Here is another Drew Gardner character "Dominique". She exists in the same world as the Ms. Adventure manip I did some time back. Originally I had Dominique side by side with Ms. Adventure but the he requested a solo pose so here it is.
I added the signature just to liven it up a bit. As for the model, I don't know I think she was Polish or German I think. I can check if you raelly want to know.

I did this piece for a contest using only one shape manipulated in photoshop many many times over and over again. The rules of the contest was to only use the one shape to create a work of art. You can change the color, size, and even warp the shape as long as it was evident that it was used (see the insert). I got second place.
(Should I be submitting all my art in at once? Or should I wait like a day or so to submit new ones?)  |

Alright, in his quest for peace & order, my character renounced the Republic & the Empire. Leaving a sea of blood & bodies in his wake, the Republic & Empire joined forces together to bring this rogue Jedi down. Master Skywalker sends the 100 few Jedi & Padawans he has to bring down the Jedi Knight Zion. Here, Zion fights the woman he loved in the Jedi Academy. She knows she has no chance against Zion, but she has her orders. She also knows that if she fails, an army of Stormtroopers will swarm on him like cancer.
[By the way, I know I messed up on her face with the blue pencil... sorry about that.] |

I know I got a little lazy and didn't change the background... but my main focus and inspiration was from the three girls on the "North Shore" poster. I just had fun making them into my 3 favorite DC babes.
Supergirl and Wonder Woman costumes done from scratch. The BatGirl costume was from Birds of Prey and the mask from Batman & Robin.
This is the second attempt at it. The first one I posted on C2F, but decided to change up the metalic look on Wonder Woman.

Well boys and girls, another year draws to a close and I want to personally thank all of you for your relentless support and encouragement.
Now that the sappy stuff is out of the way, I was recently inspired by an artist I found over at renderosity.com named Fredy Wenzel (screen-name is simply "Fredy"). If you get a chance, check him out. This is my first attempt at emulating his style. (We learn by imitating)

| This was a gift to a friend at work. she wanted a love child of gambit and Rogue. So I drew this. instead of trying to figure out how they would have the child I by passed that saying Sinister took their DNA and put it together and created her that way :) Color version will be better |

Winterhawk signed up for C2F's XMas theme day, where artists are randomly selected to do request pics for another artist. Traditionally, these are manips of the artist making the request, but Hawk requested a pic of one of his favourite characters instead. (Apparently being manipped into Wonder Woman wasn't good enough for him.) I got picked as Hawk's Secret Santa, and this is my gift for him. Since Hawk is still primarily an HMorpher, I thought it was appropriate to post it here too so that everyone could go and lavish me with praise.
In case anyone wants a story behind this pic, my theory is that Blink's latest reality-saving mission is to deliver that Cabbage Patch Winterhawk doll under some poor sap's Christmas tree.

In a twisted tale of a boy and his bear, Christopher Robbins loses his other friends to some bullies who tore them all apart in front of him.
His best friend Winnie the Pooh was the only one to survive the brutal beatings. Chris desides to take revenge on these bullies by raising Pooh to be a vicious killing machine. He now goes by the name PooP.

| This is Joe Linsner's Dawn. I did this for my mother for Christmas. I drew it originally with a blue sharpie and it looked horrible, even after I scanned it with all kinds of pencil outlines and mistakes, but thank god for Photoshop.... I'm really proud of this and I hope mom will like it. |

When perusing Al Rio's site, I stumbled across this inked drawing. He had also colored it, and while my version is NO WHERE NEAR as good as his, I think I'm getting the hang of it. (Yes, I'm bored at work. Can you tell?)
There's another Supergirl Christmas that I want to try, as well as a Mary Jane one. Those'll be up later. This one I'll finish the backgrounds at a later date. |
