium 80 Overview: In addition to absorbing what one thinks of when considering energy, Absobium 80 also absorbs sound-waves, photons, impacts (kinetic energy), Magic, Psionics, and even life energy. In it's most pure form Absorbium cannot be physically touched by living beings as it is lethal. The highest level of refinement (Via Chemical processes) absorbium is rated at 120 (a thin layer of this version is applied to palms of Obsidian's gloves) it is capable of absorbing ambient life energy. When used with Nano-Irises the effects can be restricted or even stopped altogether. Due to the fact that Obsidian's armor is a creation of incredibly powerful and advanced beings the Absorbium in his suit is controlled via Sub-atomic Irises which are the single most refined method of controlling the effects of the absorbium. This method combined with an undisclosed adhesion method, allow the Absorbium to be applied in similar fashion to spray-on paint creating a thin layer that is more effective than larger plates. The technology behind this is a closely guarded secret. The absorbed energy is most often re-channeled throughout the armor to supplement the internal magical power supply potentially powering the armor indefinitely.
Biography:
Born on earth in the 20th century Obsidian was once a human. He was accidentally summoned across space and time by a Mage. After some adventures, deciding he was too old and out of shape but wanting to continue adventuring, he sought out magical means to extend his lifespan. To that end he procured the services of a mage to have himself transformed into a Luminesti elf, forsaking his humanity and Solaran roots for all time. Obsidian became embroiled in the "Millennium Wars" fighting on the side of the IGFW and its allies (Namely Earth) achieving the rank of Commander. Using the skills he acquired as an adventurer Obsidian quickly rose in rank and was recruited into a black ops branch where he was trained by the alien species known as the Oni who trained him for nearly 25 years before granting him the honorary rank of "Jonin". After his military service ended Obsidian was recruited by the mysterious Black Mantis who sought his services as an operative. Obsidian refused permanent employment with the Black mantis but did undertake assignments over a period of 100 years. Payment for those assignments has taken many forms including his ship, his weapons and various technologies, as well as his crew. Obsidian Mask is 354 years old, and for over 300 of that has been a mercenary, assassin, and something of a private investigator. Obsidian possesses several degrees, Obsidian believes in being self-sufficient and a survivalist. His Zoological knowledge has proved useful for determining types of animals that are poisonous or edible. He is a master tactician and is always suspicious. He has been a widower 2 times before his current Harem and is known to be attracted to powerful women. Obsidian still maintains ties with the Sathari Empire holding the position of "Indor" a title given to high ranking former officials by the Sathari government. As such he is under the protection of the Sathari Government until death (His species possesses an indefinite life span). To that end Obsidian has had many bodyguards, often a Psi-Mage of incredible power and experience.
At this time IGFW Intelligence recommendations are to maintain surveillance not underestimate his capabilities. Should the Golden Star Empire become involved agents should NOT interact and maintain surveillance from a discreet distance. Several agents have gone missing investigating this "Empire" and are presumed dead. At least one agent was returned and later discovered to be a clone of some variety as yet unknown. |

| Obsidian Mask Armor MK-XIII

Obsidian has been through many armor variants and to date this is the 13th iteration of his Absorbium 80 armor. The newest version dubbed the Mark 13 boasts a host of new features and accessories.
During his encounter with the Maetrix Obsidian discovered that a transporter beam was weaponized in much the same fashion as a disruptor beam. This weapon was more than capable of bypassing the safeguards which were designed to allow transport beams to affect the armor normally to allow Obsidian to transport to and fro. As a result the beam tore a significantly sized hole into the chest plate of the previous MK-XII. Because of that encounter Obsidian decided major upgrades would be needed. The MK-III does not allow a transport beam to lock onto or transport obsidian without manual deactivation of said safeguards. So while it is possible to use a standard EMT device the armor will absorb the beam as any other energy. With this addition came a modification to Obsidian's ship which replaced the technological transporter with a magical transport that utilizes a spacefold to transport off of the ship.
Another new addition to the armor is Hard Light emitters which for the first time allow flight capabilities and the use of primitive hand tools and weapons. A limited use micro replimation unit has also been installed to provide Obsidian with additional options in the field. However, the replimator can currently save a maximum of 8 items in it's database though Obsidian can swap the loadout as often necessary with the only limitation being that the files for each item need to be pre-programmed as the equipment necessary to record items for replication are far too complex to store in the armor.
The main drawback to Hard-Light and replicated items is that they have no special resistance to damage though they are not necessarily fragile. Hard light constricts usually require a significant amount of energy to operate but because of the unique construction of Obsidian's armor an abundant supply of energy is readily available at all times.
The most significant features added to the armor are the combat upgrades which enhance Obsidian's reflexes and strength. The servos in the MK-XII were previously capable of granting an astounding 100 ton capacity at maximum output, while the new servos (Manufactured using Infinitium components) are capable of nearly unlimited maximum weight capacity. The only restriction being that sufficient power needs to be absorbed by the armor in order to sustain output. As a result the armor's endoskeleton has been reinforced to in order to withstand the stresses of increasingly heavier loads. The floating skeleton can harden in sections as needed to act as a support with the servo program dictating which sections are to be reinforced. An FTL processor is required to respond as quickly as necessary. As a side effect for the first time since the armor's creation the skeleton can prevent Obsidian from being crushed to death. The second part of the combat upgrades is a direct neural input which requires several months of training to utilize properly without injury. It allows the computer to predict incoming threats and react independently of Obsidian's normal reflexes. The result is a near instantaneous reflexive response time that allows him to deflect projectiles and other incoming attacks without having to focus on them. The program can also utilize any weapons Obsidian currently equipped in his hands. The program is currently in defensive mode but can be set to offensive mode whereupon it will not only attempt to defend against the incoming attack but to also to destroy the source of the attack. The purpose of this system is to combat beings with superhuman speed such as Thunderbolt, Cheetah, Bloodstreak, and others.
The armor's vulnerabilities still include corrosives, Extreme cold, slashing/cutting attacks (not utilizing energy) and Abrasion attacks. Encasing the armor can immobilize it but if a sufficient energy supply is available the new servos will allow Obsidian to break free of all but the most durable substances.
The armor retains all of features previously installed in the MK-XII. |

Armor and weapons:
Absorbium 80 power armor: Obsidian's armor was once a heavy suit that provided no enhancements other than Camouflage and Energy Absorption. After an encounter with the villain Dominion, his suit was upgraded and while less absorptive boasts agility, speed, and strength enhancements. Both suits have Contra-Grav systems allowing him to change his point of gravity to any angle he chooses. The most recent upgrade to Obsidian's armor incorporates Absorbium 120 which can be used like Absorbium 80 with similar effectiveness with only one quarter the quantity. When used without restrictors Absorbium 120 can actually absorb life energy which is what makes it so very difficult to manufacture.
Admantine Vibro-claws: Obsidian has 2 retractable claws that while not indestructible can cut through virtually any material.
Gauntlets: Obsidian's bracers boast a wide array of surveillance, intrusion., and computer systems as well as kinetic relays which allow him to unleash stored energy into a kinetic pulse by punching a target.
Obsidian's Helmet has a wide variety of optics allowing him to see in every spectrum including x-ray. (Currently his cybernetic eyes allow him to do this without the helmet). His cybernetic eyes have similar capabilities though to a lesser degree. The helmet also have interfaces that work with all of the weapon systems of his various vehicles.
Self Contained Atmosphere: Obsidian's armor incorporates a complete self contained environment complete with food dispensaries as well as oxygen and waste direcycling. It has an energy supply that can be charged simply by kinetic impact.
Zero-Weapons: All of Obsidian's firearms are outfitted with smart systems allowing him to see through the barrel like a scope. They all support Variable round systems with nearly every type of ammunition imaginable. His guns have been enchanted so that ammunition is never depleted. They are each constructed with pure Infinitium shells making them indestructible by normal means.
Infinitium Blade: A gift from the Black Mantis Obsidian's sword can cast any spell he knows of at 5 times his power rank (Obsidian is currently rank 27) but only while the blade is retracted. The sword can cut through steel as easily as waving a stick through air and is highly enchanted so as to be able to affect even Deitic beings. The blade is semi sentient and can follow basic commands such as teleporting. The blade is absolutely lethal to anyone but Obsidian who can command anyone holding it to die. Obsidian has named the sword Godslayer and thus far it lives up to its name. The sword also boasts energy blade capabilities using a form of Anti-Matter Containment which allows objects to pass through a field containing Anti-Matter yet does not allow the Anti-Matter to escape. The damage from this version of the sword is nearly incalculable.
Flashing: All of the aforementioned gear is flashed, a process involving implants which allows said items to appear on the user at will so long as the item and the user are in the same dimension otherwise distance is not a factor.

Obsidian is known to take assignments from the figure known as he Black mantis, who may possibly be inclined to render aid do NOT confront the Black mantis under any circumstance. | At the request of his mistress Obsidian Mask travels to the outer rim of the Andromeda galaxy to a small nondescript mountainous world, the planet is unremarkable save for one notable feature...the floating city of Aldorand. The city is known for the sages that reside there as well as the magical secrets they keep. it is though to be merely a legend but the of course the Goddess of Intrigue would know better. Standing atop a high peak of a nearby mountaintop Obsidian view the city in the distance. Once there he hopes to find a way to track down and defeat Nechronos once and for all. |

| I have met the Doctor on a couple of occasions and thus far all I can determine about his species is that they have two hearts, some weird ability to alter their physical body entirely (which somehow includes personality), and travel through time, as well as between dimensions. This sounds a bit like what the Golden Star Empire (ie The Black Mantis and friends) do. Not sure if they're "Time Lords" or something entirely different but they seem awfully familiar with the Doctor whose help I am in dire need of. I find his vessel abandoned on some distant uncharted world roughly 3500 years in the future but in an entirely unknown reality. My sensors have tagged it's temporal signature as 13144.7. The Black Scorpion has forwarded a dossier of the Doctor that I haven't had time to read but a cursory examination says this guy is a scientist on a level that would make some so-called "Cosmic beings" jealous. I am able to access his vessel using a sonic emitter set to an ultra-high frequency. Stepping through I expected a confrontation for trespassing instead there's...Nothing. It's clear his vessel uses 4th-dimensional technology of an unknown variety, but once inside my sensors can easily scan for life signs within it's innards. Nothing...Nobody's home. This is gonna be one of those days. |

| ETERMINA- The Dalek's words are cut off abruptly by the searing heat of the mater/anti-matter intermix within the forcefield that is my energy blade as I eviscerate it into molten slag. Only a split second earlier another one had been shouting the same Ludacris word over and over until he was silenced by my pistol. Honestly, I thought these guys were supposed to be tough but when all you're armed with is a "Sonic Screwdriver" I suppose they are. The biggest advantage these walking (and I use the term loosely} coffee pots have is that their weapons crank out ass-loads of damage...too bad it's an energy weapon. They don't know what to make of me as my armor absorbs their blasts and so they just keep shooting and shooting to no avail. I swear, they only have the one weapon now that's just stupid. To make matters worse for them, I'm faster than they are and with my recent upgrades, I can exert an astounding 25 tons of force. And while they may have me on experience, it feels like they must have "scary movie monster syndrome" or something because they never pick up the pace. I guess they figure they don't have to...oops. The Doctor is stunned by the sheer ease with which I dispatch his old nemesis but he doesn't object to my methods. I go for the organics inside the mechanical container, which the doctor was kind enough to inform me of and these last two regret making an enemy of him and me. So far I have killed somewhere in the area of 60 of them and the Phantasm has destroyed dozens of ships in orbit. The ships these guy use are no joke and have quantum weapons capable of disrupting timelines but they're ineffective against beings not from this timeline so they're basically shooting blanks. The Doctor's T.A.R.D.I.S. keeps the collateral damage to a nearly non-existent level allowing us to proceed to the main group. There's a being called Davros who's in charge of this whole mess and the Doctor is certain he's watching the whole battle unfold from the very eyes of his soldiers. As the next Dalek sputters it's last threat, I grab hold of the eyestalk and warn Davros that I'm coming and while the Doctor may have a great respect for life, I am an assassin and there's a price on his head. The Doctor looks decidedly cross at that last statement of mine and I assure him that I most definitely take morality into consideration before agreeing to a contract. He doesn't approve of killing, he believes everyone deserves the chance to live and improve. To which I can only say, I am an apex predator just because these animals don't know that does not spare them from my wrath anymore than it would spare me from theirs...I just happen to be the more efficient killer...and I don't kill anything that didn't try to kill me first and besides, my confirmed kills don't come anywhere close to his. His high horse doesn't seem so high now and I can tell I've hit a sore spot. |

| Nightmares are demonic steeds summoned from the pits of Hades and are faster than any horse or equivalent creature in the 5 galaxies. They are immune to fire of all kinds and no form of hat can harm them. They can be summoned magically or tasked by an elder demon though the latter is rarer than one might think. These horses are not some simple dumb animal but intelligent beings just as capable at plotting evil as any denizen of Hell. They have been known to take inexperienced summoners on "shortcuts" through hell to travel faster, though they seldom tell their riders that the trip is often one way if one is not prepared for such a journey. They can speak most languages and are adept liars. They despise both Pgasai and unicorns but especially noble Pegasai with whom they are compelled to do battle with to the exclusion of all else, unto death...rider or no. They like most demons, can barter for souls though few would trade their soul for transportation. Their appearance is that of a flaming horse made of lava rock, and all extremities are aflame save for their large demonic wings. They are susceptible to cold and cold-based attacks and any attack that channels goodness or holiness. Unlike many denizens of darkness they require feeding while in the mortal realms which generally takes the form of freshly killed meat though they much prefer the taste of sentient beings they can survive on any fresh kill. They are considered class 2 demons for their sheer lack of demonic powers but their primary attack is a massive gout of flames with a range as great as any dragon's and ten times as hot. Their fire resistance/immunity does not extend to their riders and they have been know to conveniently forget this fact when seeking refuge in places such as volcanoes. They truly are a mount you ride at your own risk. As an important side note some powerful Evil warlords (including Death Knights.) are often granted one of these steeds as a reward for furthering some demon's agendas...such riders are one with their mounts and a formidable duo and should not be taken lightly. |

Of a Nightbird...
Nightbird is well known on Earth and several other IGFW worlds as well as at least 5 non allied planets. Whether alone or with her partner Red Eagle she is a formidable foe and deadly combatant. Gloria S'trill is was born of both Human and Sathari parents and while on the outside it would seem she has no superpowers whatsoever, making that assumption is a foolish mistake. Nightbird's gift are a Cosmic Class intellect, and the ability to mimic movements. This combination of powers has made her an expert in almost every field she takes even the slightest interest in. Though she possesses an IQ of 1250 she pretends to be quite dim witted when not on the job, she has been known to let out sudden "Bursts" of insight. In her day job she is a CEO at Drendle Industries (Owned by Ronald Drendle aka Red Eagle). As Nightbird she fights crime and tries to help those in need. As yet her true identity is not known to anyone..not even the super sleuth Red Eagle. Gloria has no family to speak of and lives a solitary life having found no intellectual equal has caused most of her relationships to fail dismally this in turn has made her personality equally dark though as Gloria she hides her depression remarkably well. |

Always wanted to do this but until I found a client who wanted something similar I just never found the right incentive...now My client's idea and mine, while similar, are still different in many ways...and honestly....neither is that original. So without further adue...
The giant black bats of Debras 4 also known as "Night Terrors" are unique for a singular reason...they're the most massive ever recorded. With a wingspan of nearly 45 feet they are as large as some aircraft. They possess all of the normal abilities of their diminutive cousins such as excellent night vision and a remarkable sense of smell, but unlike other fruit bats they also possess echolocation which scientists believe help them navigate the colossal caverns where they dwell. What truly sets them apart is how docile they are. These bats are a variety of fruit bats although due to the nature of their diet they have similar facial characteristics (including fangs and incisors)of vampire bats. They subsist almost entirely on the giant Loardra fruits which grow on massive towering trees that reach nearly a thousand feet in height, the fruit of which must be coaxed out much as vampire bats cause blood to flow. They have also been knwon to feed upon the various giant, half meter long, insects that frequent those very trees. With literally no competitors to speak of and virtually no natural predators save fort Dragons who find them particularly delicious, this natural order prevents their numbers from skyrocketing out of control. It is possible to tame them for use as a mount but the care and feeding of these great beasts make that an expensive endeavor. In combat they are not particularly fierce having no real natural weapons of significance, but like all animals they can bite and have nasty claws but for the most part prefer to flee from combat. As mounts they can be trained to tolerate weaponry and combat conditions but are best suited for less dangerous roles such as reconnaissance especially since they can fly without making hardly a sound. They are otherwise identical to their non-marsupial cousins in every other way. |

| So In a colossal act of utter stupidity I accidentally deleted hundreds of files for popular media models... It made me physically sick. Some of them are no longer available anywhere and some I have no money to replace. On the plus side... I was able to reacquire a great many of them which now have to be sorted. That being said I have acquired some upgraded versions of models that are outstanding...like this Star Destroyer. So fns get ready for some updated images of some old favorites. New techniques, new models, and new outlook. |

I have been given temporal coordinates to the Black Mask Society's secret starbase. As I approach my ship sticks out like a sore thumb. There are variations of the Lillun and the Runt and a couple of designs I thought about but never explored. Karr and Mantis we're only the tip of the alternate reality iceberg. The only thing we all have in common is that we're all Obsidian Mask. Unlike Mantis and Karr they aren't all alternate versions of me. Most of them aren't elves there's one who stands out...his entire demeanor reminds me of Analaeus back when he was going by Anihilus the Traitor. He's a big scary dude and his sword is definitely a Psi-Blade. I can tell by the way the others move around him that they're all a bit frightened of him and aren't very fond of his presence. My hearalmost stops when a man clad in Red steps walks towards us. His costume is identical to what Ray's would have looked like had he lived a bit longer. The spider queen next to me defers to him like he's the guy in charge. I decide to listen and see what the deal is before demanding answers, besides I'm not sure I can take on several skilled assassins at once. Assuming they're all as skilled as me. His voice is synthetic distorted by his helmet, his armor registers as Absorbium 80 and Mythril which is only marginally better than Adamantine. As he approaches I scan the bloody hell out of him...He comes back about 75% effective as a threat. Impressive and it definitely explains why he's in a position of authority. He also speaks like he's in charge.
"Spider, this the guy?"
"Yes. You should've seen-"
"You don't scan so hot pal. What makes you think you're the Prime?"
"Never said I was. You come off a bit rude though. Are you in charge here?"
"If I had my way, but no. That's all on the Shadow Mask."
"Okay so then that's who I wanna talk to."
The Psi-Mage Obsidian approaches us and in a deep grating voice straight out of a horror movie he explains.
"That is not possible at this time. There have been many attempts to infiltrate us and we must take precautions."
With each breath he emits a sound like some kind of respirator...the sound is freaking ominous. It's almost as if his whole gimmik is about fear...and it's effective. However I am way past afraid so...
"Let me explain something to all of you, I have no intention of being treated like some sort of rookie in your little fraternity. So what you're all going to do is, get me your damned leader or...get ready to prove you're the superior version of me. Now...any takers. I register about thirty pings from scanners and only the dark lord here steps up. The only problem is, his blade is only psychic energy so I meet him half way and it's a prick waving contest for all to see.
"I see what you're doing there...but this is a M.A.M.E. blade. That stands for Matter-Anti-matter Energy. I promise you, I'll leave a massive hole in the middle of your busted cybernetic body and and not feel a lick of remorse. Now unless you've made peace with whatever the hell you call an afterlife...Get the Hell out of my way."
Neither of us can see each other's face but the power of my blade can be felt from three feet away. It's power eminent with a life of it's own. There are many swords in attendance but mine is the only one smithed by the Black Mantis, and it is the only Relic class weapon in attendance. The other watch almost awestruck as the seven foot Psi-Lord back down. I'm kinda glad he does...Now I don't have to kill him. I'm tired and out of patience. The crowd gathered parts as their leader walks up. Male relatively my height, scans say he's running on pure skill and non-magical equipment.
"Now that is probably the first time anyone has ever stood up to him, let alone confronted him. Let me get a look at you. Without the helmet if you would."
Th folks in attendance all nod I tap two buttons, one to release my helmet and one .....just in case.
the hiss of air resonates as I remove my helm and I look around to see the others do the same. None of them look like me even the one who comes charging straight at me.
'Prime!!!!!"
he screams as he leaps for me, but like I said...I pressed a second button just in case. Mid leap the poor bastard is sent flying as a bright red shield roughly two feet in diameter comes screaming out of nowhere. Absorbium does many things but it does not stop edged weapons if they're tough enough...and this shield is a work of deadly art and it belongs to none other than PANTERRA!! The Cat pounces on my attacker before the poor bastard realizes what's going on an with a slap the guy is out. The remaining Obsidian's are stunned, and I'm not sure if it's because of what just happened or because there's a non-Obsidian standing before us.
"Thanks old cat."
"Any time friend."
The dark one himself seems indignant but since everyone here can scan, he decides not to mess with the Cat. Panterra has a max press of roughly 80 tons, and his armor is a unique blend of Admantine and Mythril...he doesn't absorb damage or energy, he simply shrugs it off. The guy is a Humanoid Tank.
"If we're done with that business." Their leader says nonchalantly "Let's adjourn inside."
"After you." Hopefully I can get some answers now. With Panterra at my side the three of head into one of the largest starbases I have ever seen.
'Obsidian, what you see here is the result of many of us working together."
"How many?"
"In the beginning of this debacle, several thousand. Now we're only down to only a few dozen. Losing Roger when they went to get you was a big loss, but you're the first to actually kill one of our attackers on first contact. Others have done it but only after careful planning. Any attempt to simply fight them has met with death. I only assume it has to do with that sword of yours. The aliens never touch them, and we haven't been able to figure out why. Many of us have magical weapons or hidden defenses to keep from having them turned on us. What makes yours so different?"
"C'mon, you had to have scanned it already you should know at least half of what it does."
"That's just it, your blade defies conventional scans>"
"Hmm I never tried to scan my own weapon. Normally I don't divulge but I'm at a loss here so I'll tell you this. It's a relic, an artifact of immense power and was given as payment by the Black Mantis."
"Seriously? You actually worked for that Psychopath?"
"I see his reputation precedes him."
"Something like that."
"There isn't one of us he didn't try to recruit and a bunch more he got killed. Eventually he just stopped trying."
"That explains the ships and a lot of the gear I've been noticing. he's had his fingers in a lot of pies."
"To say the least, but you're here to talk about these aliens not the Black Mantis."
"Exactly."
The information he gives me over the next eight hours is astonishing and by the end I simply want to murder each and every one of those bastards.

| Nekronimus, is a being of pure energy...and rage. Bradley Williams was once a galactically renowned scientist, known for his work in the field of sub-atomic nano research, until a fateful accident befell him. While attempting to unlock the secrets of anti-matter energy Bradley's became sealed in his magnetic suit which, when combined with his known potential for genetic aberration transformed him into the unstoppable juggernaut Nekronimus. He found he was able to release blasts of incredible energy and that he could absorb unheard of quantities of any type of energy directed at him. His scientific marvel turned to horror when he realized that he would be forever trapped within the confines of his magnetic environmental suit, never to know the touch of another human being again. His rage exploded at doctors and those around him he began lashing out at the world, killing indiscriminately anyone within eyesight. To his horror those whose lives he ended instantly rose as powerful undead, mindless and obedient, and crackling with energy. this army of undead has grown and subsided over the years and it is not known how many of these undead minions remain at his disposal. What is known is that Nekronimus has the ability to raise a single undead to normal intelligence and at twice the power of his other minions. HIs motives vary depending on what his most current goal is but one thing is certain: he searches for a cure that will allow him to keep his newfound powers. It is worth noting that power-nullifiers do not seem to be effective against Nekronimus as they are again typical Genetic Abberations since they cannot directly contact his body as he has no real body to speak of.. |
