It initially started out as a sketch of a co-worker that I did during a break but never got to finish because her boyfriend got jealous..after that I decided to make it into one of my own characters Beta but after scanning it in I opted for good ol' Emma Frost. Just having a bit bit of fun with some Star Wars stuff. This scene started out pretty good but as it became more complex I started having issues with it [crashed 8 times]. There were a lot more elements I wanted to add to it, but thought I'd better get a render in while I still could. It's not one of my best but then again other than my Spiderman vs Sinister Six piece, it's the only other full blown action scene I've done involving more than 2 or 3 characters. Hope you all appreciate the effort I go through for you H-Morphers.

For those of you who have yet to see DC's JLA:WAR it's Dc's first animated film featuring the New52 characters. I thought the movie was decent but it took a moment to get used to the new personas and designs. I was looking forward to seeing them in action especially the 52 Wonder Woman. Imagine my surprise when she appeared in a totally revamped version of her New52 design. I'll admit as hot as the comic version is, I liked the one in the movie. Which only made me wonder  ...why change it for the movie? Was it because of the negative press DC has received for the New52 WW costume? If so then does this mean she'll be adopting the revamped version for the comics? At any rate I loved the hell out of it and thought I'd make my own version and ask your opinion. Which do you like best?  |

Something I've been planning on doing ever since I picked up those Mechanical Arms for M3 [I always thought it would make for a really nice Shriek]. Plus it was another reason to break out my Batman Beyond figure. I was trying to recreate what it might feel like to be attacked with sound but really didn't pull it off to my own satisfaction.

| And finally, my favorite, my own Voltt. Took a little longer than I expected but considering what I had to work with I like the results. I'm not too crazy about his hair [it should be ash blonde] but the only good model I could find had black hair. I eased off the effects for this one for time's sake. The all together pic is still coming but probally not until after I finish my other projects. Enjoy! |

Cool thing about Unicorn characters is that all of them have history, even if no one but me and Taz know it,and which of course means that practically none of them originally looked like they do now. We created the bulk of our characters wayyy back in the 60s and 70s when we were in elementary school. yeah i know..that explains alot .
i thought it would be cool to show you guys how some of our characters looked originally. well at least thats the story im sticking to. lol |

| Something from a personal project I'm helping a friend with. Its for a series of Fantasy Horror stories for an upcoming website he and his buddies are building. he wants me to keep the name to myself until it's officially open. This may or may not be used on the site but he asked me to come up with something on short notice. This is about 19 hours of work. It took more time than I thought mostly because my PC was running really slow and loading and applying textures to Micheals Knights realm armor really got on my nerves not to mention I just wasn't at all satisfied with any of the pre-set lighting I had available..so I basically did this from scratch. If he approves of the image I'll go back and fine tune it more with some better bump maps and surface work. let me know what you think. |

| I haven't been inspired to do any posts lately so i figured i'd do something for the holiday. besides it was a good opportunity to use the very seldom used P4 Posette figure and some new props i picked up. This was more or less an experiment using the Fog Deluxe III item to simulate flame. I suppose i could have devoted more time to pose the flames better but like i said..the inspiration level is wayyy down. btw, no postwork done. |

| Its kinda bad that it took me to pay homage to the one comic character that started it all for me. Daredevil was the first superhero comic I ever read and eventhough I never liked the character much...it was by reading his mag that I was intriduced to the wide world of comicbook heroes. Before that I had only thought heroes were found on Saturday morning shows [even Supes and Bats]. Thanks to DD I not only joined the fraternity of comicbook geeks but I became obsessed with creating them too. Thanks for listening. |

| Ever since i first saw this green skinned beauty grace the pages of Warlock, drawn by the great Jim Starlin, ive had the hots for her. That whole "Deadliest Woman in the Galaxy" title really impressed me [the full length fishnet body stocking didnt hurt either. ]. i know she wears an updated costume now but this version is still my favorite. |

| Just picked up the Urban Sprawl 2 by Stonemason from DAZ and wanted to postsomething with it. Thumbed through some old comics and this image hit me from an old Fantastic Four. Not exactly an accurate reproduction but then it was never intended to be. Sweet thing about this image is that the only postwork done on it was adding the sparkles to Galactus' eyes.
