Orchid doesn't care why Rose wants her head but this is finally her chance to show the brash upstart who is truly the queen of assassins. Well, at least that was the plan. |

i have made an example clip which shows the viewport 2 of Autodesk Maya 2012 rendering and the use of Microsoft Kinect with the autodesk packages.
For this, i've used Brekel's Kinect software together with the Brekel Motionbuilder device.
About Autodesk Viewport 2 :
It's amazing what they have done in autodesk 2012
The render engine is amazing and the rendertime of this clip took about 3 minutes max. in 1280*720.
So that's amazing.
1 minor point i have to say, The viewport doesn't handle transparency of skinned meshes all too well.
Something to keep in mind.
About Brekels Software.
the beginning of the clip was made with Brekels Kinect software 0.42
I had to disable the animation of the lower arms and the wrist, there it caused serious flipping in the arms.
After i've contacted Brekel about it, he updated the software immediately to version 0.43
The dancing part was done with Brekel kinect software 0.43
which resulted in a more usuable rig.
So my thanks for making this clip goes out to :
Autodesk - due to the major improvements they have done with the 2012 lineup. As well for Maya as Motionbuilder
Brekel - For making the Kinect ussuable to use as a standalone capture software as well as a great motionbuilder plugin.
One thing to keep in mind :
Motionbuilder 2012 has issues characterizing bvh and target it to your character.
Use Motionbuilder 2011 for this till autodesk fixes this.

Following She-Ra is not an easy task. Most folks don't know it but those super strong types can propel themselves through water pretty quickly. I'm making good time but I'm still behind her...even with Aquatic Impulse drives. I happen upon a cave in the reefs and I happen to catch the glow of some kind of light...I hope this isn't one of those bad things I'm always running into but this place almost guarantees I'm gonna run into something horrible...Ah well, time to fall into the trap and see what's in there.
On a side note: My underwater images are getting much better...not really a steep learning curve though. |

Here we have Vanessa Silverlynn before and after she began shadow work. Silver was born Tomoe, youngest daughter of the prestigious Ryuzaki family, one who could trace its lineage back to Feudal Japan. She was born an elf and so didn't have as a rough a time adjusting to the Sixth World as those who went through goblinization. In her youth, she was a rowdy, unpredictable tomboy, hell bent on raising as much of it as she could. Her family considered her the 'black sheep' and more or less wrote her off until a high-ranking official in Renraku Corporation, the megacorp her father worked for, noticed her beauty and 'persuaded' her father to betroth her to him in exchange for an upper management position. Hearing this, Tomoe ran away, even against the tearful begging of her twin brother Tomonobu. She fled into the night, bringing great dishonor to her family. She discovered later that her father soon vanished under strange circumstances.
Soon she found she had a knack for stealth, having to sneak and steal to keep from being caught. After a year or so on the streets, she came across a group of men attacking a lone person. Planning on robbing the man to support herself, she joined the fight, completely unprepared as the group turned on her as well. Her superior agility, youth, and a heaping helping of luck saw her and the man turn the tide of the fight, leaving two dead, three injured, and two others fleeing for their lives.
As she tried to sneak off after a moments' rest, she found herself restrained by the one who would have been her next nuyen.
"I saw what you did, don't even try to leave as though nothing happened..." A harsh whisper in her native tongue.
She turned to strike and soon found herself looking up through a red haze as the night slowly closed in.
Days later, she woke to find herself in a dimly lit cell. A single door with a small window provided the only view inside and out. The walls were plasteel, yet carved and stamped to resemble traditional bamboo. Angry fists pounded against the impassive door, high pitched insults and demands for release echoing into the empty hallway and up the stairs. A few moments of this brought the man who abducted her down the stairs and up to her window.
"Release me! Now!" she screamed defiantly through the bars.
The man answered by unlocking the door and kicking it open, sending her sprawling on the floor. He stalked in and jerked her head up by the hair, forcing her to look at his face. He traced a line of stitches down from his hairline to the lower area of his right jaw. "Do you see this?" He bellowed.
She spat in his face. He slammed her into the floor and raised her up again, grinning at the trails of blood streaming from her forehead and lower lip. Still she snarled.
"Someone owes me this blood, and you shall not be freed until this debt is paid. Prepare yourself, young killer. You work for me now." And with that he threw her across the room, his stalking steps and guttural laughter the last things she experienced as the night swept in yet again.
Over the next several years, she was roughly and brutally trained, her slightest mistake being met with bone crushing force. Her identity was stripped away, and a new one, forged in blood, both her own and that of her victims, was put in it's place. She went from a lowly street thug, killing people with lead pipes and loud firearms, to an elite assassin and intelligence gatherer, killing silently with razor steel and silenced gun, slicing through matrix security like a scalpel through flesh and extracting data like a malignant growth. In time she came to rely on her masters, as they had given her empty life purpose, though it was purpose hard earned. Her family would not recognize the young woman standing before them today, so different from the rotten child who ran away so long ago.
As she approached her 20th birthday, she chanced to ask her abductor of so long ago if she had paid her debt. A punishing backhand that sent her sprawling across the chamber brought him to his feet. He drew forth an immense sword from next to the table at which he sat, walking calmly towards her.
"Yes, your debt is paid, and I have no further use for you." He brought the enormous two-handed sword up and swung it down, hitting only air and carpet as the nimble assassin rolled away. No words were spared, though a seething rage burned in her shining, cybernetic eyes, a 'gift' the Heishino thought would serve them well. She drew her own sword, a custom built Ninja-to, and engaged the immense human in melee. The only sound was that of steel on steel, the occasional grunt as a kick or elbow told. The fight lasted for almost an hour, the student finally besting the master with a slash to his left thigh and a knee-breaking kick to his right, the tip of her blade resting at his throat.
The man smiled. "Finish me, assassin. Finish this and you will become the new leader of the Heishino. End me with honor." And he leaned forward, allowing a clean shot to his neck.
"No." And she kicked him in his chest, sending him up against the desk. She drew her pistol and leveled it at his head. "You took my youth, my innocence. You even saw fit to take parts of my body. You have no honor, dog." She fired once into his chest, curling him over in agony. She kicked him on to his back and took steady, cold aim at his head.
"And my name is Tomoe."
She had already turned to leave before the empty brass shell had hit the ground.
She fled Japan to Detroit, assuming the name Vanessa Silverlynn and starting over. Soon, she got teamed with a pair of lovely trolls and a new friendship was born.

| I don't know if this happened to anybody else but here's like the 1st effect a learned on PS, Render Lightning Effect.... boy I remember my 1st impresion damn this is awesome and then I would use it over and over and over, until I learned Render Clouds... then Render Fibers and all the way to these complicated effects we have now a days.... |

Spydra is a preistess of the spider goddess Spydraxis and has been gifted with powerfuel armor and given the honor of being Spydraxis' earthly Scion
Powers and abilities:
360 degree vision
Suit is constructed of Magical materials and each day will repair any damage.
Climbing: Spydra's talons allow her to scale even sheer surfaces so long as her claws can penetrate the material to get a grip.
Webs: Spydra uses the following Spell effects with unlimited use:
Spider Silk: Allows Spydra to create web lines which are used for swinging or in any way one would use rope.
Cocoon: Allows Spydra to completely envelope a single target in webbing from head to foot. Victims fall into an induced coma that lasts for up to 24 hours during which time they are completely unable to defend themselves.
Spider's Den: This ability allows Spydra to fill a 400 sq. foot area with webbing. The webs are very sticky and greatly impede movement, there is a chance of being hopelessly stuck if one moves more than 5 feet through this labyrinth. While in the den Spydra can sense the movements of anyone touching the webbing and instantly knows the following facts: Subjects Height, Weight, Strength, and Agility. Due to her other powers Spydra can move through the web at maximum speed without disturbing the wens themselves. Any victim caught in the webbing cannot resist her coccoon power and is instantly covered from head to toe in webbing at Spydra's discretion.
Premonition: Allows Spydra to not only detect an impending attack but also gives her instinctive knowledge of the direction and best possible defense.
Strength of the Titans: This spell endows the wearer of the suit with the ability to lift ungodly amounts of weight. It also makes the wearer's hands into Non-Conventional Damage weapons. This means the wearer can damage Mechs and Heavily armored vehicles.
Cats foot: Grants the power to always land on one's feet.
Unbound: Allows Spydra to move without being restrained by anything that would hinder movement, additionally she cannot be bound by mortal means.
Feather foot: Spydra never sets off pressure sensitive devices.
Night Vision: Spydra can in the dark as well as if it were broad daylight even if no light is available.
Spit Acid: 60 feet acid is highly corrosive and lethal to organic beings.
Spider-bite: Using her mandibles Spydra can fire a paralytic beam to a rage of 30 yards. Victims of her venomous beams are unable to move for up to 15 minutes during which time they are completely at her mercy...or lack there of. Creatures immune to poison are unaffected however creatures immune to magic are affected normally. This power will work on creatures with uo to Category 2 Invulnerability.
Elven Grace: This magic grants Spydra phenomenal agility and poise, it also improves her reflexes considerably.
Overwhelming Phobia: Once per day Spydra can cause overwhelming fear in a single mortal person. Immortal creatures are immune to this effect such as Luminesti Elves. It is not possible to resist this effect unless one has magical immunities or is immune to fear attacks. Even Psionics are no match for this power.

The Sathari cruiser that was waiting here when we arrived here in the Namae system hails us and I'm a little uneasy considering the fact that I'm not speaking to my best friend whose second in command of the empire. On screen is a uniformed captain who looks a little too Nazi for my tastes but is otherwise completely cordial.
"Greetings Danar, I am Captain T'briel of the cruiser Exeter. I have on board an envoy assigned for personal protection assigned to you by the emperor himself. He'll have more details and his orders with him upon his arrival."
"I'm sorry did you say Danar?"
"Yes , Danar is the name for all former high ranked officials after they leave office."
"You guys don't play around with the formalities do you? I was told to expect the arival of some personal security but I have a detail assigned to my ship already."
"Yes sir, I'm aware of that but this officer has been hand-picked by the emperor as I stated previously he'll have more information with him. We'll send his shuttle over when you're ready."
"Very well, send him over. Obsidian out."
In moments a tiny little shuttlepod arrives in our shuttle bay and I am there to greet it with my new personal security detail and as always Aini eager to prove herself. I have briefed them that if anything seems amiss to shoot to kill and ask questions later. Not everyone in the Sathari empire was happy when Analaeus took over or with my appointment as High Justiciar. More than a few have tried to kill me in the last few years but you have to get up pretty early in the morning to assassinate an assassin. Still that never stopped the few ca[able of it from trying. In the meantime I have already contacted Ananlaeus who was at the moment in acouncil with the regional governors and was not going to be able to confirm this guy's identity, I send a message to Harley as well just to be safe and hope maybe he's in the loop.
As the rear hatch opens I am stunned to see a Lunari, black furred and clad in the Nazi-ish uniform the Sathari are known for. I have to remember to have a talk with Harley about those uniforms. The lunari is a male about 6 feet tall with some kind of optical scanner on his head adn wearing a half cape which I personally think looks to be a bit too much but is actually standadr issue for the Sathari Psi-Mage division. Suddenly it dawns on me why this guy was assigned to me and the second my men see the cape the draw their weapons.
"This guy doesn't flinch he instead salutes and very carefully hands me his orders. I read them over carefuly and what it boils down to is that because of the nature of my personal life the emperor has deemed it necessary for me to be assigned additional security of an arcane nature. Apparently guns can only do so much but I can understand where he's coming from.
"What's your name soldier?"
"Sub-commander Shadawar reporting as ordered Danar and may I add it is an honor to be assigned as your personal guard."
"Oh? Why is that sub-commander?"
"To be honest sir, your exploits are well known to all of us in the Sathari empire and anyone working dignitarty security would give his right arm to be assigned to anyone who sees the kind of action you do."
"Too many old farts puttering around at social functions and rubbing elbows with snobby aristocrats?"
"Something like that sir."
at that moment I get the word from Harley that I should expect a large black German Sheppard-looking mofo to arrive at any time. Okay this guys is on the up and up. His qualifications are impressive, he knows rank 10 spells, tier 56 psionics too. Yeah this guy is exactly what I expect Analaeus would assign me. I need a new first officer and he's got the credentials and then some.
"Shadawar is it?"
"Yes sir."
"How would you like to be my first officer?"
"I don't see how that would be possible sir, I'm assigned to be your personal security."
"Actually , your orders say right here "...or in whatever capacity you deem necessary." Leaving you free for such duties if I see fit. So what do you say?"
"It would be my honor sir. Okay I'll brief you in full on your specific duties later, just for now know you're second in command."
The shuttle returns to the Sathari cruiser and make our way to the ghost planet...at this point we're about as ready as we're ever gonna be. |

Easily explained, folks...note the sign on the wall. Clearly the Tart was "occupied" whilst Winterhawk announced the dancer. And now, WH had to go...
As for his outfit being retro...well, Tart's new avatar suit was being cleaned, but accidentally got delivered to Daffy Duck when it was done. (watch more cartoons , folks, it's a real episode reference)
And a missed credit from part 1...
The McDeath Cheap Vodka is CLEARLY a rip off of the fabulous MsV's work. So props to her for that idea. PS, that's Jr's liver being blown out his back.
