| In our current events news there was another sighting of the masked man that has come to be known as "The Hell's Kitchen Ghost" by many of the city's other papers. We here at the Express have it on good authority that the criminal element in that battle zone of a neighborhood has another name for him. They tell this reporter that his name is Wraith, and he has managed to scare the ever loving pants off of some of the local gangs now for months. Interestingly the NYPD says there is no Wraith and if there were then they would be hunting him down for indictment as a vigilante. |

Kiko Ishitaki, Japanese/Chinese American. Her mother came from a long line of Chinese witches she fought crime in the 80's as Princess Dragon. Her father was a rich weapon designer who supplied many of Earth's champions with weapons, vehicles and legal aid, when needed. When the two met it was fate and they were married in 1986, Kiko was born in 1987.
The 90's became a troubling time for heroes. In 1995 80% of Earth's heroes had died in battle with alien invaders. The remaining heroes formed a super group and became very close, too close. Princess Dragon had found love in the arms of one of those heroes and divorced her husband.
A new threat emerged from no where and the battles with dim wits gifted with powers who dressed in outlandish costumes was replaced by creatures of all shapes and sizes, no purpose save destruction.
In the year 2001, Princess Dragon was killed in action by one such beast, her body never recovered, a portion of her power was transfered to her young daughter.
Kiko had trained to be a hero all her life with her mother, but now living in her father's home, she had to do so in secret.
In 2007 her father disappeared and no longer would she sit on the sidelines. She would join the battle with her mother's allies and find her father.
Two simple goals...so she thought. |

Once a great hero of the Israelis, Gevruh snapped from the strain of trying to defend a bitterly divided country. He went on a rampage, killing dozens, including his brother, the Promise, before he was finally subdued.
Gevruh has superhuman strength and endurance, and an ability to generate bursts of destructive energy. But his real talent is his brilliant strategic mind. He managed to pull off his rampage by stirring up racial/religious tensions so that while he was randomly killing civilians, the police force was stuck dealing with an epidemic of rioting. Because of his tactical abilities, he was transferred to a top-secret bunker and given a new codename Qlipoth ("husks" in Hebrew - has negative connotations in Jewish mysticism). Among the most hawkish members in the Israeli government, Qlipoth is viewed as the ultimate trump card in the seemingly unending struggle for the Holy Land... |

| Red Howlet & Allies

It's never wise to become a neighborhood superhero without allies who've got your back. For Red Howlet, these are Enver and Qitta. Enver's a Turkish-descended powerhouse, super-strong, super-durable, and able to create shockwaves that can level buildings. His powers are mystical in origin (he creates shockwaves by speaking a magic word), and he's been told that one day he will be forced to use them in a way that will harm or kill many people in order to destroy a great evil. For the most part, though, he's a nice guy who enjoys playing a white knight for pretty girls, though occasionally, he overdoes it, as in this pic.
Qitta, by contrast, is not so much of a powerhouse. Born in Somalia, her family came to America during the war and relied heavily on the charity of 'Allam al-Wafiyah. When the man called Beit took over the Boston offices, he decided that her family owed a debt, and took her as payment, using her in an experiment to see if his powers were great enough to bestow superhuman abilities upon others. He turned her into a feral creature and unleashed her in Little Yugo, hoping she'd be enough of a threat to make the Red Howlet turn to him for help. The transformation crapped out, however, and Qitta reverted back to human form. Of course, Beit has not called off the debt, so Qitta still has to go out in costume whenever Beit orders her to make trouble. She usually ends up helping Red Howlet fight crime. (Thankfully, Beit never bothers to send anyone to make sure Qitta is actually making trouble.)
Of course, every alliance has risks. Both Enver and Qitta have ties to Beit, and Enver in particular believes that, whatever Beit's personal intentions, the coalition that Beit has formed can help him in his efforts to clean up his neighborhood, and would help Red Howlet if she were to join (not to mention the fact that part of him fears that Beit may be the great evil that he is destined to fight.) As such, Red Howlet is constantly aware that one day she might have to fight her friends. |

I got bit by the "Pulp Novel Style" cover bug and this popped into my head. This is a 1940's, magic based, hero I was playing in a Marvel Universe RPG. He's a mage; by trade and somewhat of a bad ass.

| Thought I give you guys a look at my next book project for Darkside Graffix/Unicorn Comics. The book's called Double-Play and of course its a team-up title. I know I have several other projects yet unfinished but this is a story I've been wanting to do since it was written back in the 90's. I'm about 4 pages into this 12 page book [Part 1 of 3] and will probally start posting them when i reach the halfway point. The stars of this book are Tiger Lily and Nita, plus guest appearances by Felinea and Sheba. Normally I'd dig a little deeper into the synopsis of the story but I figured that you'd probally just like to drool over the girls for right now. lol Creds: V4/V3/V4&V3 Bodysuits [custom textures by myself]/V2 Spywear Bob-Daz3D/V3 Longhair Evolution-Kozoburo/Asian Influence facial Morphs for V3 [can't recall where I got it]/etc. |
