| As noted with their individual descriptions Griffins and hippogriffs despise one another to the point where they'll attack each other on sight (and they can see for miles). There have been many specualtions for this animosity but none quite fit, it is true that they resemble predator and prey, but when you consider that they seek each other out it doesn't quite fit. One scholar suggested that it may be a matter of competition but even when competing for food they will stop hunting to fight...the best explanation is possibly that they originated as some form of magically created hybrid and that the magics used in their separate creations somehow cause this animosity as a form of compulsion. In any case no one knows for sure but many have witnessed this hatred first hand. |

| I have posted an image of a griffin before but this time I have a new lighting setup. Of course griffins are commonly used as mounts and although synthetic versions are cheaper and more easily recovered from injuries. Additionally synthetic versions have many advantages over living griffins being machines as they are. Griffins hate hippogriffs and hippogriffs hate griffins, this hatred is unheard of among non-sentient species and is profound when you consider that even when mounted they will attack one another on sight ignoring any commands and attempts by their riders who may be injured in the fight. Griffins and hippogriffs make no distinction between living and synthetic versions attack either with equal fervor and zeal. Why then would anyone want to ride a Griffin? They are loyal beyond words and very nearly sentient making them unparalleled for use as a mount and companion. |

| Not all red-skinned winged creatures are evil denizens of the abyss. The Archane are one such example benevolent and kind, defenders of the weak they act as guardians and enforcers of the Gods of light. They are powerful warriors and equally powerful wielders of magic. They like all scions are imbued with their masters power and are an investment of divine energies...few enemies can even hope to survive an encounter with these mighty beings. Archane have no names and those that do have earned them through heroic deeds (Considering their power heroic is saying something). There are no Archane females and as divine creations there are no younglings, they have been known to fall in love with mortals and have cross bred with them on even rarer occasions. Archane are immortal and also divine and as such are immune to weapons of level 2 or less. Mortal weapons even those as powerful as nuclear or anti-matter simply have no effect on them and serve only to enrage them. Conventional and non-conventional damage weapons are simply useless. So powerful are Archane that they have been known to destroy small fleets of Starships singlehandedly and at least one documented Archane is responsible for wiping out an invading force of 150,000 men in just under an hour. One survivor of an encounter with n Archane put it simply...."If you see one of these guys, and he's not on your side, run...just run." |

| Hatari (Violet)and Getraili (Blue) civilization is unusual in that where most space faring species come from unified worlds, they do not. The two species are at odds as the Hatari believe the Getraili to be inferior and treat them as second class citizens. Getraili have limited rights in Hatari systems and many have left their homeworld to find a life of acceptance within the IGFW. Relationships between the two are strictly forbidden, punishable by exile./ There are no male Hatari or Getraili and the species much the Ailoo can and often to breed with other viable humanoid species. Children born of Hatari and Getraili pairings are shunned in Hatari society and often bullied and ridiculed. Both Hatari and gatraili normally reproduce through a mental bonding as well as physical. Both species are hermaphroditic possessing both male and female organ though only one is prevalent at a time during mating. This particular feature has put off many off worlders who simply cannot fathom having two sets of opposing reproductive organs. It is possible for two mated Hatari or Getraili to become pregnant at the same time and it happens quite often but requires both partners to switch organs back and forth. This type of conception is frowned upon as it nearly lead to a massive overpopulation until Hatari started colonizing other worlds, still it is not considered wise as both partners suffer many handicaps as any woman during pregnancy. |

| many worlds exist where magic has replaced technology in nearly every facet of day to day life and beyond. Such worlds offer magical items ta low prices and nearly flooded commercial markets. The IGFW was lobbied by several conglomerates to restrict such sales stating an inability to compete with items that last nearly forever. Of course this is not exactly true and most magical items have a limited number of uses (making them easier to create) and are expensive to recharge (unless one is a mage). Many laws were passed governing the export and sales of magical items but still many individual purchases continue. |

| Okay so this took some doing and all costume credit goes to ATRION over at ShareCG.com but in any event here is my version of the Fantastic Four and they weren't easy to reproduce. Ben's skin is a custom displacement and texture, as is The Human Torch's Reed was the easiest to do with some parameter tweaking. Of course that is the same Sue Storm from my previous render as is Doom. Enjoy. |

| Faerlan Stormbow is a Rogue with a bit of Magic thrown in besides. A wood elf from the Eveningstar woods he is a bounty hunter of some repute. An expert in fencing his twin Rapiers have been the downfall of many a foe. He is altruistic and protective and just a bit naive but always loyal to friends, home, and kin. His keen mind and unearthly reflexes have thus far served him well and in the pursuit of all things good and just he has not once faltered from fear nor has he shed blood needlessly. |

| While he claims to be a master of time there is no evidence to support such claims. There is however, ample evidence to support his claim as a powerful Mage and a formidable warrior. As seen here Nechronos has the ability to control even the most powerful of creatures and bend their will to his own, whether this is done through some powerful relic or through his own incantations is unknown. What is known is that he ranks among the top 20 on The Magi-Council's most wanted list and the top 10 on the department of archaic affairs most wanted list. He is a cruel and heartless creature out for his won ends and is remorseless when in pursuit of his goals. Those unfortunate enough to cross his path or get in his way have often met with an untimely end. In short Nechronos is not to be toyed with or taken lightly. |

| The Striped Felinus are simply semi-evolved cat people that still retain approximately 40% of their Animal features. They have a savage mentality but can be tamed and taught rudimentary languages and simple repetitive labor. Many of the feline species have kept them for more nefarious purposes such as sex slaves or just slave labor. In appearance the Striped Felinus resemble many of their cousins (with whom they can create viable, yet mentally limited, offspring) however they long possess sharp claws and fangs which they use to great effectiveness when hunting or defending themselves. To the casual observer the females of their species have short velvety fur and appear quite pretty at least as far as facial features and body shape go. They are incredibly fast runners and usually travel on all fours except when walking. They can climb even the tallest trees with supreme ease. They have no society and are loners with males and females only gathering during mating times. Females may have from 1-4 kittens with a gestation period of 10 weeks. Kittens set out on their own at roughly 11 months at which time they are nearly the size of their parents. Striped Felinus live for about 30 years barring physical misfortunes and illness. They are illegal to keep as pets without an exotic license and the worlds they inhabit in the IGFW territories are guarded against trapping. Captive bred Felinus are expensive but completely legal to own. It is important to note that this species possesses only animal intelligence despite how they might appear and have no deities to which they owe allegiance and so have no form of supernatural protection. Their homeworld of Nageera 6 is a paradise untamed by modern cultures and thanks to the efforts of conservationists has been designated a refuge due to the number of species unique to that world. |

| Pictured here is a lieutenant of the IGFW. While many officers can and do serve on starships not all positions are as glamorous or adventurous. IGFW uniforms are custom fit and come in all shapes and sizes to accommodate all species including non-humanoids. The uniforms are thermally controlled and allow the wearer to remain comfortable in temperatures ranging from -45 to 110 degrees on average and come with modular self-contained environments. The uniform can protect the wearer in the vacuum of space for 24 hours after which the environment will be unable to recycle oxygen and other vital components necessary for survival. The IGFW (Inter-Galactic Federation of Worlds) is the the governing body for 3 galaxies. it serves to resolve disputes and quell conflicts. Members in good standing have guaranteed rights and protection. The IGFW is composed of hundreds of alien species most notably the Kryllians, Solarans, Luminesti, Celesti, Anaran, Ailoo, Andromidia, and Chauette. To name but a few. The IGFW is not without it's enemies however, and highest on this list is the Hadean Empire. The darkest hour for the IGFW was during the Millennium Wars which stretched the IGFW tot heir limits and nearly caused the collapse of the Federation altogether. Recently one of the former enemies of the IGFW, The Sathari Empire, became a strong ally and may apply for membership in the future due to a long and bloody rebellion. Currently the IGFW boasts some of the most advanced technology gathered under one Flag. |

| Nearly all elves posses some innate magical aptitude but not all choose to pursue the study of the archaic sciences. Obsidian is one such elf, however, is not stupid and thanks to a fulfilled contract for the Mysterious Black Mantis, Obsidian is in possession of one of the most powerful Magical weapons in existence. His sword allows him to cast any spell effect he knows of (must be an existing spell not a custom spell) and personally seen in action at 5 times the power of the actual spell. For purposes of casting the sword treats Obsidian as if he were a mage 5 times more powerful than himself. In addition he can command anyone wielding his blade to die and they will be struck dead as stone. The sword has been modified with symbiosis enchantments that allow it to teleport to Obsidian's hand when need or when taken beyond a mile from him. The sword can fight as if wielded by Obsidian for up to one full minute of combat. Obsidian rarely uses magic preferring to rely on his technology but he knows all too well that magic has it's uses. It is important to note that while the blade is extended (activated) the spell casting abilities cannot be used. |

| Orcs are a bit misunderstood, and while it is true that in ancient times they served themselves and the powers of evil, it is no longer true today. Orcs are no more good or evil than most other species. Orcs are impressive combatants in all aspects of combat. Orcs are limited in intelligence rarely ever exceeding IQ scores of 120. Orcs are a distant relative of elves, a fact that elves dispose and see as a blight on their species as a whole. |

| Faeries are diminutive humanoid creatures with glittering wings. They are forest guardians and rarely pursue technology beyond swords as their tiny size comes with certain limitations. Faeries can become invisible and even without such a power are difficult to see. Faeries build small villages and even then such places go unnoticed by "Big Folk" who see them as nothing more than natural debris.Faeries dwell deep in thick forests rarely venturing out into civilized societies. They Respect elves, and other kind Sylvan races and can be found in such company rather frequently. Faeries are very cunning and enjoy pranks especially against "Big Folk". They believe themselves to be guardians of the forest and alongside pixies and sprites have rendered entire armies impotent. They can be found captive as pets and while this is quite reprehensible it is not, illegal and so has become quite common. Faeries can speak many languages including Galactic Common due to a magical ability. Faeries can also communicate meaningfully with animals of all kinds. They are known to be attracted to small shiny objects and have been known to hoard such items as treasure along with equally small useless items. |

| Not all sentient species are organic, the Shitisceris are an example of one such species. Their crystalline bodies combined with their unique bio-energy have set them apart as sentient aliens. They have master the art of solidifies energy constructs and have the most sophisticated computer systems in existence. The create sprawling cities of breathtaking beauty and can create constructs as durable and flexible as anything man-made, from nearly any type of crystal. They have the ability to use magic and several dozen serve as Psi-Mages of the highest caliber. As one might suspect they do not require food or an atmosphere to survive but are vulnerable to abrasive atmospheres and sonic attacks. Shisceris society is Matriarchal and while they are not Xenophobic their worlds offer little of interest to off-worlders with the exception of computer crystals. Psi-Mages travel great distances to obtain unique Psi-Blade crystals that grant rare abilities which can only be found in crystals made by Shisceris crystal-smiths. Such Psi-Blade crystals are highly prized. |

| Obsidian mask settles in to his new palace as High Justiciar. He is greeted by Munavi his administrator and personal assistant. The palace is lavish fr more so than he has ever known or is comfortable with. It is obvious to him that while this place would make a splendid residence, it is neither as well defended or as mobile nor even as self sufficient as his ship. It will make a nice weekend place he thinks to himself, but all business is just going to have be conducted aboard his ship so all personnel and files will be transferred aboard the S.S. Lillun. |
