| This last weekend at the Cincinnati Comic Expo I had one of my favorite commission artists, Andy Price, draw my OC Buddy the Pal Gal. She may not look exactly like I draw her, but I still love it! He definately captured Buddy's sexy saucy side, even if she is a little clumsier than usual here. |

The world was in a panic. Ten major countries had released missiles at important cities all over the glove. Each of the countries claimed that the attacks were an accident, which hardly anyone believed. As the world saw famous leaders and military generals arguing amongst each other, many were certain that another world war was eminent.
One person was not convinced that these missiles could have been launched purposely by the countries accused of launching them. The countries were all known to be sworn enemies of each other. How could they have known that all of them would attack, without warning, at the same time? There had to have been a secret party behind all of this. Something was fishy.
The unconvinced person investigating the matter and searching for the truth was White Owl, a superheroine living in one of the cities that had been attacked- Queen City.

Recently I was asked to contribute some artwork to a comic that is being put together by a guy named Dan Schkade of his characters. Several different artists are working on the book and I was assigned six pages. I'm going to post them here now that they are done. I need some honest feedback on this character design
for my webcomic. It's supposed to be the main character's rock star persona, but being the general geek I am, I don't know if it's quite right for what I want. I'm going for more of a punk rocker chick look, rife with studs and tats and everything else your mother warned you about in a girl, that sort of thing. Please, anyone, just let me know what you think and what, if anything, she needs. Thanks in advance. |

What seems like a long time ago  addy and I were busy collaborating on bringing his Biohazard Taskforce characters to the life in comicbook form. I hated that the book was discontinued [that's a story for another time] but most of all I hated that no one would have a chance to see what we were working on. I couldn't pass up doing at least one Halloween-type character, so here is my latest o.c. Jyl O'Lantern! She is an alien bounty hunter that was inspired by the Earth holiday of Halloween to create her entire repertoire of gimmicks and persona around. Her race is Unizian from the planet Uniz, and they are physically similar to the Revans from the planet Reva, another alien race of mine recently seen from examples of my characters "Suni Shores" and "Racer-Girl." The difference between the Unizians and the Revans is quite subtle. Unizians and Revans both have solid colored eyes with no visible pupils or irises that come in many colors, as well as hair that comes in many colors, but only Revans have skin tones that come in multiple colors - all Unizians are red and red alone. The other subtle difference between the two races is that while both have pointed ears, the Revans' ears bend downward a bit whereas the Unizians have straight elfin-like ears. Thus, the Unizians are more in line with my other race of green skinned elves from the planet Vegtan as shown by the character "Elf Queen" except that they're obviously red and not green and not known as "elves" either.   |

Full Name: Matthew Stern. Occupation: Graduate student working for NASA. Age: 21. Height: 5’11”. Weight: 200 lbs. Eyes: Brown. Hair: Blond. Base of Operations: Coast Center City, CA. Weapons/Accessories/Powers/Abilities: An accident involving experimental anti-gravity electrons has given him the power of flight, and his costume’s cape acts like a glider to assist with this ability. His mask lets him see as an owl does in low light conditions and at great distances with incredible accuracy. Lastly, he carries a series of disc-like weapons with three bladed extensions that he has dubbed his “O-Rings.”
History: Matthew Stern is a young genius. He graduated college in his teens and was already working as a graduate student for NASA at only 21. His first task at the space administration was to provide some assistance with an experiment on anti-gravity electrons. He was working on the project late one night, and all was going well until a stray owl somehow got into the lab and frightened him causing the young man to go stumbling into the machine containing the electrons and get irradiated with them. He was discovered by the night security unconscious, but alive and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Upon awaking the next morning, the doctors ran some tests on him and everything seemed normal so they let him go. However, that night he was looking out the window of his apartment at the night sky and was reflecting on the events that had transpired. He was happy to be alive and glad that NASA called to say everything was fine at the lab so that he could continue his work with no troubles. Yet, as he looked at the stars he heard the familiar hooting of an owl nearby. He turned his attention to a tree outside his window and to his surprise saw what appeared to be the same owl that startled him the night before in the lab. He reached out to try and make contact with the animal to see why it was so attracted to him, but as he did so he slipped out the window and would have fallen with a crash to the ground, but in mid fall he began to just float in the air. The anti-gravity electrons had given him the power to fly, and it was at that moment that he decided to use his scientific know-how to become a super-hero named after his inspiration … The Owl! |

| A friend of mine recently asked me to draw this idea for a short cartoon that she had. I think it turned out pretty neat. The idea, story, script and everything was her idea. All I added was the drawing part. Although I did add the title. Such as it is. |

| Although I started off with my o.c., "Beach Bunny" as the first character to premier for the "Earth-II Defense Justice Force" (E2DJF), and she is a half-rabbit woman, Jack here is actually the one that began the concept and story for the team. Most of my characters in my Coolstar Comics Universe were created back in the 90s while I was in high school and this guy is no exception. He is influenced by other rabbit heroes of the day such as "Usagi Yojimbo" and his little known futuristic variant "Space Usagi" as well as "Bucky O'Hare" more so the former than the latter though particularly since he is a regular guy who was mutated into his current form via twisted experiments by his arch-enemy. Very much the kind of thing that happens every day in "TMNT" a series that "Usagi" has often crossed over with. So, yeah, I liked the idea of having my own mutant rabbit character and made him a kind of space-faring secret agent type that gets his life changed for better or for worse due to his unfortunate mutation, but as these things happen, those that experience them eventually take it for what it's worth and make the best of it, which is what Jack has done. Along with Jack, I created several initial members of the E2DJF to serve as his teammates, and "Beach Bunny" is actually something of a more recent addition that I added to the group because I thought that it would be interesting to have someone on the team that he could perhaps relate to a bit more being that she's a bit like him and until she came to be on the team he never came into contact with another being mutant or otherwise who was. |

| Firecracker - Second in Command of the F.O.U.R.T.H. Party

| While for all appearances, Firecracker is just a female version of my character, Fireworks, she is actually the second in command of his alternate team, the F.O.U.R.T.H. Party, when he isn't doing his regular job as part of the Galactic Police Enforcers. Besides the two of them, there are at least three other members, one other female, and two more males, and they all wear the similar uniforms and have the same cybernetic powers, making the total number of members as five when Fireworks is with them, but only four without him. However, the team name doesn't neccessarily refer to the number of members, but actually to them being an American themed team of heroes, specifially themed after American Independence Day, or The 4th of July. |

| This is just sort of reiterating some what's already in her bio above, but I really don't know what else to say about the character here that hasn't already been covered in it. Hour Lass? real name is Bobbi Levitz and she is the daughter of Robert A. Levitz, a.k.a. the Guardian Watcher. Unbeknownst to him, she followed her father into the prime [Coolstar] universe from their alternate reality one. When she followed him she was but a child, but the cosmic space-time energies aged her to a young woman of age 18 when she emerged and also gave her time travel and time control powers similar to her father?s. She is now on a mission of self-discovery as a heroine in her new universe to make up for those lost years of her life due to the effects of the trip. |
