| Scarlett Witch (Costume Alterations) DarqueImages 2004/5/8 17:57 4604 5
Brooke Burke is the base model. This one was a collective 15 hours put into it, and I'm posting it unfinished simply because I got sick of looking at it. No background no effects just her. |

| spider-girl by batmic BatMic 2004/6/14 9:47 4628 11
i did something quite stupid with this. i started off making just the mask and i liked how it turned out so then i began making the rest of the suit but i couldn't get the mask and the suit to look the same. it hopefully isn't that noticeable but to me it sticks out a mile.
next time i'll leave the rest of her costume and post it i the adult gallery, i'm sure there's an audience for naked swinging spider-chicks.
this is also the debut of my logo, almost every one has one, so....! |

| Spider-Man/Black Cat: Sight Seeing psychegirl 2006/4/25 19:44 4636 20
Hi! This is my first pic submission to Heromorph. Black Cat is one of my favorite characters. I play her in an RPG. And since the RP lets us use pics, I like to make pics for her.
For Black Cat I used Ali Larter as the model. As for the backdrop. I had it on my hard drive for awhile but I finally got to use it for this one.

| Dark Phoenix - Jennifer Korbin JMPerkins 2008/6/30 13:50 4646 11
A recreation of "Phoenix Endsong". Took a couple liberties with the hair, but I tried to stay true to the original artwork.
And of course, I couldn't have done it without stunningly beautiful photos of Jennifer Korbin. My ideal Jean Grey and all her identities and clones. |

After my last post of Wonderwoman sitting on Plasticman as a chair, Bikerbot challenged me to do a Marvel pic. Here ya go! Clearly the jacket gave me the biggest headache, but I'm sick of looking at it for now. The model is Natalia Sokolova. Peace! -Leif. |

okay, i've been gone a while, but inspiration hit me the other day while browsing my model collection and here you have it: my versions of Dazzler (model is Lindsey Marshall, red hair on right) and Jubilee (a combination of two unknown models, on the left). i guess they're at a rave or something. they probably got paid to do the light show... its good to be back! Enjoy! comments appreciated... |

| "Hayseed" - Generation X's Husk Angelophile 2005/1/6 0:14 4669 9
Another of the manips I was working on for my Generation X team shot, again I figured this one stood up as an individual image - or did after some tweaking. No major special effects, just a recreation of Paige's current X-men costume - I think it looks pretty good after a few initial problems. Paige's actress is Kirsten Dunst, as with the earlier manip I did of her. |

| Avengers Forever! Kev_Incal 2005/3/7 19:53 4669 12
Besides being my favorite Avengers story of all time, Avengers Forever was drawn by one of my favorite artists, the masterful Carlos Pacheco! If you don't know the story, AF is about 7 Avengers selected from different points in history (including the future) to save reality itself. Very cool story with tons of characters and great art - definitely worth picking up. I'll post the casting when I find it... |

| Spider Woman Kallisti 2004/5/15 8:53 4671 12
So i "finished" this manip a month or two ago, never could get a background to work because the hair was proving just too time consuming for me to want to deal with. i figured i'd never post it, but i wound up using it to test an idea i had about making costumes look a little thicker, so i tried it out. i guess i'll go ahead and post it background-less, as sort of a preview of the Masters of Evil project i'm working on... |
|
| "Atrophy" - Generation X's Penance Angelophile 2005/6/18 12:59 4673 13
The final figure for my Generation X manip, Penance has actually come together pretty quickly - it took about three or four hours to complete this image. The costume was maniped from various straitjacket pics, with an unnamed model providing the basic catsuit.
Penance's "actress" is Mila Jovovich. The hair started ut as dreadlocks and I created the spins using Photoshop's liquidize tool.
I'm pretty pleased with the end result - I think the hair's an improvement over the previous Penance figure I did. |

| We Are Venom! effektdmentality 2007/1/7 11:44 4703 8
I thought I'd start posting here for a bit as well as C2F, as the turnaround is faster here and the filesize limit is bigger.
Did this a while ago, back when the first shot of Topher-Venom surfaced. I took the publicity shot and isolated the head. Next, I built the torso from scratch, and franked the arms and legs from yet more bodybuilder pictures, making them considerable smaller and leaner than the original base photos of the bodybuilders. I thendesaturated the entire body minus the head and recolored it to a tealish black. I next made a small hexagonal pattern , shrunk it down, and replicated over the entire body, limb by limb to get the suit's texture. I next took a picture of Spidey's symbol, franked in the extra leg segments pointing inward, inversed the black symbol to make it white, and added it to the chest. The tendrils are all actually just one tendril that I made, replicated, and transformed/liquefied to change their shapes. The pool of symbiote is also just a blob of black and white that I transformed/liquefied. I then found some pictures of an irregular brick pattern, and used that to make the floor, wall, and window, adding some home decoration columns as well. The bells were made from a picture of an old church bell that I recolored and replicated, and the lightning was a pic I got from a weather photography site. All in all, a good 10 hours or so.
Kinda wish it was bigger. Oh well. |
