| Lady Death by JrMcDeath, MatrixBlur, and Winterhawk (clean version) Winterhawk Other Comics 2006/10/30 19:33 6331 11
For Lady Death Week! This image started around 2 years or so ago. Jr was rather new to the site and had just finished a picture and was trying to think of something new to do and asked for a request (this was before we knew he was lazy). I asked him for Lady death. A couple weeks went by and Jr showed me the base image and he had done some plans for the image, sketching it out. When he wanted to know who should be giving it to Lady Death. Evil ernie's name came up. A couple more weeks went by and Jr showed me the progress. During this time Jr had gotten fellow trouble maker and 3d guru Matrix Blur to render a skeleton and place it over the body of the male in the base image. Another couple weeks went by and Jr. said he was bored with the image and wasn't going to do anymore. So I asked him to send it over my way. At this point the image had Jr's sketches the skeleton frame work for ernie as well as ernies arms, hands and jacket arms done as well as a number of paths and channels to use for selection. Jr sent the file over to me were I started working on it. I painted the hair and then saved the file. And I haven't worked on it again until this week. I noticed that it was Lady Death week so I thought "Hey I have that 1/5 finished lady death image that Jr and Matrix started, I should finish that one." And so I did. And here it is. It isn't quite as fancy as Jr's original plan but I don't paint no stinkin zippers and it actually got finished After finishing the adult version a couple days a go, I decided to do a non-adult version of the image to post in the regular gallery for everyone to enjoy. |

| JrMcDeath By Winterhawk Winterhawk Original Characters 2004/10/18 8:58 3220 9
I was searching for a base model for a different project when I came across this guy, Instantly I thought of JrMcGouda's avatar. This is an original character that Jr. designed himself named Micros McDonald aka Steve. (I think I heard him say it was a self portrait, but I might be wrong) |

| HM/C2F Crossover: A Knight over Gotham by Winterhawk and GraphicMouse Winterhawk DC Comics 2005/3/2 6:13 4631 24
I used Poser 4 and photoshop 7. I did Batman and Robin, a section of rope, Batman's shadow and some minor dodge and burning to the rest of the pictures for lighting. My partner blew me away and finished the rest and did such a great job on it. This version is only 50% of the actual size but you can find a full sized version at http://members.shaw.ca/winterhawk3/X-OVER-fin-full.jpg Enjoy
Graphicmouse Art notes: Winterhawk showed me a line drawing that he wanted to try and I said let's go for it. Everything is from scratch using the drawing as a reference. Mainly i sketched the drawing then scan it and colored it in Photoshop. Somethings about the original didn't hit me as being right so i changed the look of the Joker and adjusted the paddle to equal where the steel blade ball was going, other wise I tried to make it as close as possible to the original. |
