| The Gronok are a race of advanced dinosaurs, nicknamed Saurs (I nickname the despise incidentally) they are massive in stature towering at 10 feet in height or more. Their weight is equally impressive often tipping the scales at well over 1,000 lbs. Their technology is equal to the galactic standard and their 27 colonies are a testament to their highly advanced terraforming techniques. They are a peaceful species save for the more aggressive raptors who are short tempered and quick to take offense to even imagined slights . They are not fond of dragons or dragonfolk though there thus far is no apparent reason. Gronok females are nearly indistinguishable from the males save for their muted coloration and slightly smaller size. Gronk's are as one might suspect super strong capable of carrying loads weighing up to 3 hundred of pounds as easily as most humanoids would 30. The Gronok are one of the more newer species recently discovered in the five galaxies but they remain within the Andromeda borders. |

| When designing a bridge I usually start with a Trekkie type design. Captain center of everyone and navigation in a forward position all the other stations can be wherever although I like the idea of having tactical behind the captain's chair. But this one was a little different. I had to add elements of an Egyptian culture and still keep it sci-fi. Some Stargate props sure helped out and make for great aesthetics. |

The Black Mantis has asked me to accompany him to, of all things, a slave market. I despise slavery no matter whether it's legal in some systems or not.
"What's the big idea? You know how I feel about this sort of thing."
"So there is a line you do not cross?"
"You know there is."
"In that case, you'll probably hate what comes next."
As we gaze out of the windows a massive Hadean drags out a small blue figure scantily clad in no more than a couple of flimsy cloths. As he chains the small humanoid to the struts on the left and right it becomes obvious that the creature is humanoid...and female. I feel a hand on my wrist as the Black Mantis stops me from subconsciously reaching for my gun. I hate Hadeans and this one I just want to kill where he's standing. I turn to the Black Mantis and ask:
"Why the hell did you bring me here? Is this some twisted game you're playing or what?"
"No son, this is a test to see how you handle impossible situations. You can't kill everyone here, many of which are innocent bystanders, but I'm guessing the do gooder in you won't let this continue either so now you have to make a decision. Leave with your tail between your legs or..."
He doesn't get to finish the sentence, before I start bidding. What transpires next has to make history...every stinking sentient that comes down the ramp i pay dearly for and have them transported aboard my ship to be returned to their homeworld or wherever the hell they want to be dropped of...with a few credits in their pockets.
The Black Mantis only wanted to see if I was a hero...Bastard...I'll be back here alright...and that Hadean...I get his name oh yes and one dark night in a shadowy room I ma gonna pay him a visit. For now all the slaves are freed save one...the blue female from the first bid. One of my officers calls me stating she does not wish to be free...Dafuq? What creature in their right mind doesn't WANT to be free? I conclude my business with the Black Mantis and flip him off for good measure rotten bastard that is the last time he ever asks me for a favor, I knew it was going to bite me in the ass. On board my new ship (I gave the Lillun to Harley)I am greeted in the EMT room by none other than the little blue...demon? at only 4 feet tall she is gorgeous as all get out. Two small horns sweep backwards from her forehead and she's not wearing a stitch of clothing...this is gonna be one of those days.
"I am here to serve you master."
"Alright, which one of you brain children, let her up here, and naked yet?"
There's not the tiniest snicker from anyone...I am not pleased. I avert my eyes as best I can and order this ...this...demon to follow me. Jaws drop and eyes quickly turn away as I march her to a replication unit to be scanned and fitted for some decent clothes. I had the items to her an the look on her face is nothing but confusion. What the hell is so confusing about getting dressed I wonder...and no sooner does that though form in my head when she blurts out.
"You wish me to cover myself master? Will that not make it more difficult to pleasure you?"
One lone gafaw escapes a lieutenant's and without even looking I place a bullet hole next to his head...he either stopped laughing or I killed him, I don't check to see which it is.
"Little...what are you?"
"I am your slave master."
"No...no I mean...what species are you?"
"I am a Doajinn master."
"A say what now?"
"A Daojinn my master."
"Where are you from? Don't you want to go home?"
"Daojinn have no home we are bound servants, our whole lives are spent in service to others."
"Get outta here, you're kidding right? No you're not kidding...that's not how my life works, and I'll bet the Black Mantis knew all along."
"When you signed your reciept you agreed to take me on as your servant."
"Yes but you're free now."
The thing shrieks like a wailing Banshee I'm certain she could crack glass with her voice.
"Alright, alright, alright, ENOUGH!!!"
as the sound dies and my hearing returns, and the bleeding eardrums stop...she starts crying...Black Mantis...I will repay this you sonofabitch.
"Alright kid that's enough shrieking you can be my...grrr...servant,. There are some rules though."
she smiles like a child, but I know better. As a demon she is quite possibly thousands of years old. I wonder how Moonshadow is going to take this? UGH I'm really beginning to hate my in laws. |

| After much deliberation about bubbles i have determined the following...The lines in the bubble sucked, they bubbles were necessary for a whale having the life and Air squeezed out of it. The foreground imagery was there to give a sense of depth and failed. but not entirely. Now see the new version with many many corrections. |

| Many of the ground battles in the millennium wars were fought with giant robotic vehicles nicknamed "Mechs" which come in a wide variety of shape, sizes, materials, and capabilities. They have replaced the tank in most respects although tanks are still used today as they are cheaper to manufacture than Mechs. Obsidian has one from his days in the millennium wars that has been retrofitted with both magical and technological upgrades. he has named it Harbinger and rarely uses it. The various systems populated by the Namae have since required him to dust it off and enter it from time to time in their Mech Wars gladiator games. In the last year Harbinger is has remained undefeated in it's weight class. |

A character I'm developing I'm not sure what powers to give him beyond flight, strength, Heat expulsion, Immortality, enhanced distance vision, limited invulnerability, healing and the ability to understand any language, spoken or written.
For a back story I'm thinking he always was the phoenix and just doesn't remember his past life before his latest resurrection, a sort of amnesia affects him every time he is reborn and takes quite a bit of time to regain his lost knowledge. For the time being he poses as a hero and as his normal job he is a linguistics professor. Name Peter Nixon. Whatcha think?

| I just recently discovered that Conan the Barbarian (yes the one we all know and love) could possibly be in the public domain. There is some dispute about the copyrights as Conan has passed from hand to hand. The issue seems to be that NOBODY remembered to renew the copyrights of the original author. This opens the door for a lot of new potential. I would not miss out on this opportunity to create my own version of him and I present a concept (not the finished product) here. Feedback would be nice. |

A piece I created for my game using :icondariofish:'s newest sci-fi armors (thanks for making them) I merged the two and added some old V4 stuff to create this assassin.
In the world of Galaxy 5 assassins still exist and with things as wild on the frontier zones as they are after the Millennium Wars they are in high demand. Killers come in all shapes and sizes but true assassins are specialists in the art of stealth and murder. Often using a wide array of methods to strike at their victims. Some assassins form guilds or groups the most famous of which is the Oni ninjas. The Oni are not simply assassins but shadow ops masters and one can only hope to receive training from their masters. Other groups such as the Shadow Walkers boast special powers that give them an edge but most assassin groups are usually found by authorities or employed by legitimate governments. There are many corporations such as Yokazunai, and Tbreila Inc. who payroll their own private armies and assassins, such business is highly illegal as one might suspect but the rumor of such a thing alone keeps smaller competitors from causing too much trouble for those kind of larger conglomerates. |

After Moonshadow makes hamburger out of the two specialists (A sight that would give a mortal man nightmares) we finally meet with her father. Four foot three inches tall and deliberately unassuming this minuscule bastard could wipe out the entire galaxy on a whim if he felt the impulse to do so. I can't see his face behind that mask but I know he pissed at seeing me and with his eldest daughter yet. He's really pissed about that contract he doesn't like overlooking loopholes I'm guessing. Moonshadow wraps her arm around my waste and holds me tightly and if I could see the look on his face I'm certain it would be rage. She looks coldly at him behind her lenses and her voice sounds like metal through her mask. Her words frustrate him and I find out that he truly is a man of his word, and he gave his word to his children. "I know you have had dealings with this Man father, but you gave your word that you would never harm or interfere with anything or anyone that is important to me and that you would support whatever union I chose."
"9000 years ago I made that promise and this one was to be one of us...and while it looks like you have accomplished with romance what I could not through deception. Fine I will remember my promise. Obsidian, if you hurt her...I will hurt you...I will really hurt you."
"Father!"
"Yes dear, I know you are more than capable of hurting him yourself. Is this something serious sweetheart?"
Sweetheart? I am seeing a Paternal side of the Black Mantis I didn't know existed.
"No Father but it may become something he is after all immortal."
"Obsidian, you have been through two marriages, I hope if you decide to do it again it will last substantially longer than the others."
I'm confused, I didn't bring up anything about relationships and I'm feeling a bit on the spot. My words are a jumble of stuttering and idiocy.
"Um yeah of course, I mean we're not serious like that yet but if it er happens I um yeah."
Real smooth dumbass.
"Very good then, Moonshaddow I will see you soon I hope? You rarely visit and your step mother misses you."
"Yes father, and tell Raven I said I'll be by soon."
With that he actually raises his mask as does she and kisses her on the cheek. I'm glad nobody can see my mouth wide open because this is not the bloodthirsty Black Mantis I know.
Slowly I turn to Moonshadow, still stunned from what I just saw...I can only ask:
"Dafuq was that?"
Moonshadow just smiles (that million dollar smile that just makes me melt) and says
"Oh that? Well after you wigged out on me at my place I figured I'd ease your mind a bit with my father. Long ago he made each of us a promise that he'd never hurt us and that meant never harming anything or anyone important to us. You're important to me, I haven't met too many elves like you...there's just something different about you, most elves are so conceited but not you, and it's obvious my father sees it too or he wouldn't be trying so hard to recruit you."
"So you're only interested because he is?"
"No darling, but it definitely makes things more interesting and now you don't have to worry about my father interfering with your life anymore although he might want to go fishing sometime hahahahaha"
Her laughter is like droplets of rain and tinkling bells, is their nothing about her that isn't magical? Okay I buy it for now and just looking at her figure and listening to her voice is every reason to, I know what you're thinking but like I said before Luminesti cannot be enthralled.
"Okay lady, so where do we go from here?"
"How about we find out why those guys wanted to kill us?" |

Obsidian's quarters are accessed to the right and left of the main view screen on the bridge, Obsidian's quarters surround the bridge on both sides and were it not for the bridge itself would take up all of deck one in the bridge tower. As the Lillun's bridge section has been replaced so too have his quarters. The Captain's quarters are now more spacious as well as more luxuriant and are equipped with essential interfaces and a great deal of personalization, such as the four burner stove-top that Obsidian enjoys cooking on, and his coffee maker. The quarters come complete wit what is essentially a spacious home complete with personal restroom with Jacuzzi, shower and sauna, a large sleeping area with entertainment system (full 20th century videos and audio are in the master library), there is also a personal laboratory for private R&D. Since becoming the God of Shadows and Intrigue Obsidian has gained many skills and intends to have a Skill chip set implanted upon relinquishing his powers. While he won't be able to improve upon the skillchip's database they will nevertheless grant him a few specialized skills he has yet to master.
I love creating interior rooms I can get lost in them for hours tweaking this or that until I have just the right look and feel. This one took the better part of two days to refine and 2 hours to render...well worth it for just a shot of this gorgeous living room IMHO. |

| The Nodjut are a race of black skinned, demonic looking, humanoids of average humanoid size. They are highly adept at magic and especially good at creating magical constructs of all sorts. Their planet "Oerth" is a Steam Punk-esque world teaming with great cities and brimming with magic boasts some of the best schools of Arcane studies known to exist and magic is so prolific that it has replaced technology in nearly every aspect of life from pepper grinders that grind themselves to arsenals of arcane blot guns and even Magically powered wooden starships. The Nodjut are a peaceful people well prepared for war and even the least of them have basic magical understanding and ability to use magic. It is unwise to come the Oerth looking for trouble and many is the raider who wished he had never mistook the primitive looking world for being a helpless one. |

Thor the Mighty, Odinson, The Mighty Thor, these are just some of the names given to the Norse god of thunder. His entry and that of many of earth's deities is intended to flesh out faiths within the Galaxy Five game and priests of the each faith will have their own edicts to which they subscribe. I hope it will be fun for all ages.
This of course is an updated version of my original Thor who for me looked a bit...like a dandy and i need my God of Thunder to taken seriously. |

| The Reptilian Kaerna are one of the many species that inhabit the Sathari galaxy. Like their lesser evolved cousins they are susceptible to the cold and become lethargic. Their head tendril has amazing strength at nearly 4 times the rest of their body. it can be used in a prehensile fashion but it's true purpose is only evident during mating. The tendrils are where their reproductive organs are located. Interestingly enough their females possess mammary glands which is something of a scientific enigma and they bear their young live. The embryos are funneled to the abdomen where they develop over 14 months. Young Kaerna are like tadpoles having no limbs which develop over their first 2 years. Technologically hey have all the advantages of any world in the empire and their technological level is up to the galactic standard. |

| Okay I won't even lie, this chick is a straight rip on Nick Fury...mostly. Major Ire is an intelligence officer who works for the black department of the IGFW she has Sentinel status which grants her above the law status in all IGFW systems. She answers directly to the IGFW Congressional council and thus far is one of their best operatives. She has, on occasion acquired the aid of The Scion of Justice, The Magi Council, The Zero-Men and even the mysterious Black Mantis, in order to achieve her goals. She is a true defender of the IGFW charter worlds and ideals and has performed her duties honorably and faithfully for over 175 years. At 200 years of age she accomplished a great deal turning down one promotion after another even a very prestigious position as director of the entire Black Ops division. She is well informed, highly intelligent, incredibly resourceful and absolutely deadly in combat, to underestimate her is to court death. |

| Anara 2 The mountainous home of the winged Anaran people has few plateaus on which to build or advance but after many thousand of years the Anaran people have conquered their world and built massive structures easily the match for any world. The various towns and posts that dot the rocky landscape are often miles apart and are usually only reachable by flight. Off worlders who can fly have an easier time when visiting Anara 2 anyone else is strongly encouraged to use Flight Packs/Belts as Hover vehicles have relatively few places where they can land. There are in more recent times, large expanses that have been terraformed for tourists and such areas are simply leveled mountains with sprawling tourist cities and theme park attractions making Tourism one of Anara's principal resources. There are also a number of "Legalized" forms of entertainment andAnara is well known for it slave marketing. The IGFW has a standing agreement with Anara which prohibits the capture and sale of any creature from any world under IGFW jurisdiction. In return the IGFW is required to enforce any sale, and apprehend and return any escaped slaves within their territories. This has sparked huge debates and fired off a great deal of controversy. The Reason the IGFW would uphold or be part of such a treaty is simple: The Aanaran people possess something the IGFW wants or needs...though it has not yet been revealed exactly what that is, as far as the general public knows Anara 2 is strategically located and is thus a valuable asset. |

The silence is uncomfortable so I muster up the courage and decide break it. Cheetah’s going to be with us till we find Panterra and I can’t operate under this kind of stress. I clear my throat, slightly embarrassed by how loud it seems and ask,
"We have to talk about what happened? I mean, I said I was sorry what more can I do?"
"After what you pulled, I am surprised you would expect me to say anything to you."
"Look Chee- Uh- Sarah, you know I never meant for us to get serious like that? I mean, I travel all across the five galaxies and you do the super hero thing here on Earth. I just don’t see how it would have worked."
"How can you not see? I could've…I could've come with you, I would have given up everything. I thought you felt the same way. Or were you just stringing me along?"
"I wasn't stringing you along. I just knew where this was all headed. We fall in love, settle down, and raise a family. Then eventually I get to watch you and them all grow old and die while I live on? I did that once before and I just don't have the strength to go through it again."
"I can't help that you're a damn Elf and that you’ll live forever. All I know is how I feel and I care very deeply for you. I though you cared for me too. Do you?"
I don’t answer I just hang my head solemnly, I do care.
“That’s what I thought.”
Her words sting like an arrow, and I have nothing to say because I know she’s right. She makes me want to grow old with her but that's an impossibility Luminesti Elves like me don't grow old, and unless we're killed we don't die either. This talk was a bad idea so I decide to go back to the awkward silence again.

| A Mech Or Mechanical Vehicle is a large robotic vehicle designed to walk and/or run across rough terrain. These towering robots have been used in nearly every facet of industry and are at the forefront of Security, and Military applications. They differ from power armor in that they require a seated pilot instead of enhancing the pilots own movements. They come in all sizes and shapes and can be found on nearly any world with an technology Rating of 10 or better. Most mechs are constructed from Non-Conventional Materials Such as Adamantine, Durasteel, and Megamesh. Some use enhanced plastics like Carbonate, and Infusium 3, There are magical versions although those differ greatly in construction materials & weaponry. |

"I waited....I did...for over 400 years I waited but you never came...I had children that I watched grow old and die. The bonds that held us together made me immortal but I was outliving everyone around me no matter how close we were and while elves accept this as part of their life...I couldn't. So about 50 years ago...I stopped waiting. I met someone, and as much as it hurt...and believe me it hurt, I let you go. and on that day I started aging normally. Now I'm begging you, move on my love. Build a good life and find happiness. I know for you this is all fresh still, and I'm sorry. At the very least my darling you are free from your contract with the Black Mantis. A contract that would not exist except for my foolishness."
I start to remove my helmet to look in her eyes but she places her hand over mine.
"No don't, please this is already breaking my heart and if I look into your eyes I will lose my resolve, and while I know that's what you want, it isn't what I want. I'm sorry, I really am but this is how it must be. I will always hold a place for you in my heart." She turns and walks away with tears in her eyes...and there's not a thing I can do about it. Just like that the woman I loved more than all the universe is gone from my life and I have my freedom from both her and the Black Mantis. Funny I really don't want my freedom at this point. |

| I'm working on assembling characters in Daz Studio for instant loading, this means I will no longer have to find the parts of a costume, dress the model, shape the model, then sculpt the face, instead I do this all once and save the character in a very specific way. Would you like to this too? I would bet more people would spend a larger amount of time perfecting a character if they knew they only had to do it just once. Or maybe you'd download more static obj's if you knew you only had to import them the hard way just once. Cliff dragons are a variety of 2 legged Wyverns that make their lairs inside cliff faces and prefer high precipices from which to view their surroundings. Like the predatory birds of earth they possess remarkable telescopic and polarized vision and are excellent hunters. At a mere 15 feel in length (most of which is neck and tail) they boast a wingspan of 50 feet. They kill their prey by diving from altitudes of about 3000 feet and pouncing with their razor sharp talons. They are very intelligent and while they can be aggressive will take to a rider as long as they are well fed. They are pack oriented often hunting in large groups of up to 15 to take down herd animals (which are their primary diet) by having several pack members swarm around and confuse prey luring them into tight groups where they can be picked off more easily. It is because of this pack mentality that they make some of the best companion steeds among dragon kind. They are true dragons and can breathe fire and as such are immune to even the hottest flames shrugging off even volcanic temperatures. They are not capable of speech but do have a rudimentary for of communication amongst themselves that can be learned if one cares to take the time. Startlingly they can develop a keen understanding of spoken languages without the need for training making them further indispensable as mounts and companions. As semi-sentient creatures they need not be tethered like a common horse or muzzled like other dragons and this feature alone has made them a premier choice for winged mounts. Cliff Dragons come in a variety of colors from the full spectrum of the rainbow and indeed some are specially bred for their colors alone. Unlike steed dragons Cliff dragons can and often do choose self preservation over obeying commands...unless they have been given reasons to be loyal. That means one would be wise to treat their Cliff Dragon well.

As I leave Earth's star port I happen to notice a woman on the commuter who seems to be taking an interest in the shuttle's systems. Out of nowhere she makes a mad dash to the cockpit completely freaking out the pilots.
"You have to land this thing now!"
"What, the? Hey you're not supposed to be up here lady! Return to your seat now!"
Her response is one of legend as she knocks the pilot cold with a single hit and screams at the co-pilot.
"Land now or I'll do it myself!"
Taken aback by the the nap delivered to his partner the co-pilot complies. The second we hit the tarmac security swarms the tiny craft. Me and the crazy lady are pulled tot he side and detained, being armed to the teeth almost guaranteed I'd be lined up with her. We're escorted to the back of a paddy wagon and as they're about to close the door the starboard engine on the commuter bursts into flames. The crazy lady now looks a hell of a lot less crazy. I lean over and whisper.
"Did you know that was gonna happen?"
"Anyone with a brain knew that was gonna happen, the engine's harmonics were completely off for a type 218 Jumper, the acoustic frequency should be 480.3 megahertz but it was off by 30 megahertz and the most likely source is the plasma injector thermo-couple and since it was just the Starboard side that was off it was a logical conclusion that the starboard engine was in serious jeopardy. In fact the resonance was declining by 40 Megahertz per second while the pilots delayed. There simply wasn't time to tell anyone though."
"So you just took charge. So you could tell all of that by the way the engine sounded."
"Yeah my trainers in the academy said I had a gift."
"So you were in the military?"
"12 years actually to tell you the truth I liked it a lot better than this gig, just endless hours of going over someone else's work and tons of mindless paperwork, but what else am I gonna do? The military life just wasn't for me too many rules too many proceedures, they're just too rigid in how hey do things."
"What do you do now?"
"You see those guys overlooking the shuttle?"
"Yeah."
"I'm their boss."
"No shit?"
"No shit."
Sure enough the security guys discover her identity and come over to release the both of us, she's the only one that gets an apology though. I head to the new shuttle that arrives but before I do...
"Hey Miss? What's your name?"
"Sabrina, Sabrina Walters."
"Well Sabrina, I have a ship of my own and I could use someone as skilled as you. You think you'd be interested in being my chief engineer? The pay is god and you could run engineering however you see fit. Whadaya say?"
"I don't know, I don't know a thing about you and I my job pays really well."
"I see, well let me introduce myself then, I'm called Obsidian Mask, and..."
"The same obsidian mask that stopped Dominion? The same Obsidian Mask who's second in command of the Sathari Empire? The Captain of the LIllun?"
Her eyes are as big as saucers, and her voice is filled with excitement, apparently I'm a celebrity?
"Yes, that Obsidian Mask."
"I've heard about your ship, is it true you use space-fold generators? Do you really utilize magical components with the on board ship systems?"
Okay, maybe my ship is more famous than me.
"While all of that is true Sabrina I'm not captaining the Lillun anymore."
"Oh" she says disappointingly
"I have a new ship called the Sable, she parked over there."
I gesture to towards my ship where several others are docked nearby.
"That one there the big black one."
"That is a bit smaller then the Lillun, it looks fast."
"It is, and it has nearly all of the same systems the Lillun has."
"Including space fold?"
"Space fold, Hyperdrive, and Warp Rings."
"Wait, how did you get warp and hyperdrive systems to work without causing an intermix conflict in the drive cores?"
"Um maybe you should ask the engineers I have. Does that mean you'll take the job?"
"How much does it pay?"
I scribble a number down and her eyes get even wider.
"Are you serious?Is that annually or...?"
"No that's per month, just one thing."
"What's the catch?"
"You're bridge crew for all intents and have to attend all meetings for bridge members."
"I think I can handle that, You sir, have yourself a deal, I'll pack my bags and board ASAP."
"Good to have you aboard Sabrina, we depart in 5 hours."
"I'll be ready in 4."
We shake hands and go our separate ways, I start getting the ship ready for departure, I hope this woman is as good as she seems because I'm placing a lot on her shoulders. Still need to complete my crew the only positions open now are chif medical, Tactical, helm and science officer...I'm gonna have to go off world for the others I think. |
