This costume of Supergirl is one of my favorite designs. I was going to do a New 52 version but I'm just not crazy about the costume.

Retake on my Spiderwoman & Jr pic and a spoof of the first Superman movie. Flattering portrait of Jr from Dark Knights pic in HAC Gallery. SG legs from an asian nude. SG torso from a blonde nude, coloured blue & de-nippled. "S" emblem ripped off of Superman's invulnerable suit and sewed onto Supergirl's leotard with invulnerable thread. Drank another bottle of Jr (cheap) Vodka and scanned bottle. SG head decapitated from Jedifan's excellent SG manip. SG panties from Victoria's Secrets. Sheep from Texas. All sheep are over 21 years old (proof on file) |

Ok, ok, I know there's about 12 million Supergirl manips on the site. But I found this cute blonde base pic and she simply cried out to be transformed into S-gal. |

| Supergirl - Lost Daughter of Krypton LocalHero 2007/8/19 12:46 3633 2
Just a quick manip of Kristiana Loken as Kara Zo-Rel. Multiple background layers - new york (yes I left in the towers!), couple of exploding planets overlayed and some kryptonian script. Supergirl herself is recolor of Kristiana's original clothes with some alterations to make the belt/skirt and the cape added from scratch. The shirt logo was deformed from one i created using psp vectors. removed some (few) blemishes and enhanced the eye color. Little ship in the background is kara escaping the explosion.
Wanted to do a more realistic version of the current costume, but I prefer the highly saturated feel, these are comic characters after all.
This is an homage to the helen slater supergirl promo poster of her flying over new york |

| Supergirl - New Uniform Wolverine1607 2006/7/7 15:42 7375 17
Superman, Supergirl, my most favorite characters. Anyway onto the subject at hand. I was messin around and I decided that I would try and make my own uniform for Supergirl. As well as a different looking logo. Take a look and let me know what ya think. The logo is based on the logo that Tim Burton would have done, other than that I didn't like his concept or idea at all for the movie. I digress take a look! Thanks |

I just couldn?t decide which version I liked best, so I put in all three. I would like your opinion as to which is your favorite?
I am personally leaning towards the first two. The third version, with the cape, is my least favorite. ?No capes!? ? Edna Mode
Comments and suggestions are welcome and needed!
Thanks!

| SuperGirl - Peaceful Summer LocalHero 2004/8/21 9:58 5370 14
Well this is a manip I have been working on of Kristiana Locken as Supergirl (the actual photomanip isn't finished but I wanted to try something different with what I have done so far.) The original pic of Kristiana was of a magazine cover and she is wearing a purple swimsuit. I manipped on the costume (will provide details when I post the actual finished manip) and then have been trying to tweak it for the past week or so. Anyways I wanted to submit something new and I thought I might try giving it a sketchy look. I have tried this before with various levels of success and failure but I think this one turned out ok. I merged all the layers in my WIP together to get Kristiana in costume cut out on a layer of her own then I found a nice background at eldargraphics.com which matched the lighting and coloring of kristiana quite well. flipped the background to match pose and merged both layers together. duplicated the layer. On one layer I added some random white noise and then used my trusty old penpartner tablet and began to 'scratch' away at the picture to give the impression of pencil strokes. The other layer I used the edge preserving smooth at max and then enhanced edges and finally traced contours to give 'layout' lines and add some definition back to some of the shapes. all in all I think it came out quite well.. and now back to the manip itself. |

I used almost the same design as my previous suit, but I lost the cape, changed the color scheme, and added the pants, instead of the skirt. I really like it. I hope you do too. Enjoy! |

Here is my submission for the Heromorph #1000 idea discussed in the forums. It features a Supergirl from three different eras: 70's, 80's and present day. Perhaps it could be some crisis in time sort of adventure. |

Just something fun here. And who doesn't love a good supergirl. I know I do. Thats of course becuase she is one of my most favorites of all time. And man how time flies, I was looking today and this is the 14th supergirl image I have done. And the 98th image since I every have started making these. Much love for the site. Wanted to share. The model for this one was Tommie Jo. I think it was a good choice. I tried to change the uniform up a bit, darker blues and reds, as well some different smaller details. Artwok is mine, Supergril and characters belongs of course to DC. Take a look let me know here. Thanks!! |

I have really no time to participate in the Halloween Team-ups, which I am sorry about that. This image took me a little over 6 months to complete and finish. But I have really been wanting to work on something. So why not go back to what characters you like the most. With work and all that goes on right now around my house its just difficult to complete anything. Someday now I'll finish up the other 18 images "in progress". Hope everyone enjoys. The model for this is Gwen Barker. Supergirl is DC Comics. And artwork is me. Thanks for all who take a look, and comments are welcomed. |

| Supergirl 2.0 Android 2006/8/14 16:36 12464 13
1. Source: Lisa Dergan (from Stuff Magazine), woman lying on a bed and a left leg.
2. Describing the image: It is great to be able to carry through a photomanip from a more dynamic composition (Lisa was emerging from the water).
3. Making of: Step 01: Looking for a new body. Although Lisa?s photo was perfect, nothing more it had below the waist to work. Finding a new body was easy. Good!
Step 02: Looking for textures. The same texture for cape and skirt of Supergirl 01. The boots are real but I needed to rearrange their angles to fit themselves on the body.
Step 03: Making blue uniform. The procedures are identical to Supergirl 01.
Step 04: Combining ?Supergirl layers?. Creating other sources of light that did not exist in the original photos are a way to ?marry? them.
Step 05: Making background. Remembering of the wet hair and its new and reconstructed pose, I decided to place Supergirl flying over a distant ocean.
Final note: Now I like her left foot. |

That will be the last Supergirl for me although I'm very proud of this work! As I said before, Victoria's former version had a very wrong lightning. I thought for a moment and decided to take advantage of the original light source. Then, with a few modifications (her skirt, eyes and brightness), I had the opportunity to make a huge scene. Some comments: Here, Supergirl is activating her heat vision. The driver is oddly similar to a pic of mine. Desert, clouds and money were found on a Google research and very modified. The entire cockpit, including the gun shots, broken glass, crucifix and hand were made by me. |
