My all time favorite comic book character...Clarice Ferguson...AKA...Blink.

Work Done: Lots of fun work here. The original picture had the strange metallic costume already...it was an advertisement for makeup. So I changed it from silver to gold around the neck and green for the body. Mostly to follow after the gold and green little dress thing she wears in the comics. Changed her skin colour from normal flesh colour to Blinks beautiful Lavender colour. Her hair colour from Brown...to Blinks more pinkish auburn colour. (Although in the later comics it's just pink...wasn't always that way). Changed her eyes to white since thats what they were originally in the comics. (Not the strange green colour)...added the arm bands, and her spiffy facial markings..and I made her ears all pointy.

Okay, obscure character time, but I couldn't resist when I saw the base pic as an advert for Game Boy Advanced. Vincente has always been a favorite of mine that was criminally underused. He was in the 4 issues of the Age of Apocalypse based Generation Next, then vanished from the radar. This version has the young Jeremy Irons cast in the role. Dunno why but he seemed to suit.
A real quicky this one, taking an hour or so rather than a month or so that it seems to have taken me recently. ;) |

I already produced one version of this image here - http://heromorph.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=3956 but wasn't entirely happy with the way it turned out, so this is the amended version.
It will be going towards the final Generation X team manip, which I'm in the final stages of completing. Perfectionism means I keep going back to change things. ;) |

| Okay, this is my first photomanip ever, and I know it's probably not very good, but I'm just excited that I actually did it! Thanks to Black Alchemy for the start to finish tutorial, it was great. Comments welcome, tips greatly appreciated! The dodge tool wasn't working correctly on the black... is that why people say black and white are the hardest to do? I havent posted anything for a while now, and this was just me trying to get something in.HAHA.
I found this awesome base pic on a Russian site, and the background from Google. After some tricks and alot of patience, here ya go.
Peter always seemed to find a nice dark alley to change in before going on patrol, and this pic is very faithful to the comic version of Spidey. There are no raised webs, or fancy schmancy textures, just old-fashioned Spiderman, in his essence.

| I finally did one of old Sin. I was bumbling around Google, and found a pic of Willem Dafoe, and I immediately started this project. It only took about 3 hours, from start to finish. I think it looks killer. I had to create the entire chest from scratch. This is my last one for the week. Enjoy!!!! |

Another of the figures I'm working on for a complete Generation X team shot, I felt this one again stood up by it's own merits.
Everett's actor is J. August Richards from the Angel TV show, while the costume combines a few dozen layers of Daredevil, various leather motorcycling gear and protective armor.
The 'rainbow' effect was created using the Gradient Glow and HSB Noise filters in Photoshop Eye Candy. |
