My first submission here...with the teamup coming up and others posting here as well promoting a peace i thought i would join in. anyway this is marrow after getting the crap beat out of her by wolverine. i opted for angelina jolie as marrow, don't know why just did. kept the outfit she had on, i think it works, it would work in the movies. i added some bruises, cuts, and various other lacerations and injuries. Primarily used the burn tool and set it to different ranges to achieve the look. the exposed bone was burned to give it that fresh out of the body look and then i just carefully transformed and masked them in. that's pretty much it. apologies on the background, i created it and masked around ms. jolie, but it never really looked good because of the limitations. thanks goes out to C2F artist Zac for the pointers and advice. | Well here's my March Movie Challenge. Don't know how popular these characters are with everyone, but I really wanted to go with someone who was not on the list of movies being planned. I used a combination of Micheal Jai White and Wesley Snipes for the image of Cloak and the Dagger pic was just a model I had in my archives. I tried to find a good pic of someone in a hood but wound up making it myself. I'm most proud of the movie title logo [took a coupla hours to get it the way I wanted it].Decided not to go with all the movie credits [hope it doesn't count against me]. Who knows maybe this one will make it to the big screen one day...if not at least ya got this to dream on. |

You look over at your monitor, and smoke is billowing from its innards. You frantically do a search for that last manip you were working on, and the file is gone. Has that ever happened to you? ? I have a huge amount of photomanips to do! I know that and I don?t intend to ignore them.
But, what hell, this is so funny that I couldn?t resist.
I basically used Liquify to change the proportions of this brave (because I wouldn?t show my belly to a camera like that) comic fan.
Then, I remade his hair with brush tool (that was the easy part) and built a proper musculature to the green goliath (that was more difficult) using different sizes of brushes and Overlay effect.
This has no intention to be a masterpiece so I decided to keep few things like: the wedding ring, the Bermuda shorts and the background.

Magneto unleashes his fury!
This was a very simple manip to do. In searching through Google, I found this base pic of a man screaming, holding his hands up at the camera. The only addition I made was the helmet, because the suit the guy is wearing, is very movie-like. i added the background, and a little effect, and there ya go. More to come...

| Okay, so I've been working on this for a couple of days, and i don't feel like working on it anymore. Thanks to Matrixblur for giving me the link to his metal textures, unfortunately, i got the message right after completing the manip. For the metal I actually frankensteined a bunch of pics of armor i found on the web, and used the plastic wrap and chrome filters with adjustments to the brightness/contrast. I'm proud of this one, even though it needs work. Especially the boots, but hey, it's my first try at boots. Let me know what you think. |
