Patsy Walker Hellstrom originally appeared in comics in the 1950's as a teen model whose stories were reminiscent of the Archie comics. At one time she was the most popular character in Atlas comics line. Of all the characters in the Marvel Universe she has truly evolved from decades of being a light-hearted girl comic into a superheroine to being married to the Heir of Hell's throne to dying and being resurrected. I wonder what is next for the Hellcat.

Here I was going for a sort of recreation of the 2 page spread from the opening of issue #1
It's not exact, since I don't have the guys on the flying bikes chasing him, but I got it as close as I could with the resources available to me.

Moondragon is one of the most powerful telepaths in the Marvel Universe. She is often portrayed as always willing to use he powers to their fullest, even enslaving an entire alien planet as well as Thor and the Avengers at the same time! She may even be more powerful than Professor Xavier.

I know he's an X-Man and all, but my favorite portrayal of Dr.Henry Phillip McCoy is when he was an Avenger. I was glad to see him in the pages of Secret Avengers.

Things I learned when making this: 1. Mockingbird started as a Ka-Zar supporting character. 2. I should plan out my manips more when I'm doing them. Again, try to add some wrinkles to her costume.

The scarlet Witch is my absolute favorite female Avenger, in recent times it seems like Marvel has run out of ideas on how to depict her. They have her going insane, killing her friends, or slipping into a coma.
In my opinion if Marvel doesn't know what to do with her, leave her alone don't make a villain out of such a beautiful character.

I had posted this pic sometime last year, but for some reason it no longer resides in my HM archives. Therefore I am reposting it now, for two reasons:
1) It is going in April's forthcoming pinup book (with a foreword by MissVee). Each pinup has a brief description. They also include excerpted comments from HM and dA, and I wanted to make sure it was cool with you guys to do so. Each pinup has only about 3-5 comments, all anonymous, and I can't remember who said what anyway. Some of your comments were just too delicious to pass up, so I included them with their respective pinups.
2) Also Mr. Hazard thought I should bring this to your attention, for posterity if nothing else. So, to placate the hypertensive Hazard, and maybe get a few comments with the pinup above (the ones I have now are from dA only), hence the repost (riposte?)
Anyway, if any of you mods knows what happened to the original file, please contact me. Thanks all.

Battle Angel Alita, known in Japan as Gunnm (Ganmu, a portmanteau of "Gun" and "Dream")
The series is set in the future and focuses on Alita, a cyborg who has lost all memories and is found in a garbage heap by a cybernetics doctor who rebuilds and takes care of her. She discovers that there is one thing she remembers, the legendary cyborg martial art Panzer Kunst, which leads to her becoming a Hunter Warrior or bounty hunter. The story traces Alita's attempts to rediscover her past and the characters whose lives she impacts on her journey. The manga series is continued in Battle Angel Alita: Last Order.
