| SPAWN KER1 2006/7/14 6:28 2132 6
I did this i think last year or the year before in a friends sketchbook. . . .i wanted to give him more of a creepy edge, with the spine showin' and all dat. . . . . I like usin' markers sometimes more than the computer .. . I used Pantone markers and 1 colored pencil on this piece. |

| Hell Girl WebGeek 2006/7/15 18:56 2126 5
Havent' Colored for a while. This showed up in the random picture box - it was posted by Vampire Lover with a note of any takers? So here is my shot... Nice to get the crayons out! Not sure of the artist... |

I loved this picture, so I had to give it a try. |

| Tick story VagabondX 2006/7/16 15:07 2179 4
New England Comics put out a call for pencilers a few years ago by printing a two page script in the back of one of their comics for people to illustrate. This was my attempt. The originals were on that comic book art board. |

| LOBSTER JOHNSON KER1 2006/7/17 7:39 1994 3
Well I'm i HUGE Hellboy fan and of course most of the characters are pretty kool too! I was gonna do a series of the characters from the books to convert into icons for folders and stuff. . . . so i wanted to do them entirely in the computer wiyth no line work over them, but JEEZ talk about time consuming? So i only got around to doin' Lobster Johnson. . . hopefully I'll get around to the others! |
|
| OPTIMUS: Ghettofab KER1 2006/7/18 6:45 1923 3
As I've said before I've always liked applying the style of the GRAFFITTI world to alot of these characters. . . . and i always have a blast with it!. . . . This was the partner design for the Megatron! |
|
| ELMER'S REVENGE KER1 2006/7/18 6:47 2718 10
Well many years ago I worked for a licensed apparel company in Florida and we were doin' SO many damned Bugs Bunny designs that i just got fed up with him and felt it was time that Elmer finally took his ass out!!!!. . . . . It felt good :) |

This is the main character and villain from the Berserk manga and anime. |

| Draw Off: No Erase VagabondX 2006/7/18 22:42 2198 5
Here's another entry in the draw off. This one was hard for me to resist doing any erasing on. I actually caught myself reaching for the eraser at one point. It was that left leg. This is some anonymous jungle lady. What was the hardest for me was to not use the contrast tool in photoshop. I usually do that to darken my pencils and its become almost a reflex. |
|
| HELLBOY-'06 KER1 2006/7/19 6:18 1868 2
Well as I've said before on some of my other pieces, I'm a HUGE Hellboy fan! So I'm sure I'll be doin' more and more of the big guy. . I had fun with this piece and am happy with the outcome. . . |

| Contrasts in vengeance. VagabondX 2006/7/20 16:40 2263 5
A teamup that seems made to order. The similarities of these two are too good to pass up while the contrasts make it a perfect match. Both wield dual pistols, both somewhat supernatural, both garbed in flowing cloak type thingies and both prey on the evil of society. Man/woman, white clothing/black clothing. Seemed like a cool image in my head. And for those who don't know them. The lady is Dark Horse comics' Ghost and the gent is the pulp vigilante of the 30's/40's the Shadow. |

| THE DARK BOY RETURNS KER1 2006/7/21 7:17 1983 4
Just a little HOMAGE to TWO of the guys I think stepped the game up in the comic industry, guys who gave us something GREAT to read AND enjoy visually! |
|
| HELLBOY JR. KER1 2006/7/21 7:23 2145 5
I basically took the little logo on the Hellboy Jr. comics and gave it a 3D look in photoshop. Love the character and thought he was perfect as an icon on my desktop so that's it! |

| The Crow: Red Death VagabondX 2006/7/22 20:06 1901 1
I've always wondered why there haven't been more female Crow characters so I came up with my own. I don't have much of a backstory for her except that, because of her red hair she earns the nickname 'The Red Death'. |
|
| Green Hornet and Kato VagabondX 2006/7/23 19:42 2452 7
I enjoyed the short lived 60's show and I can't wait to see what they do with the characters in the rumored movie. Although I'm worried about it also. |
|
| Warrior Nun VagabondX 2006/7/24 20:37 2841 6
I've always liked the design of Ben Dunn's Warrior Nun Areala character so I wanted to do a drawing of her. I intentionally made the head overly large as somewhat of an homage to Mr. Dunn's style.
P.S. This is the last of the artwork I already had in my computer that I wanted to submit. I'll continue to post stuff I do that I'm happy with but it won't be quite as often as it has been. I'm sure the moderators will be relieved. I appreciate their patience with me. |

This was a limited edition print that I did in College. I don't remember the meaning of it because I was never heart broken in college. Who know... but anyway. It is a lithograph and my run was 9 prints (I think) |

| Leather or Fur? Draw Off VagabondX 2006/8/16 18:11 2108 2
The world's most famous capybara! The Tick's beloved animal sidekick, Speak! Ok, so he(?) isn't so super but he is the pet of a superhero. Ah crap, are we allowed to use color in the Draw Off? |
