Ya just gotta love her guys...she's a total badass and the hottest looking hero since Red Sonja. I thought about having her beating up some thugs but..well..I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this version instead. |

30 years later and the Bat hadn't upgraded the security in the cave...so Riddler got in again...
and who'd a thunk it, used the same traps...again.

Barbara Gordon as Batgirl in mask and belt by cage.
Tim Drake as Robin with belt by Muskateer graphics.
Matches, Tallow, Query and Echo updated for more modern looks with weapons from Daz.

Back in 1973, the Super Friends went on a mission in deep space to clean up a planet and save it from its inhabitants' own short-sightedness. After ridding the planet of its pollution, they left the alien world in peace.*
Now decades later, a small squad is sent to check on the progress of this tiny world.
Fortunately, the alien race no longer polluted their planet. Unfortunately, their new methods of producing energy left them a tad less stable.

For this piece, I wanted to do something with more action -- I've done plenty of pin-up style images, it was time to move towards more narrative. I wanted the image to look like something that could be on the cover of a comic.
Additionally, I pushed for a more painterly look, overpainting almost every element in the image. |

Are you ready for September 2011? Apparently this is the once again "NEW" look for DC's new timeline for Wonder Woman. (once again) Is this going to be yet another "alternate timeline?" or is this going to be the real deal? Probaly run for a bit, then go back to the old costume. (once again)
I used Daz's V4 with unified bodysuit, and my own texturing. Many thanks to Cosplay for your "WW" items!

Ok, so I had a crazy idea to try to recreate a Comic/Fantasy image with a touch of Ye Ole Renaissance Era paintings style.
(At least, this is as close as I come to fantasy art.)
Also, this is my first real attempt to create unique lighting in Daz Studio, no presets used in this one.
You can clearly see Inspiration drawn from such masterpieces as
Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus" and da Vinci's "Mona Lisa"
I wanted to do a more time consuming piece before the Holidays, as family life and stuff will require me to take a brief 3-4 month sabbatical
to assist with some familial difficulties. (Kinda sucks, since I was hoping to be available for the Secret Santa this year...but family comes first)
So if'n I don't get to post again before the new year, don't fret. All you fans of tremendous eye strain can look forward to more over-prosed posts
in the coming year.
To all those Heromorphers who've kept me coming back again and again for a quick laugh, some great art, and the frequent JR jokes...
Have a great holiday season (Turkey-Day, Hanukkah, X-Mas, New Years, Valentine's day, President's Day, etc.)

I've been wanting to do a proper Power Girl image for quite sometime, but the versions I came up with using V3 just looked like crap. I'm never one to toot my own horn, but I think this turned out rather well. What do you guys think? |
