Hi, remember me? 
My first post here in about 9 months or so... This is Dazzler in her New Excalibur costume. I wanted to do something involving power effects, and she seemed a good candidate. Body from Daz 3D, face collaged together from a variety of photos, costume and power effects from scratch.
The lighting on the face is wrong. I know this. I don't care enough to fix it. Thank you. |

This was my first try using a tutorial to clothe a model. Any constructive critism besides the pic size would be great.
I can't figure out how to change the hair color. Anyone got some pointers?

Dazzler is Britney Spears from the Live in Las Vegas poster. Enchantress is Christina Aguilera. Spider-man is Tobey (maybe) from the movie. Iron Man is the Horizon model. Nightcrawler is Alan Cumming, who was in X2.

This is, as the text says, Milla Jovovich as Dead Girl. It was about my ninth or tenth manip. Milla was originally posing for Versace. I gave her a slight haircut, got rid of her dress, then added the costume. I did the background in the 3D modelling program Bryce, and smudged it to match the painted look of the rest of the piece. Yes, it's supposed to look painted, not photorealistic.
My main problem with this piece, looking at the piece now, is the logo. It's floating, and completely lacks depth. There's also some ugly edges around, God alone knows why I never got rid of them. (shakes head)
This was the best manip I did for a very long time, and I'm still proud of it. |

This was supposed to be a collaboration with Dark_Wanderer, but after waiting a year for him to finish his part, I did it myself. No offense DW.
This is of course J.Lo as Deathbird, with Stacy Kiebler (mostly) being the body double. A looong time ago I did another Deathbird manip (one of my first acctually)...I like to think I'm getting better. Check it out here . |

| December Challenge: Xmas Gift for Winterhawk

Winterhawk signed up for C2F's XMas theme day, where artists are randomly selected to do request pics for another artist. Traditionally, these are manips of the artist making the request, but Hawk requested a pic of one of his favourite characters instead. (Apparently being manipped into Wonder Woman wasn't good enough for him.) I got picked as Hawk's Secret Santa, and this is my gift for him. Since Hawk is still primarily an HMorpher, I thought it was appropriate to post it here too so that everyone could go and lavish me with praise.
In case anyone wants a story behind this pic, my theory is that Blink's latest reality-saving mission is to deliver that Cabbage Patch Winterhawk doll under some poor sap's Christmas tree.

| Okay, this is my first photomanip ever, and I know it's probably not very good, but I'm just excited that I actually did it! Thanks to Black Alchemy for the start to finish tutorial, it was great. Comments welcome, tips greatly appreciated! The dodge tool wasn't working correctly on the black... is that why people say black and white are the hardest to do? Anyway, here is Susan Ward as Domino. |

This one I'm a wee bit iffy about, namely with the lighting, but I like how it turned out. And I tried to make it bigger than the BC/Spidey one.
I started out with an image of the lovely Ms. Avril Lavigne holding microphone and wearing a tiara. After editing them out, I stuck a piece of crystal that I found on a Google search into her hand and changed it purple. I also incorporated some Blink costume elements into the pic, such as the skirt thing and the collar to give it a "real world" feel.
Then I found the pic of the alley on google and stuck her on there, did the power effects with some brush work and some dodging and burning and...viola...Blink, AKA Clarice Ferguson. |

I didnt like the costume design and coloring of this character at all, sholder pads, stupid long boots and the upper arm bands, I was really tempted to make some major changes to the costume but because of the ruls couldnt 
Anyway hope you like the minor tweeks I have made. |
