Well, here's another entry into DC Pantheon, Cassandra Sandsmark aka Wonder Girl. Model = Shay Laren. I tried going with the SF background just to stay with current continuity. Again, comments are welcome.

| Wonder girl & Raven by Dark Knight Dark_Knight_DK 2005/1/14 23:14 7600 23
I saw this pic and in that moment I knew who the characters were going to be.
This pic has a LOT of layers (first time I used 400 megas for this kind of project), I really was impressed with the results in wonder girls jeans and her boots, the texture looks real good.
I did wonder girl's logo with a metalic effect, I tried using the metalic tutorial, but it didn't work for me, so I played with the dodge & burn and the smudge tool. Raven was easy compare to wonder girl except for the cape, the original pic had a fur coat around wonder girl's right arm, so I have to hide it, and the cape was the "easy" thing to do.
I'm not going to tell more details because it would be too long, so enjoy!

I used Megan Fox to make a Wonder Girl ready for a night out. I just changed the dress color and added stars to her hip. I also colored the eyes and lips to make them stand out more. |

| Wonder Girl - New Armor masterofdisaster127 2007/11/20 7:37 4466 8
In Issue #2 of Wonder Girl (December 07), Wonder Girl's uniform gets destroyed so Hercules gives her a new Amazonian styled armor costume. I just couldn't resist. Most of the costume is armored (from what I could tell) with the exception of the black portion of the skirt (appears to be cloth or leather). I used Gemma Atkinson as the model. Hope you all enjoy! |

It's been over a year since I last worked on, let alone posted a manipulation. Slowly getting back into the swing of things but still need to get the rust out of the hinges. To kick off my return to the art, I decided to do a Wonder Girl (Cassie) in the old style uniform. I chose Amy McCarthy as the model. Still a few things that I'm not 100% happy with (Like the draping of the cloth and creasing) but I think it's a start.
Any technique tips would be appreciated.
**UPDATE** I took some of the suggestions and added a touch of black to the pants to show a little more definition. Still not perfect, but with the pants and shirt I was going for a very shiny (almost lycra) type look. I also added some wristlets. |

Ok so here is another one. I know the stitching on the side is messed up. But for some reason that?s where my mind kept putting and drawing it in, so at one point it was left there. Other than that I don?t think this came out too bad here. Originally this had a background more colored to the model, but I felt it took too much away from the character itself so I made it more dull shades that were in her coloring. This time I did go with a different method for skin clean up, and tried JR?s method, takes me a bit longer, but I do see where it can be worth it though. I had this sitting here for quite a few months and figured its time to get it out of my folders waiting to work on. Thanks for all those who look or comment, its always a geat help and so appreciated.
The model for this one is Bret Rossi, WonderGirl belongs to DC Comics, and the artwork is mine. |

The latest incarnation of Wonder Girl from Young Justice and the Teen Titans. Does anyone know how she went from the goggle waering, slightly geeky girl to the current blonde bombshell? I'm out of the loop on her recent history. At any rate, enjoy. |

The models are Veronica Ricci (WW) and Carli Banks (WG at least her face).
I have to thank Android becuase he helped me with the metal effects in wonder woman's chest and he share a little of his magic with me.
PS: I deleted the previous image because I updated the background, feel free to comment again...thanks Biohaz_Daddy, I hope you like this one better.

My extremely late entry to the May Challenge, Bad Superhero Day Jobs. (Well, in this case, Night Job.) After a PC Kablooey, and The Adventures Of Sinbad getting a new PC set up, and then refilled with backed-up data, I finally got to finish this. Kinda sucks I missed the Challenge, but the dollar bill idea happened at the very end, which is good. I especially like the US/Dollar connections, she's wearing red, white and blue, the green of the dollar bills is reflected in the floor, and if you squint, the dollar bills are a stream... (BTW, if Wonder Woman is going to be bad, she's going to be Wonder Bad. So she's going to strip at an Evil Villians strip joint. Which explains the counterfeit bills...) (BTW2, The earring is an actual earring on the Net, you could buy it if you found it.) (BTW3, the model is Laura Sanchez.) Hope you all like it. |

This manip was taken by the authors of The Incredible Internet Guide to Comic Books and Superheroes and used to head up their chapter on photomanipulations (without my consent). Of course, I took the original pic from Playboy without their consent, so who am I to complain? The book is now outdated, but you can still find it on the shelves of your public library. |

Started out with seeing the model (Nikki Ziering)...i liked her look and smile (although i didn't use a smile pic). The original pic was fairly clean....so minor touch up there. The hard part was she had clothing all around her neck and upper chest area. I had to clone and heal it out and recreate things like the collar bones, neck muscles, and various skin textures (anything below the chin and above the breastplate was recreated for the most part). I also made the skin a little more milky and warmed it using the dodge tool. The underlaying costume was originally a grey paint job. Shaded and lighted and used the color balance to get my colors. a little noise to create the textures...used a 1 pixel dodge and burn brush to create the seamwork. The breastplate and waistplate were created using a grey layer. I then highlighted and shaded them and used the color balance to create the gold color. I decided to go with a layered breastplate as opposed to creating on giant piece and curving it. The bracelets were created using the same techniques. I added some little sparkles to the metal with a doged outer glow. I added the larger face in the background and highly contrasted the image for a different look, it jsut needed something. Once finished I ran the entire image through levels, colors, and variations to get the finished product. Thanks to C2F artist Zac for his help....dan

My beautiful friend Angel as Wonder Woman. I spent quite a bit of time on this and finally got it to the point where I could say it was done. Yes, I know, her hair isn't black.. but who cares? She's hot.
