this here is the interview round, but because Lady HM apparently doesn't like me much, she had our dear friend cammy do the interview.
i am very seriously considering changing my contestant from batgirl to cammy....prolly too late by now, though....
experimenting with fonts and captions, if it's too hard to read, let me know, i'll change it to a more readble font.
oh well. enjoy, and even though i did it, i still love cammy's expression in the last panel... 
i'll work on the smackdown round 2 pic in a bit. |

| My entry into the super summer smackdown, Frylock from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Shown here chillin in his front yard. This was fairly easy, it's Ben Affleck's face(from "Chasing Amy") on a box of McDonald's fries. Googled the house, made the door and "curtains" from scratch. |

the plot thickens! but really, i just love the idea of Cammy as a news anchoress. i was gonna have Chun-li be the weather girl, but decided, nahhh. i mean, yeah, Juli's a bit obscure Street fighter Chara, but i just like the design better.
And yeah, not as funny, but this is more of a connector piece, and a chance to bone up on my Photoshop skills. when i can get D/S to stop crashing, i'll do a pin-up of Cammy, and then do some more Batgirl. Sadly the next pic in the series has all Batgirl, no Cammy.

Still working on the costume, may make it less shiny. But after the important lesson from the Incredibles, I may dump the cape, possibly the skirt as well for the same reason that it may get hung on something and get snatched off anyway.  |

yep, just hadda get in a few good shots. my main issue with this one, is that i still can't get good speech bubbles, so any advice you got on that score, i'll be thrilled. There'll be a direct sequel as soon as i can.

But, lo and behold, NEW EVIDENCE shows that it was indeed Winterhawk under the Winterhawk mask! (Who knew he bore such a close resemblence to Andy Dick?!)

Powers/Abilities: Able to teleport dirty crockery and cutlery to their proper storage cupboards with a wave of his hands, cleaning them en route.
History: Mutated by years of washing radioactive fiestaware dishes, long-time comics fan Paul Mahler decided he had to use his "great powers" with "great responsibility" and designed a crimefighting costume, becoming the crimefighting Dishman. Unfortunately, finding crime to fight proved more difficult than he realised, people tended to laugh at his ridiculous costume, his power to clean dishes at a distance proved less than effective as a crime-busting tool, and his fianc?e ditched him because she felt he had become a lunatic.
Oops, forget to mention: Dishman is a Canadian superhero created by John MacLeod.  |
