| There's a coupla reasons why I did this manip. I know you don't wanna hear 'em, but I'm gonna tell ya anyways. I've been devoting so much time to Challenges both here and at Bold as well as doing requests, that I haven't really done anything for myself. I've been looking to do an action manip featuring someone flying. I found the perfect city scene and the perfect model but when it came to choice of characters....welllllll. Anyway, since I promised to do more obscure characters I thought nobody could be as obscure as the Ray. It's just a quickie so bash as you like. |

| I hope everyone recognizes the Colonial Avengers aka JediVengers...[left to right] Boba Pym a former clone trooper who was subjected to genetic experiments to increase his size, Staldo Wan aka Capt. Jedi who is said to be the first Jedi Master and was freed from his carbonite prison after 300 years, I-RON3C Staldo Wan's personal servant droid, Thorr-Windu the reincarnated god of the Force who is said to be composed of the spirits and strengths of every Jedi Knight who has ever fallen in battle and lastly Princess Jana from the insect planet Swarvul. I did this for a challenge over at Animotions, the theme was to design a comicbook character like a Star Wars character. |

| I've been using outdated figures for my last couple of renders as well as some made by 3rd party peeps. Surprisingly the figures haven't looked that bad in my renders. Here's another offbeat figure that I found somewhere over the internet. I'd love to give credit to the vendor but I got this so long ago I couldn't remember where or how I got it. In a post apocalyspe world the Predators still find time to hunt their most challenging quarry...man.
This is something I've been working off and on for the past month or so. Had been wanting to use the newer Predator figure for M4 since i got it but up until now had basically just used bits and peices of it for my own characters. This is probally the most postwork i've put into a non-superhero image ever. Rendered a lighter version also but this hunt occurs at sunrise and this captured it best. I've got another similar scene saved like this using V4 that i may or not finish and post later. Thanx for looking. |

| When I began the transition of Unicorn characters from 2D to 3D I've been pretty much keeping those created by Tazman as close to their original design as possible, eventhough I felt a few could use upgrading. However after seeing DW's version of H-Clone I decided to upgrade the one Taz character I always felt needed enhancing...T-Clone. Bear in mind this isn't an actual change for the character just how I feel she should look. |

I originally intended this base for Shanna the She-Devil but this came out just as nice. This will probally be the last challenge I do for awhile so enjoy! |

I thought I'd chime in on this contest. Since I've been messing around with 3D I've been dying to do something in a comic book format. Thanx for the chance.
STORY SYNOPSIS: The plot revolves around a police investigation into criminal allegations against Joshua Dalembare, the CEO of a major munitions development corporation, who is said to have been selling black-market weapons on the streets. The local police have been pumping Dalembare's private secretary, Karen Howard, for information much to the dismay of her husband Ray. Finally she gives in and decides to speak with the law only to find out that there may be more to her boss than she knows...when what appears to be 2 agents from the National Security Organization show up at her doorstep. Who is Joshua Dalembare? What exactly does Karen know about him? How is the N.S.O. involved and what do they have in store for Karen and her family? Most importantly..why are the Howard family watching a surfing movie when Heroes is on?
ART NOTES: This was my first image using the G2 figures Sydney & Simon and I am very impressed with them. I put a lot of work into the lighting [not my strongest suit] to project a believable nighttime atmosphere. More than anything I thought the camera angles were key to the story not so much for a dramatic effect, but so everything wasn't so linear and distant! After rendering each scene sepperately I brought each panel into PS7 and did some extra lightning work adding some key lensflares for the traffic scene. I then did all the dialogue in Illustrator and Voila!
This was fun! If I have enough time I may do another! |

| here's mine although this isnt an official challenge i thought it might be better to put it here. if you mods have a problem with it feel free to move it to a gallery of your choosing. as you see i had nowhere near the same influences as pijon...but e did relate on a couple and just like him i had nowhere near enough room to put all my choices. i wasn't sure if i was supposed to adhere to the guidelines of the map so i toook a few liberties with mine. hope you like and feel free to ask about my choices. |

This actually took longer than I anticipated [primarily the postwork]..not so much the actual photoshop work but I had such great background images I spent a least 2 days playing around with filters/blending not to mention finding the exact right one to use {still not sure if this was the best of the bunch).
I like how this came out but I wouldn't exactly label it my A+ work. And since I now delete all my scenes after renders..I won't re-visit this later. |
