For Mr. Beauregard life was all roses. The land/cattle/oil baron had built a nice little empire in Texas. And with local sheriffs and marshals in his pocket he could greedily charge sky high rents and gouge customers at his company stores with nobody to oppose him.
But then there came a thorn in his side. A thorn wearing a mask known as Wylde Starr. Called a ?heroine? by the rabble this rebel dared to interfere with his business. Stealing pay roles and giving it back to the very people he cheated and even sabotaging stagecoaches and trains.
Such outrages can never be tolerated!
And what self respecting father would allow his daughter to run around in such scandalous attire? |

So this is the one that it wont make it to the contest but i really like it for all those details... i used Hanyma Vengeance for the enemy created by aerysoul these guys are great and their products totally rock!!! I ve been reading Superman comics since i was 6 years old...
A couple of years ago i read a Superman story different than any other....the title was "Secret Identity" and its the best story i've ever read in my life...
This is dedicated to Kurt Busiek (writer) and Stuart Immonen (artist, colorist)...

I don't get a whole lot of comments on my work actually posted here on Heromorph, but I DO receive a lot of them left on my website or Emailed to me at banzaigirlmc@aol.com. (I love getting comments, so post 'em!! Please!)
One thing that seems to get a lot of attention is my drawing popular established comics characters. So my subject this time is RED SONJA.
It always bothers me when artists do a drawing where the heroine is just sort of standing around posing prettily, or maybe holding a weapon and looking like she's going "Grrrrr." Comics are about storytelling, so I try to tell a story of some sort with every drawing I do.
For this illustration, I decided to depict Res Sonja in the midst of battle, leading a hoard of female warriors, and attacked by a creature so vile his skin had been ripped from his body, revealing the muscles beneath! I wanted it full of energy, action, power -- and even at the monster's seeming moment of triumph, to give Red Sonja a sense of movement and beauty and grace -- without ever losing the knowledge that she is a warrior.

I've been digging the Dark Avengers storyline and the amazing art by Mike Deodato - since I've made a Poser file for the Classic 70's Ms Marvel - I figured I'd update the file for the Karla Sofen/Moonstone version. I removed the open belly transparency and darkened up the "red" portions of the costume to more of a crimson.
I went for a shorter hairstyle for two reasons
- one: it kind of reminded me of a Dorthy Hammil bob from the 70's
- two: it shows movement a lot easier for future use
