| Phoenix Rising Jedifan227 2004/10/31 1:56 5764 9
This is a hard character to do. Not so much the costume, its fairly simple, but the flames are a pain in the ass! I like the way it turned out. But I did this just to post something a little different than what I usually do. ENJOY!!! |

| Human Torch In Flight! Jedifan227 2004/11/4 2:00 3255 6
Well, due to the overwhelming response to my "Phoenix Rising" pic...I decided to do the opposite sex some justice. Here we see Torchie flying high over the city. Same technique was used, just more layers and more patience. Enjoy!! |

| She-Hulk Dryad 2004/11/5 19:29 8164 6
sorry personal, unintentionally I ended up editing wrong and I took the picture of the page. I am ordering again. As the manipulation, is treated of actress Chyna and Denise Masino. |

| Spiderman (Black Costume) Jedifan227 2004/11/5 22:50 2815 4
I wanted to do this for awhile now. It was fairly easy to do. I used a texture filter on top of a highlight, then added another highlight over that, to keep it looking real. The spider emblem was just cut and paste. Trying to do one from scratch was aggravating to say the least. But I like this emblem better, because it doesnt go all around his torso. I always hated that part of the design. I hope you like it. ENJOY!! |

| "Fame" - U-Go Girl, Orphan and Doop (Nov Challenge) Angelophile 2004/11/8 3:15 3601 8
Okay, this is one of the manips I've been working on some time, but the November challenge theme prodded me to finish it off and submit it. Here we have the world's favourite mutants, U-Go Girl (depicted by Jennifer Jason Leigh) and The Orphan (Jude Law) along with Doop (a King Edwards potato) on the cover of Hello! celebrity magazine. Time just seemed too highbrow for them.
Even managed to sneak in Phat, (depicted by Eminem, who else?)
All work was done in Photoshop CS, the costumes Frankensteined as usual from dozens of different sources. Another manip that weighed in at around 120 layers.
I appreciate any comments. |

| Batgirl- (Black Costume) Jedifan227 2004/11/10 20:46 3224 4
I have recently posted a few pics with alternate costumes. I am really having fun doing the lesser done costumes for my manips. I am trying to test myself to do as many alternates as I can. I always liked this costume for Batgirl. It makes her look mean as hell. This was a huge base pic, and it took alot longer than I thought it would, but I am pleased. Enjoy!!! |

| Marvel Elseworlds Kallisti Style, pt. 2: Invisible Girl Kallisti 2004/12/6 18:33 4253 5
OK so i didn't change her appearance all that much, just changed the costume colors and made the whole thing look a little more high-tech. the Fantastic Four strike me as a group that would use lots of gadgets. i plan on doing a group manip of my versions of the entire team. Enjoy! comments appreciated. Welcome Back Heromorph!!! |

I am very glad that our favorite site is back up and running again! Now, I can post my stuff!!-- Here is Rogue in a simple pin-up. I really loved the model in this one. I am also playing around with more texures in my work, hopefully improving as I go. As always, comments are appreciated. Enjoy! WELCOME BACK HEROMORPH!!! |

| "Excalibur - The Sword Reforged" Angelophile 2004/12/9 4:59 5737 15
I started off just intending to do a manip of Callisto, but as usual decided to give myself a little more of a challenge. Callisto herself was pretty challenging, lots of tentacles for her new look. Her 'actress' is Carrie Anne Moss, Wicked is Jennifer Love Hewitt, while Magneto and Xavier are based on the movie versions played by Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart.
The completed image was around 90 layers in photoshop. Maybe next time I should keep things simpler. ;) . |

| the lost war journal entry.... Billy 2004/12/11 14:00 2709 6
december 24, 2004....
I remember the nights, when i watched you sleep.Gripped by some far away dream...so in love then...so lost in you then...no words in the dark.No one to fuel the fire.No light in the window...only memories in the dark. Blessed our bodies lie intertwined, i will not forget you or ever let you go... I remember the day you were taken...so silently you stole from my bed, and became one with fate. So, i ran like the wind to the waters edge... Please don't leave me, i cried, throwing bitter tears into the ocean, but all that came back was the tide....
merry christmas, sweetheart. i'll be home soon. |

| Marvel Elseworlds Kallisti Style, pt. 3: Fantastic Four Kallisti 2004/12/12 16:44 4257 10
after doing my sue storm elseworlds pic, i couldn't let go of the idea to redo all four members of the team. here's what i spent a good portion of my sunday on, to get it out of my system. i toyed with the idea that they wear different colored uniforms, probably from mission to mission, and carry various pieces of mission-specific equipment. due to his elasticity, mr. fantastic carries no gadgets. went for a sort of same-but-different concept for both ben grimm and johnny storm. enjoy! comments appreciated. |

| Marvel Elseworlds, Kallisti Style: Black Cat Kallisti 2004/12/13 20:44 4488 13
because the mighty Winterhawk demanded it: here's my version of Black Cat. i fiddled with this for a long time, decided to give up the white hair... i had the idea for a pink/black color combo for a while... the leopard print was almost an afterthought, heh. enjoy! comments appreciated... who should i do next? |

| Ultimate Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch by B and QuantumFX B 2004/12/14 12:14 4813 8
This is a collaboration I did with QFX for a theme day at C2F. I decided to post it here too. This is Alexis Denisof and Melina Kanakaredes, respectively, as the Ultimate versions of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch.
I did the costuming, all basically from scratch excepting some minor use of a curve on the metal parts of Quicksilver's costume. QFX did the Poser (his first work in that application, I believe) and the Frankensteining, as well as putting everything together. |
|
| Marvel Elseworlds Kallisti Style, pt. 5: Rogue Kallisti 2004/12/15 18:30 3554 5
OK so i went for the feisty-teenager look for rogue here, fairly simple costume. just jeans and a sweater basically, over a protective bodysuit. naturally, the bodysuit is more to protect others, not rogue herself. her gloves are easily removable, so she doesn't have to go around kissing bad guys all the time. enjoy! comments appreciated... |

| Scarlet Spider Jedifan227 2004/12/17 23:22 3315 11
I havent read comics in years, so I really dont know much about the history of Ben Reilly or his alter ego, Scarlet Spider. But I really liked the concept behind his character. I stole the obvious base from Spiderman, but after it was finished, I thought this was lookin pretty cool. I havent seen anyone do this character as of yet, so I figured why not give it a try. ENJOY! |

| Phoenix pinup Daruma 2004/12/20 2:37 5823 16
This was my first pic done with photoshop 6, so I wanted to keep it simple. Pretty much just followed Black Alchemy's start 2 finish tutorial. When I know what I'm doing a little more I'll give her a background. |
