A cool comicbook series and an even cooler movie. I've been wanting to do a render using the Aliens and Predator for sometime now and finally thanks to a friend for directing me to these cool Alien drone models, I was able to do so.
I did a little tweaking with the Aliens because I thought the skin texture they came with was really crappy. I was attempting to set a similar mood to the one in the movie. I actually did 2 different camera angles of this with some slightly different poses in the second one which I will be posting a little later. Thanks for viewing.

| Another one of the original ladies of Unicorn Comics. Gwen Chin Lao has been kicking major butt in the UC universe for a long time and looks just as lovely now as she did wayyyy back then. Tiger Lily not only is a master of several forms of martial arts but she also happens to come from a secret village called Kem Ta tha dwells in another dimension [sounds kinda familiar dont it?]. While other female martial artists are depicted as soft natured individuals who abhore violence..TL's the exact opposite. She loves a good scrap now and then. Although shortlived. I always thought this was one of the cooler versions of Spiderman. Really surprising with all the great artists here that no one has done a 3D image of the so-called Iron Spiderman. Here's one for the archives. Enjoy.

My own special farewell to one of my first childhood heartthrobs. It was Yvonne's portrayal of Batgirl that first made me take true notice of female superheroes. No matter how skimpy the outfits, or how ample the assets of todays TV and Movie superheroines..Yvonne will always be the first and best in my book. Peaceful Journey, Barbara.  |

| My favorite Unicorn character creation. Tantrum is actually a tribute to my eldest daughter Tiffani Bell [even carrying her actual name]. Possessing super strength, invulnerability and a never surrender attitude, Tantrum is perhaps the strongest female in UC Comics. Much like the Hulk her strengths grow as her anger does..and she gets angry quite often. My partner Henry Samson is responsible for the battlesuit costume design and I am glad to have recreated it in this media. Tantrum is the first in a series of images I'm posting as a tribute to some of my first and favorite female characters of the Unicorn Universe. | here's mine although this isnt an official challenge i thought it might be better to put it here. if you mods have a problem with it feel free to move it to a gallery of your choosing. as you see i had nowhere near the same influences as pijon...but e did relate on a couple and just like him i had nowhere near enough room to put all my choices. i wasn't sure if i was supposed to adhere to the guidelines of the map so i toook a few liberties with mine. hope you like and feel free to ask about my choices. |

Just one last test render using Ratteler's great armor. This is an image I've had in the back of my mind for sometime but until now I couldn't find any decent Iron Man armor. All elements done in DAZ 2.0 only some slight smudge work in post.Thanks once again for the Amazing Armor.

| I recently found out that one of my new neighbors is a "closet" sci-fi freak who likes to write his own stories. He's pretty protective about his stuff but for some reason decided to let me browse through some of his works. One particular storyline caught my attention titled "Desolation Quest" about a young StellarKnight named Vara Kandor who is on a mission to stop a mysterious force that is destroying planets. | Thought I give you guys a look at my next book project for Darkside Graffix/Unicorn Comics. The book's called Double-Play and of course its a team-up title. I know I have several other projects yet unfinished but this is a story I've been wanting to do since it was written back in the 90's. I'm about 4 pages into this 12 page book [Part 1 of 3] and will probally start posting them when i reach the halfway point. The stars of this book are Tiger Lily and Nita, plus guest appearances by Felinea and Sheba. Not only was she originally patterned after the actress, Pam Grier [whom i had many a sexual fantasy about] but she was the very first female hero I created. Sheba lives a dual life as both a hard nosed private investigator [coincidentally she uses the last name Shane] but her most important role being that of America's premiere secret agent as well as the love interest of Sam Savage. Sheba's a flamboyant person who has an eye for both fashion and covert operations. Sometimes she makes me wanna be the bad guy just so she can chase me around. I think that right after a certain radioactive spider-bite..the debut of a pint-sized, claw wielding berserker from Canada [aka Weapon X] ranks a pretty good second. This is my rendition of that moment that introduced the world to one of it's most popular heroes.
