| The AntiSocial man & The Temporal Guard TemporalDave 2011/5/9 22:04 2669 3
Original characters from the ongoing saga of my comic book The AntiSocial Man. Although I created the character in 1995, I finally had opportunity to produce this group pic in 2008 for GraphicMouse website's DrawOff contest - "Temporal characters". Here is a 'brief' story description: In a startlingly close future, civilisation crumbles beneath the weight of its own decay. Crime and civil unrest have become beyond the world's governments' abilities to maintain or control, leading them to seek a new option to police their society and enforce their rule. A team of elite scientists are assembled and through experimental genetic engineering set about creation of the first 'Neo-Human" - an example of man's evolutionary peak. "The Solution" to the world's problems. The governments now had they're own personal one-man army, and "The Solution" as he was aptly dubbed, found fulfilment in his preconcieved fate as the world's saviour. But soon enough The Solution became the new problem for the world's leaders - and he was betrayed. Fearing the power and public poplularity of their creation, these leaders of men convicted The Solution of a variety of invented crimes, encasing him in a function-built prison cell deep underground - without the possiblity for parole. Decades later, reborn in his solitudal turmoil as The AntiSocial Man, he breaks free of his cage and climbs to the surface to make his return, and gain his revenge. When AntiSocial Man rises however, he quickly discovers an entirely different Earth to the one he knew. The time of man has ended, apparent victims of themselves. Buildings fall into ruin, as nature reasserts a powerful stranglehold on the remains of human civilisation. While hunting the plague proportions of monstrous animal mutations which infest the rubble of the cities, ASM is suddenly engulfed in an eerie green glow as temporal energy absorbs him and The AntiSocial Man is flung through time. ASM awakens in the far-distant future, surrounded by strange oddly-constructed robotic creatures and is informed he has an entirely different, completely unexpected fate. During this time AntiSocial Man discovers burgeoning new time-manipulation abilities - which have resulted from his initial interaction with the temporal energies. The nature of ASM's genetic advancements enable his body to adjust to and evolve past almost anything he encounters - and this effect has enabled him to retain vast amounts of temporal force from his time-travel experience. These new powers soon attract the interest of an organised team of timeline enforcers desperate to recruit AntiSocial Man to assist them in their efforts to stand against a phenomenal threat to the universe. And that's the short version. |

Since, "The Claw" takes some inspiration from "The Foot," I thought that I should have my own version of "Foot Soldiers." So, I give you, "The Badmen," the robotic army of the evil Claw organization. |

Design originally by me, but my design sucked, so it was improved by an artist named Songwut Ouppakarndee. You can find his stuff by searching for "arseniquez", he's simply brilliant. |

| The Christian: Redesign VagabondX 2007/10/25 6:50 2055 4
Many of you here have seen my character The Christian. http://heromorph.com/heromorph2/modules/myalbum3/photo.php?lid=2512 I've never been pleased with the design of him(much less the art but thats another story). I fear he evokes too much of Snake-eyes from G.I.Joe with the visor/goggles look and the dark blue outfit. I wanted his design to bring to mind how powerful he must be and hopefully even a couple of people might think it a cool design on its own but I don't feel the original look does that so I took a shot at a redesign. I went for an armored look this time. I think it looks cooler but that could just be because its new. I'll have to wait and see how it looks to me in a week. |

Dunno what I''m doing with these lately, maybe nothing. But I thought I'd share what lives in my head.
Been playing a wicked amount of Killer Instinct on my laptop lately, got the wheels turning, and I came up with an idea for a monster-based combo-fighter of my own, thought I'd showcase some of the more passible concepts my poor addled mind birthed forth. |

| The Cricketeer! VagabondX 2007/8/20 22:43 2343 9
I've been seeing lots of crickets around lately. They are one of the few insects that don't give me the creeps and I thought, "Why are there no cricket superheroes?" Probably because the cricket can't do anything much on the cool side. Doesn't climb walls, shoot webs etc. But MAN can those little things JUMP! This guy, The Cricketeer, can jump like a mile when he really has to. He has slightly tougher skin than most humans. About as tough as plywood maybe. Seemed like the right toughness to be in proportion to a carapace. He can also tell what the weather is going to do before it happens...hm, there's his alter ego right there. TV weatherman! I don't know if thats a real ability of the insect but there are rumors about it. And he can produce a loud chirping noise that can stun bad guys. Or annoy coworkers. Whichever is needed. Although, if he did it around his coworkers it would defeat the whole secret identity thing so scratch that. Oh yeah, he can communicate with real crickets.
Not an epic hero but a fun one. |

| The Cruel Fate of Clowning 1,5 Aghorishaivite 2012/8/17 11:24 1659 1
A continuation of the adventure with English Damsel of DA
:thumb311879553: [link]
Colonel Cruel and his drones had spent the day establishing their base on the new secluded island they were going to call home for the remainder of 2012. Looking up key coordinates in the world for the major war the Colonel planned, the drones were quite amused with how simple the time period's technology was to hack into. Tomorrow, about ten major countries would be aiming missiles towards each other unexpected. If Cruel could get enough panic, he was sure he could immediately get a country riled up enough to bring out the nukes. READ MORE ?? |

| The Cruel Fate of Clowning 2: Like Toy Soldiers Aghorishaivite 2012/8/17 11:29 1863 1
The world was in a panic. Ten major countries had released missiles at important cities all over the glove. Each of the countries claimed that the attacks were an accident, which hardly anyone believed. As the world saw famous leaders and military generals arguing amongst each other, many were certain that another world war was eminent.
One person was not convinced that these missiles could have been launched purposely by the countries accused of launching them. The countries were all known to be sworn enemies of each other. How could they have known that all of them would attack, without warning, at the same time? There had to have been a secret party behind all of this. Something was fishy.
The unconvinced person investigating the matter and searching for the truth was White Owl, a superheroine living in one of the cities that had been attacked- Queen City.
