This was initally meant to be a pick me up for a post that Firey left at MySpace. The project took too long so I let it lie until I read the above quote on the "Supergirl - The Movie (Remake)" thread.
The background is a photo from Yahoo. The face is from Firey's website. The body is the "Jesse" model from Poser 6. And the costume is regular photoshopping techniques. The motion trail is from Eye Candy 4000. Not high art but a good warmup for some hair I have to redo on my next post. |

Finally I'm done with this! I've been working on this since January! Aaaah!!
Well anyways, let's see... Freeze's face is a composite of Ben Kingsley, C2F owner: Robbo, Ralph Fiennes, Clint Eastwood, and probably a bunch of other people. All the bodies were originally rendered in Poser, however, I covered most of freeze up with photos I took myself (arms, legs, hands, etc), and the others were just completely replaced by photos courtesy of my pal Adam as the GU guy, my friend Janel as both the girls (ssh!) and myself as the guard
So yeah, I want to send out a huge thanks to Hughes and Janel for taking the time to photo themselves... I would also like to thank DCG artists Essex, B, Bill Turner, and Lamor112, my good friend Nathan and whoever else I've accidently forgotten. |

| The model is Jessica Van Der steen. Had to redo the top of her head since it got cut off in the scan & added some highlights to her hair,lipstick, and eyes. The cape was kinda of a pain. Decided on the background after changing between 4 different ones for an hour. Also changed her skin tone to look more tanned. |

Haven't posted a pic in awhile...
This pic was an exercise in spandex, inspired by the spandex queen MisVee.
Body by DAZ, some elements of real spandex franked, some flat grey layers with film-grain added and selectively erased, dodge, burn and paint....
(damnit... she made it look easy!)
I have a lot to learn so rest assured, next time I see a woman in spandex I will study her very closely.  |

| When I did this one, I had NO clue who the character was. I did it from a reference pic sent by a fan as a request. I still don't think I've ever read a book with her in it as a hero (She had a cameo in the New Teen Titans a while back, but she wasn't in costume). Still, I like the way the leather turned out. |
