| The Scorpion is a Ditko pose in poser, Goblin is a manipped Bowen Designs statue and the Lizard is part Frankensteined things and a velociraptor head from Jurassic Park. The base pic of the street and buildings was really pixelated because it was taken from a screen capture of a TV show. I put 4 cars on the street and removed some that were there. I added 50 fleeing people on the street, a pedestrian crossing sign and a couple of traffic lights, six pigeons and I added room interiors on 3 of the windows on the building on the right. That's me in the window pointing at Spider-man. I didn't spend too much time on each of the smaller characters because I was going to blur them and the details wouldn't be visible at the size they would be displayed. I wanted the only images with details to be Spider-man and the Vulture |

| because the mighty Winterhawk demanded it: here's my version of Black Cat. i fiddled with this for a long time, decided to give up the white hair... i had the idea for a pink/black color combo for a while... the leopard print was almost an afterthought, heh. enjoy! comments appreciated... who should i do next? |

Oldie. Rebecca Romjin Stamos. I think this is one of my favourite of my own manips.
Additional Art Notes: Well, it was about a week, and over 120 layers in the making, but finally here we have Rebecca Romjin Stamos as Barbara Norris aka Brunhilde aka Valkyrie. Starting with an image of RRS standing in what looked like a wheat field, first thing i did was remove out the original collar line of her swim costume. Now it was time to start the suit. I had a couple of attempts before I decided on what you see here. I used the faux leather texture to fill a new layer. I colorized this layer blue, then cut away the extra to leave only the areas that would be the suit With the initial cutting complete, I duplicated this layer twice. the original layer's mode was set to color. the second layer's mode was set to burn at 25% opacity. the third layer's was set to multiply at 75% opacity (obviously i had a bit of experimenting, but these produced the best results. The metals were all created with various layers of gradient fills and the burn tool. The cape was attempted using one of the tutorials Dperciful posted to the hints'n'tips thread(here: http://www.comics2film.com/UBB/Forum7/HTML/002595.html) Added additional texturing to the resultant material. The background is actually three seperate photo's of the Highlands up areound Ullapool - The sky and big hill is a layer, castle ardvreck & the water & hill on the right another layer, and the grass closest at the bottom on a third layer. I actually went as far as texturing Dragonfang (seen behind the title) before I remembered in this piece it would be in a scabard which is bound with rectangles with a deformed leather texture as is the sword handle. The font is Skeksis.

A man had a bad case of stuttering. He went to many doctors over the years, but none of them could help him. Finally one doctor said to him "I believe I found the reason for your stuttering".
The man asked, "Wha.. wha.. wha..what is my pro.. pro.. problem."
The doctor replied, "Your penis is very, very large. The weight of your penis is causing a strain on your larynx, and this results in your stuttering. The only solution to this is to perform a penis transplant." The man was really tired of his stuttering, so he agreed to a transplant. Several days later the doctor called the man up and informed him that they have found a suitable donor. The transplant operation was successfully performed and the man could speak without any stutter.
At first he was happy, but after a while he began to miss his large penis, and how the girls used to love it. He finally went back to his doctor and said, "Doctor, I am grateful for the opportunity you have given me to speak without a stutter, but I miss my old penis. Please find the transplant donor and tell him that we have to exchange penises back..."

The model is Natasha Henstridge of ???????She Spies.??????? While there are a lot of pics of her on the www, there are none I could find of her in flight. This pose was Frankensteined together from 8 different pictures, all of Natasha. So several hours went into this before I even got to the costume stage.

| I suppose I don't need to tell anyone here this, but drawing people in spandex is hard! Anyway, here is another of my "casting call" pics. I like Jennifer in this role because while she's really hot, she could still pull off that sort of matronly look. I thought about putting her in some sort of background, but I like the idea that she's still casting a shadow, and the white backing helps pull that off. I am having a lot of fun with this, but I swear, you guys make this look too easy. Comments? Critisisms? I would love to hear either. |

| Inspired by the sassy, sexy Cat that appears in the Spider-Man 2 video game. A lot of frankensteining went into this, but I did all of the hair and fur by hand(by mouse..?), as well as some of the shinies in her outfit. I am pretty happy with it overall, though my edges are still rough, and the cat looks fake. |

Ok, I wanted to do a follow up to my Elektra/Loss Adjuster pic for a while now, and when I found this pic of Cindy Crawford I immediately thought it would make a great base for She-Hulk, Jennifer Walters.
The source image was a bit messy so I had to do some tidying before I began. The first thing I did was to broaden the shoulders and deepen the chest using the free deform tool. This was then blended back into the original image. I then created a mask of 'shulkie' so I could keep things neat later. The background is created from scratch over the original murky black curtain. I used some mauve gradient fills to create a floor/wall join and to provide some lighting. I used the same effect to create the window behind 'shulkie' making a faux 3d effect to frame the image of new york street signs I found on google. The spidey is taken from a pic of a statue of him peeking in another window. I shaded him to make him darker and as if lit from the room. Over spidey and the street seen I created a glass pane using the noise filter then motion and gausian blur to give it some interest, and a white/black gradient to make it look shiny. The brief case was another google find which to which I added Walters stenciling and a shadow and floor reflection to blend it with the image.
All pretty simple stuff, but I just wanted to make sure I kept my basic skills up during a dry creative spell |
