Been watching a dvd of that old Defenders of the Earth cartoon and wanted to do a pic of my two favorites. Lothar and the Phantom.
This one was SO close. The only things that bother me are Lothar's left arm and Phantom's leg. Those screw up the whole shot. |

Well I am having a bit of a superhero weekend what with browsing Deviant and watching superhero movies on TV. I came across the pencils for this image via one of the groups of which I am a member and was so taken by them that I had to have a go at inking and coloring/shading them as a gift to a talented artist.
Hope I did the image justice!

I am making and re-modifying 9 or 10 covers for everyone to enjoy!
I hope maybe that someone else joins in this could be fun.
My choice for "Honey West" is SMG.

| I refuse to divulge who this is supposed to be since I failed horribly in trying to capture their likeness. It looked ok until I decided to try my hand with the grey markers. I just have to chalk it up as a learning experience. In my defense, I did it very quickly. |

I Really miss this series!
