| Finally got around to watching John Carter the other night. Not bad, not good. While I knew Disney would not/could not present the fabulous Dejah Thoris as I had seen her in many a Frank Frazetta painting I still wanted to see her as I remembered [half naked and hot as hell]. Needless to say I had to take matters in my own hand. ENJOY! |

| Recreating Princess Gamma in 3D took a lot more out me than usual mostly because I wanted to keep her design as close to the original 2D version as possible without doing a lot of texture and trans mapping so I looked around for the parts and peices to make it work. PG is basically your typical amazon warrior woman from another planet who kicks major ass...but she holds a special place in the Unicorn universe because shes also the first and perhaps only bi-sexual hero we have. |

Forgot i had this in my saved scenes. Started out as a Volley ball match between Powergirl/Wonder Woman vs She Hulk/Thundra, but I couldn't find a volleyball net prop to use so I put it on the shelf. Decided to just render the figures I had done already and call it a day.
I'm pretty sure no one will complain. |

It initially started out as a sketch of a co-worker that I did during a break but never got to finish because her boyfriend got jealous..after that I decided to make it into one of my own characters Beta but after scanning it in I opted for good ol' Emma Frost. Nothing special just enjoy! |

| Briana was a thief of thieves. The young Vanir had robbed many lords and commoners from Aquilonia to Zamora using her cunning but most often her sword arm. She had never failed to capture her prize. When she heard of the one treasure that no man had ever stolen, the Eye of the Nirad, she swore it would be hers. Nirad was a giant cyclops demon who terrorized Hyrkania before the fall of Atlantis and was said to possess demonic powers and said to be the king of the dead, but what was most interesting about him was that his one eye was a huge gem said to worth a king's fortune. After his death his body decayed from the passage of time sat upon his throne in his cave tomb but his jewel eye remained intact. When Briana asked why no one had ever claimed it she was told grisly stories of those who tried and never returned. Unmoved by the fairy tales she set out to find the Eye. To her surprise she found the eye and secured it with relative ease..but to her dismay she found out that leaving the tomb with it in her possession was another matter all together. |

| One for the Bad Girls! Don't be fooled by Luela's pets, she's twice as ferocious as both of them put together. I guess wearing an enchanted amulet that allows you to assume the form of any animal will do that. Luela's a member of a group of time-displaced space pirates called The Outcasts and although she plays a supporting role in the group she is by far the most cunning. Not only does Luela entice men with her feminine whiles before literally ripping thier hearts out, but she also played a major role in history by assuming the form of the Egyptian Asp that gave Cleopatra her fatal bite. Since youve already seen her work clothes I decided to dress her for the occassion [invading an enemy island with her STARS teammates that is]. Now this is what I truly call a day at the beach. Something from a personal project I'm helping a friend with. Its for a series of Fantasy Horror stories for an upcoming website he and his buddies are building. he wants me to keep the name to myself until it's officially open. This may or may not be used on the site but he asked me to come up with something on short notice. This is about 19 hours of work. It took more time than I thought mostly because my PC was running really slow and loading and applying textures to Micheals Knights realm armor really got on my nerves not to mention I just wasn't at all satisfied with any of the pre-set lighting I had available..so I basically did this from scratch. If he approves of the image I'll go back and fine tune it more with some better bump maps and surface work. let me know what you think.  |

For those of you who have yet to see DC's JLA:WAR it's Dc's first animated film featuring the New52 characters. I thought the movie was decent but it took a moment to get used to the new personas and designs. I was looking forward to seeing them in action especially the 52 Wonder Woman. Imagine my surprise when she appeared in a totally revamped version of her New52 design. I'll admit as hot as the comic version is, I liked the one in the movie. Which only made me wonder  ...why change it for the movie? Was it because of the negative press DC has received for the New52 WW costume? If so then does this mean she'll be adopting the revamped version for the comics? At any rate I loved the hell out of it and thought I'd make my own version and ask your opinion. Which do you like best? |

I've always wondered why this match-up had never been explored in comics [well actually hoped it would]. Seems like a perfect team-up to me. Perhaps the two supreme female fighters in DC and Marvel. Who wouldn't love to see these to deadly beauties either teaming up to kick ass or better yet go toe-to-toe and put to rest who's the best!
