| This is the latest in my X-Men Ultra series. I looked long and hard for a base to match my artistic vision of Wolverine. I wanted it dark and scary, but keeping the classic costume. | I havent read comics in years, so I really dont know much about the history of Ben Reilly or his alter ego, Scarlet Spider. But I really liked the concept behind his character. I stole the obvious base from Spiderman, but after it was finished, I thought this was lookin pretty cool. I havent seen anyone do this character as of yet, so I figured why not give it a try. So, I just spent 4 hours of my life (that I will never get back) fumbling around in Adobe InDesign CS4 to help a friend with a project he needed for work. I have no experience with this seemingly non-intuitive program and it was quite a hassle. Long story short (too late) I was left with a feeling of ineptitude that I am not used to experiencing when working in Photoshop. So I decided to touch up a manip I posted sometime last year just to prove to myself that I still know how to use a computer. I don't know if that rant makes any sense, but here's a manip of Viper whispering in Spider-Woman's ear with the eyes fixed. If you're not familiar with the original, here's a link.

Harry Osborn has taken his father's place, as the new and improved HOBGOBLIN! Spidey knows all too well how bad Harry wants him to pay for the death of his father, Norman Osborn. And with Harry knowing Spiderman's true identity, he must choose between a life-long friendship, or being destroyed at the hands of his former friend. Can Spidey save Harry from his father's demons? Or, will Harry finish the job his father began? We will have to wait and see!!!
