| Or is he a plant, that dreamed he was a man? LordKuyohashi 2013/3/24 7:08 1839 2
This might be old news to most, I only just heard: 'Parently, Guillermo del Toro's in line to do a movie based on Justice League Dark. Read a few issues, wasn't impressed (not really digging New 52, tbh.) but that might be because I have no idea who any of those people flipping are.
But then I hear the roster to be featured in this movie (called Dark Universe, or Heaven Sent, or something, btw), and now I give a damn. I mean, Etrigan, Constantine (who has to be played by Gordon g'ddamned Sumner or by nobody at all) and Swamp Thing, all in one movie? Why can I not just mail my money to Spain and save del Toro the trouble? |

Ahhh Omega Red: one of my favorite stupid villains of all time! Just doing what i can to make sure that the big guy is not forgotten. Hopefully i'll be able to get some finished artwork onto this site instead of these silly sketch book drawings (so i get to actually work out anatomy and composition! yay!) But for now, enjoy some communist russia style action! |

| Old Green Lantern drawing. VagabondX 2009/2/7 18:51 3007 5
This drawing is probably around 8 years old. This was done back when Wizard magazine had art contests. The contest was to draw the Kyle Rayner Green Lantern defeating Dr Light in an original way. I just sent in the black and white ink drawing since I didn't have photoshop back then but I did get one of the 20 1st runner up prizes which was really cool. I got some autographed comics. I found this recently and thought I would add some color. Just remember, the drawing is 8 years old.
I don't know how long Dr Light had this outfit but its the one he had during the contest and I can't find an image of it anywhere on the freakin' net to use for a color reference.
Oh and in case anyone has the issue of Wizard where they printed the winners, you won't see mine. They didn't print it! Maybe because it wasn't colored. |

Was googling Ivy cosplay and found a Harley/Ivy pic that was very much the naughty lil kittykat action. This popped in my head and I've been wanting to draw a gun for awhile anyways. |

| Nightwing outlaw2LK 2006/3/28 20:37 2594 2
I just remembered what the last Draw Off challenge was and found this pic I did of the older Nightwing. I think the challenge ran around something of seeing any hero or villain that's not already been given a storyline in the future. Now, I'm not sure whether this contest transferred over to GM, Bold, or C2F; but I was hoping to repost it since I don't see it in my listing for submitted work.
-backstory- A few years after Kingdom Come, Bruce had given up the mantle of the Bat and Dick Grayson temporarily taking up the role of Batman; Tim Drake wasn't getting any younger himself. He took on the role of Nightwing for a little while until Bruce found another suitable replacement for Batman. After all, even in his old age, Dick still didn't want to be in the shadow of the bat for too long and Tim was ready to retire himself. Soon after Terry McGuiness found his spot in the Batman legacy, Tim stuck around to make sure that Gotham was in good hands with the new Batman Beyond.
-- Anyhoot, enjoy.
I stuck to the Alex Ross method when creating this. Boy this is hard to do w/ a mechanical pencil!

| My opinion on DC's idea to retool their comics!! StarChild 2011/8/14 22:37 3042 5
I don't even buy comics anymore but even I have had it with the ridiculous money-grubbing tactics of the comics industry. I'm sure you've all heard by now of DC Comics plan to retool their entire comic line and start everything at #1. C'mon. Really? Are sales doing so bad that you have to do a 'HAPPY DAYS-jump the shark" tactic to boost interest? How about some fresh ideas? Really..to throw away all the history built up of your entire universe just to make sales. Thank god I don't have to worry about that. |

| My new Wonder Woman Costume v1.0 dlfurman2 2010/7/4 18:34 3985 6
Well some folks love it, whilst some folks hate and despise it. I've read the reasons why and I don't mind it.
But if YOU had to redesign Wonder Woman's costume. what would you do??? This is my take and I may revise it, but here it is.
Props by Tyler Mcdowell
What would YOU do? |

For those who don't know. The multi-hued fellow on the left is a Batman villain called Killer Moth. The portly fellow is Arthur. Sidekick to the Tick. Let me know if this dialogue is too vague. |
