| Marvel Elseworlds, Kallisti Style: Black Cat Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/12/13 20:44 4489 13
because the mighty Winterhawk demanded it: here's my version of Black Cat. i fiddled with this for a long time, decided to give up the white hair... i had the idea for a pink/black color combo for a while... the leopard print was almost an afterthought, heh. enjoy! comments appreciated... who should i do next? |

| Marvel Elseworlds, Kallisti Style: Dazzler and Jubilee at the Club Kallisti Marvel Comics 2005/2/2 16:51 4648 14
okay, i've been gone a while, but inspiration hit me the other day while browsing my model collection and here you have it: my versions of Dazzler (model is Lindsey Marshall, red hair on right) and Jubilee (a combination of two unknown models, on the left). i guess they're at a rave or something. they probably got paid to do the light show... its good to be back! Enjoy! comments appreciated... |

| Marvel Elseworlds Kallisti Style, pt. 5: Rogue Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/12/15 18:30 3555 5
OK so i went for the feisty-teenager look for rogue here, fairly simple costume. just jeans and a sweater basically, over a protective bodysuit. naturally, the bodysuit is more to protect others, not rogue herself. her gloves are easily removable, so she doesn't have to go around kissing bad guys all the time. enjoy! comments appreciated... |

| Marvel Elseworlds Kallisti Style, pt. 3: Fantastic Four Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/12/12 16:44 4257 10
after doing my sue storm elseworlds pic, i couldn't let go of the idea to redo all four members of the team. here's what i spent a good portion of my sunday on, to get it out of my system. i toyed with the idea that they wear different colored uniforms, probably from mission to mission, and carry various pieces of mission-specific equipment. due to his elasticity, mr. fantastic carries no gadgets. went for a sort of same-but-different concept for both ben grimm and johnny storm. enjoy! comments appreciated. |
|
| Marvel Elseworlds Kallisti Style, pt. 2: Invisible Girl Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/12/6 18:33 4256 5
OK so i didn't change her appearance all that much, just changed the costume colors and made the whole thing look a little more high-tech. the Fantastic Four strike me as a group that would use lots of gadgets. i plan on doing a group manip of my versions of the entire team. Enjoy! comments appreciated. Welcome Back Heromorph!!! |

| Magick Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/3/21 23:17 4007 5
Okay, so I've been working on this for a couple of days, and i don't feel like working on it anymore. Thanks to Matrixblur for giving me the link to his metal textures, unfortunately, i got the message right after completing the manip. For the metal I actually frankensteined a bunch of pics of armor i found on the web, and used the plastic wrap and chrome filters with adjustments to the brightness/contrast. I'm proud of this one, even though it needs work. Especially the boots, but hey, it's my first try at boots. Let me know what you think. |

| Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman Kallisti DC Comics 2004/5/1 5:52 5436 8
My vote for the actress to play WW in the movies. Also, my first attempt at a WW manip. Harder than I expected it to be. The base pic had this nifty reflection in it, so i left it there in an effort to show a bit of what the original looked like. Notice i have changed the color of the apple she is eating from red to gold. (Sorry i posted 3 pics in a row, but the site has been down for a while and i've been itching to post these three. Also, due to certain factors, my internet connection could be down for a while next week, so i figured i'd get them all in so maybe i can get some feedback before then!) Enjoy... |

| Kris: the Golden Guard Kallisti Other Comics 2004/6/21 11:33 3470 6
Kris from Hero Alliance stands in the ruins of the Guardmen's great hall, reflecting on the loss of her father and his teammates. This is the version of Kris from my group H.A. manip, and i liked it so much i wanted to show off the details... enjoy! |

| Hero Insider Issue #1 Kallisti DC Comics 2005/3/2 21:11 3599 6
So i found this magazine cover for something called "Star Week" and it had Lucy Lawless on it and some interview about some new series she's supposed to be in after Xena. The Warrior Woman title was already there. Basically I just made the headband, plopped in some new text, and tried to smooth some of the lines on her face out a bit. but not too much! WW is supposed to be tough as nails... Could possibly become a new series. Enjoy! Comments appreciated... |

| Hero Alliance (re-post) Kallisti Other Comics 2004/6/20 16:37 4269 8
DISCLAMER: this picture was waaay oversized when i posted it originally. so here's the optimized-for-web version, sized down considerably. i will now re-post the original description MODERATORS PLEASE DELETE PREVIOUS POST *ahem*:
You want obscure, here's obscure. I'm not sure how many Heromorphers are Hero Alliance Fans. Alot of great artists got their start on this comic. This group manip depicts some of the team's members, standing in front of the ruins of the Guardmen Complex destroyed by a villain named Sepulchre, killing most of the team. This is how Hero Alliance got their start, in the wake of the Guardmen disaster. I love these characters, and alot of detail was lost in the grouping process, so if anyone wants to see an individual manip or two let me know! Also, some of you may noticed that the bases for Victor and Kris are identical to the first two manips i ever posted here. I think if you compare my old Victor/Kris manips to these, you can see marked improvement. What do you think? Enjoy!

| Gossamyr Kallisti Other Comics 2004/6/21 13:34 3275 6
Since BB requested it, here's an individual manip of Gossamyr from Hero Alliance... with a slightly uninspired background... come on folks! they can't all be winners, can they?... enjoy! |
|
| Goldstar Kallisti DC Comics 2004/3/14 20:35 7169 7
This is Goldstar, a rather obscure character from DC Comics. She used to pal around with Booster Gold. This is the costume she was wearing in the 1987 issue of DC Who's Who that I have. I don't know much about what this character is up to now, if anything. I don't believe her powers would allow her to survive in space, but i thought the background looked nice, so yeah. I'm not exactly happy with the star on her chest, but I do think I am improving... |
|
| Fury Kallisti DC Comics 2004/6/19 16:01 3938 5
From DC Comics. I don't know much about this character, she's in an issue of Who's Who that i have. Enjoy! |
|
| Flashback Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/6/19 16:02 2910 2
Another character from Omega Flight, this is Flashback. He's the one on the right. The other guy is one of any number of temporal counterparts Flashback can summon at will. |
|
| Eternity Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/7/11 0:29 2926 3
OK, so now i've caught up on unposted manips. This is Eternity, one of the extremely powerful abstract Cosmic entities in the Marvel Universe. This manip might look easy, but it took an insanely long time to do. I plan to do almost all of the major Cosmic beings, including Infinity, Eon, Ego, Abraxas, all those, plus Silver Surfer, and if i'm feeling ambitious, maybe Galactus or the Watcher! |

| Eris and the Chaos Girls, pt2 Kallisti Original Characters 2006/3/5 19:54 2858 1
two more original characters by me. see pic description below, yaddayaddayadda... |
|
| Eris and the Chaos Girls, pt1 Kallisti Original Characters 2006/3/5 19:52 3403 5
a couple of characters from a comic series i'm half-a$$ed developing on and off for the last couple of years now. i posted these over at Bold Comics, and hopefully they're still there, as i plan to continue work as soon as i get my video card issues taken care of.
anyways, this is Eris, and one of her Chaos Girls. there are numerous members of this loose-knit 'team.' i'll post a bit more info in a comment if anyone is interested. or they can check out all the manips i've done of these and other characters, and about a dozen pages scripted for 'issue 1' over at BC.
nice to be back :) |

| Do you mind? I'm busy here... Kallisti Marvel Comics 2009/5/23 21:22 3107 4
I've been slaving over this portrait of Domino since last night, and I think I'm done. So here she is, in all her annoyed glory. Comments appreciated. |
|
| DC Elseworlds Kallisti Style: Wonder Woman Kallisti DC Comics 2004/10/29 20:07 5577 10
this one took the longest of the bunch, mainly because i really couldn't decide on costume changes... the casting was easy, that's Tera Patrick. i franked her head onto the buff base model, and then manipped until my heart was content.. or at least until i was sick of looking at it. part 5 in an ongoing series of customized DC heroines... only one more to go! enjoy! comments appreciated. |
|
| DC Elseworlds Kallisti Style: Powergirl REPOST Kallisti DC Comics 2004/11/10 13:39 4856 11
by popular demand, here's a reworked version of my Elseworlds version of PowerGirl, without the lens flare. i did a little more touching up while i was there, making her eyes green and just generally cleaning the image a bit. for those interested, the model is Masuimi Max. enjoy! comments appreciated. |
|
| DC Elseworlds Kallisti Style, pt3: Catwoman Kallisti DC Comics 2004/10/25 21:10 5724 14
this pose is pure catwoman, and the model is the incomparably sexy Ariana Sage. another installment in my elseworlds series, featuring a somewhat modified variation of a little-used costume, and a very different-looking selina kyle. enjoy! comments appreciated. |
|
| DC Elseworlds Kallisti Style pt4: Mary Marvel/Black Eve Kallisti DC Comics 2004/10/25 21:14 5301 5
ok so for mary marvel i decided to take sort of a black adam approach, partly because i couldn't really decide on a modified costume i liked, and more because, well, black adam doesn't wear a cape and i didn't feel like doing one. so there. so here's Black Eve, or Mary Marvel if she wasn't much of a good guy. i just made a costume switch here, because this base model really captures a bit of brattiness that i've always associated with the young ms. mary for some reason. part four in an ongoing series. enjoy! comments appreciated. |
|
| DC Elseworlds Kallisti Style pt2 REPOST: Batgirl Kallisti DC Comics 2004/10/25 21:09 4604 7
the more i looked at the original i posted, i didn't like the mask. so i decided to rework this one a bit, and post it again. this is my version of Batgirl, or rather, the third version of my version. part 2 in a series of dc heroines i'm revamping, some with minor changes, others with much more radical ones. enjoy! comments appreciated |
|
| Dazzler Waits Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/10/14 12:18 3776 8
this base was singing to me in my sleep, asking to be manipped into Dazzler. so in the interest of me sleeping better at night, here she is... wonder who she's waiting on? Enjoy! commenst appreciated.. |
|
| Dazzler and Psylocke Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/6/19 5:48 4690 4
once again, a pose i couldn't pass up. too few pixels, but oh well. i think it turned out ok. |
|
| Daredevil Gender Switch Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/10/18 8:16 3893 2
OK, i don't know what happened to the original post, all i tried to do was add two words to the text... anyways, here's my female Daredevil, inspired partly by Tazman's recent SheDevil manip, and partly by this wonderful, if not a bit depressing base pic. Enjoy. |
|
| Comic Cover Challenge Kallisti Marvel Comics 2004/8/8 19:14 2999 6
that wonder man that WH posted the other day got me thinking about the old-school wonder man i remembered from reading west coast avengers when i was young. and this is what came of it... Enjoy... |
|
| Comeback Manip-- Obligatory WonderWoman Kallisti DC Comics 2007/5/5 20:49 4441 10
Hey guys! I've recently begun dabbling in manipping again, now that i have a machine that will behave at least half the time... looks like i'm a bit rusty! Everyone here has certainly progressed WAY beyond what i remember from the last time i posted here. I have some catching up to do!
This is just a basic Aria Giovanni WonderWoman job. Just making sure i still know how to do this...
Let me know what you think! |
|
| Clara Kent has a Secret... Kallisti DC Comics 2009/5/17 21:28 7080 3
So I got to thinking about Super Girl having Clark Kent's day job, and this is what I came up with. Model is known only as "Lia19". She's been "19" since 2003 |
|
| Catwoman: Got Milk? Kallisti DC Comics 2004/10/14 17:41 4452 8
ahh, if i have one main strength as a manipper, it's in finding clever base pics. i found this and immediately knew it would become catwoman. a simple quickie, but i think very effective. Enjoy! comments appreciated.. |
