hey hey HMers,
so i think i've kept ya'll waiting long enough. a while back i was watching the witches season of american horror story that featured stevie nicks of fleetwood mac fame.needless to say i am a huge fan of the series annnnd of course stevie.especially since they featured the song '7 wonders toward the end.as the storyline went each witch had a magical gift or an ability that enabled them to attend a school that taught them to develop their talents.at the end of that training they could be chosen to take a test called '7 wonders' if they passed they were named 'witch'.
since i watched that season i've created a series of 'witch' images called appropriately named 7 wonders. cause ahs and stevie rock lol.

hey hey HM,
good to be back.i missed ya'll.as you probably saw on my last
post the past few months have been rough.i'd hoped to post more regularly but recent job changes and a few other RL events gave me very limited online time.
leme take ya'll back a year or so.i had a job buffing metal parts for a heating element manufacturer.the building i worked in was old and prolly one of theee most horror film settish places i've ever been in.anyhoo as is my typical luck my coworkers went on summer vacation for 2 weeks leaving the new guy,me, to finish up that weeks casts pretty much alone so i walked around checkin out the building.
let me tell ya creeeepy 4 reeel.the whole place was filled with ash ,soot,metal shavings from a huge furnace.since the furnaces were off it was dark pretty much.of course that just added to the creepout factor lol.
so i just walked through takin a few pics of the best parts.
found a few undead hangin out. waadoyaa know i made it out ;)
ps. i haven't forgotten imy promise to tell ya'll about the 7 wonders.lemee catch up with some posts first.

one of my fondest memories of my childhood was reading mr. donald sobol's encyclopedia brown books.as i remember it i was introduced to them by a young english teacher who would later become one of the finest educators and guidance councelors baltimore city maryland has ever seen.
during my young years she taught me the importance and joys of reading and words.over the years i spent hours reading whatever i could get my hands on be it solving mysteries with leroy ,nancy,frank and joe or sitting at the round table with arthur even adventuring through the forests of sherwood.not to mention the comics i bought with my 35cents allowance.least i forget our wonderful scrabble games.
as a late teen i found my true love, art.i began to tell stories of my own as pictures.jump forward give or take to about 22 years ago i shaped an art collection called infinite eye comprised of images and stories.a small part of i'm happy to say, are a part of this gallery.
you see the lady,affectionately known as mrs hilliard to students,friends and peers was my mom.without the gifts she gave me i may never have reached my dream of telling you all my stories.
mom passed away this past may.even though she's moved on from this world she will always be next to me watching as i continue to tell my dreams .

few tuts on setting up good lights i still got some graininess on mylast few attempts.BUT i loved the mysteriousness i got on this one..

this year i'm feelin pretty festive and pumped for the coming new year.2018 was great artistcally real life had few ups and downs though.all in all i have a great new job and a wonderful family and friends in all 4 corners of the world.so i have a looot to be thankful for.
in other news holy toledo !!! joinin in on the secret santa was a rush and a half!! you guys put together some amazitastic images.it was an honor for me to put an image together for drunkendragon,who i consider a legend in the 3d world.go find his bat models and you'll know what i mean.
anyhoo thanks bunches for all the support over the last 8 years.

i wish i had more time to visit you guys.it's always an awesome experience when i get to come by.i'm in the process of developing images a calender and maybe some for a photoshop mag.that and my real life work keep me on the go.
anyhoo i started a series of images called 7 wonders recently.the characters are kind of gothy rock lovin pinupy witches.so far there are about 23 .sky is one of the newest. i may post a few here from time to time but to be fair the art i see here is amazing and so is the feedback i've gotten is far more important to me than posting every piece i do.no worries though i've got plenty of good stuff to share.

Mister Mxyzptlk (/mɪksˈjɛzpɪtəlɪk/ miks-YEZ-pit-əl-ik, /ˈmɪksɪlplɪk/), sometimes called Mxy, is a fictional impish character who appears in DC Comics' Superman comic books, sometimes as a supervillain and other times as an antihero.
Mr. Mxyzptlk was created to appear in Superman #30 (Sept. 1944), in the story "The Mysterious Mr. Mxyzptlk", by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Ira Yarborough. But due to publishing lag time, the character saw print first in the Superman daily comic strip by writer Whitney Ellsworth and artist Wayne Boring.[1]

funny thing happened the other day... as a friend and i were discussing some old school rap songs, i remembered a rapper named redhead kingpin from the 80's... i know i know i'm old hahaa. anyway he and his dj came up with a track called redhead one. all it was was the kingpin's voice from the old spiderman cartoons. no rappin at all just the sinister kingpin's voice. yup so i sang *cough* it a few times and jumped in the lab.

anyhoo i discovered this old west hero while browsing youtube.i'm a sucker for a cool hero as we all know.this time as i was watching his story daz was already loaded with a half sculpted figure.no doubt his story will keep me busy for a while.

hey there,
the year was 1972.an author named martin caidin penned a book called cyborg which later became a hit tv show.we all know the story.
while i was coming up with a concept for this i got to thinking, imagine this :
colonel steve austin wakes up in a hospital, looks around with one good eye,wait 2,one works normal the other is like surreal 3d.then he thinks 'oh wow some jello' so he reaches out with his left hand...hmm feels kinda funny...and crushes the cup...wth? so he rolls outta the bed like denneneneneenne oops cracked the floor...room's like omg i can see they need a new cleaning lady.
then reality hit... 'i was headed for the stars annd' ...reality hits part 2..."a man barely alive...we can rebuild him..."
lol see this is why i wanted to be an artist.so i put my own spin on my favorite heroes and just maybe someday some kid will see something i did and do the same.

actually i think we're all a little young to remember pam grier's foxy character. i was about 8 when her movies came out.like most things 70's everything seemed to be rated R.these days nobody so much as bats an eye at a pair of booty shorts lol.quiet as it's kept i didn't actually watch it till i was maybe 20 something and kinda cheesy.but on the real pam was and is still a hottie.

let me let ya'll in on a little secret...i am a diehard wrestling fan hahaha but i bet ya'll already knew that (sorry,i just channeled alberto del rio).
i remember watching steve austin way back when he was in wcw.i could kinda see he had flashes of somethin great back then.but as fate would have it wcw spent waaaaay too much time trying to outdo the wwe and ultimately crashed and burned.stunning steve was already raisin hell in wweland by then though.oooh when the glass broke and jr screamed stone cold! i was on the edge of my seat.man i miss the attitude era lol.
