At first, I couldnt get the metalic look right, but some encouragement and advise from fellow heromorph artists (WH and Brick), I kept at it and got what I think is one of my best manips. In fact, I like her pose so much, that I'm going to use her in my first ever fight scene. maybe with Zealot, if I can find a suitable model. One with a full backside view. If anyone has one, I'd love to see it. |

I will be honest, I've only read one Fathom comic book...and I really couldn't get into it. I do however like the artwork of Michael Turner. This image just lent itself to Fathom, hence the manip. I was really intrigued by the challenge of creating water as if it was part of the body. I think it turned out alright, I went for more of a power signature on it rather than just a lifeless water body. Done in photoshop, layers, layer modes, color balance, brightness/contrast were used to create the effects. i want to thank C2F artist Zac for the help, had some issues with what really could spruce this thing up and he gave me some ideas that i really hadn't thought of. oh yeah the background is done in bryce, i wish i could photoshop random water that good.

After I finished my part on the first Call to Arms picture. I thought I would try a Multiple Character manipulation myself. If i knew we were going to be doing a new Call to arms project I probable would have saved this picture for that but alas that is not the case. What i Found difficult on this one, each model had a swimsuit on. some one peice and others two piece suits. some of the forms and shape of the bodies were gone so i had to comprimise will some of the shapes of the costumes. The biggest example is Wonder Woman, the WW on her chest does not really form to her body because of the swim suit. I also made it a good size for wallpaper. for those looking for a new desktop. All in all I am pleased with this one.

2. Commenting image: Many marks of bullets in a wall and an untouched Fairchild in front of it. In this angle, the face of Cory Everson is very similar to the Adam Hughe's drawings. Amazing.
3. Making of:
Step 01: Resizing the image. The original image was very small. I increased it and, from that, I had to clean it. It took time.
Step 02: Creating new left arm. The left hand was placed below the waist. In truth, I censured the position of this hand.
Step 03: Creating uniform. It also took a considerable time. The hexagonal standard was distorted to mold itself to the body of the heroine (Shear and Spherize).
Step 04: Creating background. It was made from the mixture of many textures. The bullet marks had been easily created and multiplied.

3. Making of:
The same old speech. The Gralha's drawing was made by me. The "real" Gralha demonstrates as how it can be ridicule (for the brazilian reality) the concept of a super-hero. With the background and the two Gralhas, I noticed that the composition was very confused... so I decided to add these black bars to simulate a page of comic book and the problem was fixed. |

upon returning to his alleyway home, after narrowly escaping certain death in heaven...Al uses a tiny bit of his power to make a physical image of his former hunter turned ally turned lover whom although an angel herself...helped him escape her sisters...while lost in thoughts of her, he does not feel the violators powers observing him...gleefully waiting on the last drop of power to leave simmons and therefore finishing him...

Where is Lady Heromorph?
Unfortunately Tazman did not make her in time. Well... my part is done.
Making of: Dennis Newman's head mixed with another two different bodybuilder's images.
Earth found on Google and very manipulated.
Lightning effects, nebulae and stars made by hand.
Description: A classic scene of Crisis on Infinite Earths (an enormous cliche). The two web sites, through a cosmic anomaly, touch themselves creating great catastrophe. Lady Heromorph and a second Earth would have to be located in the right side of this image.
Commentaries: I adored this competition but since the proposal was not reached I cannot participate of it (and android sits down and starts dreaming about a land where machines are free).

In a bit of a funk again (and whenever I get really into a pic my pc seems to crash on me which is a bit disheartening!), so anyways here is a pic I did back in december (you may have seen it on C2F) but here it is without compression.
This is the title character from a COM.X comic book. The original image had the girl wearing the tshirt, boots and shorts. Everything else is added. I am particularly happy with the sword slash on the stomach. The poster at the back is from a poster page in the Trade Paperback. |
