For the cover challenge I wanted to combine vintage DC logos and modern characters. Arisia and Katma were two of the many alien Green Lanterns that visited Earth. I got lucky finding good flying poses so the only frakensteining I did was changing their arms and hair. The background, shuttle and astronauts were all found using Alta Vista image search.

| I liked how my last 'movie still' came out so I thought I'd knock up another one. I've always envisioned that a Wonder Woman film would end in a climatic battle between her and Ares on the cliffs of her home island whilst Amazons and Men unite against the armies of Ares invading the island, so I decided to make this shot look like the aftermath of that final battle sequence with a victorious yet battered and bruised Diana reflecting the event. Well here is my Catwoman, This manip has was about 90% done and I almost scrapped it. Glad I went back to it.
Anyway, It is now finished, I am fairly proud of this one.

I was looking through my collection of *ahem* base pics (yeah, that's why I downloaded them...), and planned on using Aimee as Jean Grey, but when I saw this picture with the trees and the pale skin, Poison Ivy jumped out at me.
Not sure if I like the wrinkles or not, this might be another one I return to when I'm more experienced. Once again, feedback/advice welcome. |

| This is my latest piece. I loved the way this unknown model resembled PG. The whole thing with the flames was an afterthought, just to make it seem like more than just a static pose. You guys may have seen this one before...
This was sort of a redo of my first pic. Drew Barrymore as Harley again, with a base photo taken from the same photo session. I think it's a bit better than the first one. :)
I first cleaned up the base pic. The costuming was then done the usual way (for future reference, this means: colour change, burn and dodge, smudge, add wrinkles + seams with yet more b&d and smudging). Any shading or lighting that's in the costume is my work, cause the base pic had really, really bland lighting. The background was done in Bryce, all from scratch, and smudged to get the painted look. The photo of Harley and Ivy was a separate manip. I reused it for another pic, as you will see... or will have already seen, likely. |
