| The Red Owl and the Red Howlet

Back in the days of World War II, Albanian soldier Kreshnik Veton chose to turn against the Axis forces that had occupied his homeland. Donning a garish red costume and a busted old Fokker D.VIII, he called himself the Red Owl, and through some combination of luck and ingenuity, managed to make trouble for the Nazis (it should be noted that historically, Albania was the only country occupied by the Nazis that managed to kick them out without help from the Soviets.)
Years later, "Nick" Veton is the owner of a small gym in in Little Yugo, a slum in Boston inhabited by former residents of the Balkan countries, and finds his new home being invaded, this time by a pair of gangs at war with each other. Tired of watching all the punks walking around in front of his gym, Nick considers putting on the old costume, but he is beaten to the punch by his granddaughter Donjeta who, having found out about his past, has decided to try and follow in his footsteps, calling herself the Red Howlet. To say that Nick is displeased by this turn of events is probably an understatement...
(Artist's notes: This began as my attempt to write a story about obscure Golden Age superheroes, but since Alex Ross and Jim Krueger have cornered the market on that with Project Superpowers, I decided it would be easier to just create some new ones from scratch. I would also say that any resemblance between Howlet's costume and that of the Golden Age Nite-Owl in the "Watchmen" movie is purely coincidental; I was just trying to give her a classic Golden Age mysteryman-type look...) |

Making some roof top bits and bobs. The vent building (one with pipes) will be a lot bigger, the bottom section will be about 12 foot high.
These are intended for those night time scenes, for when you want to perch your hero on a roof top overlooking a cityscape. |

It?s Fight Night at the Fortress! Tonight's Special: Super-Sibling Sidekick Showdown
We join our main event: The Elimination Chamber* already in progress.
(Fight Commentary by Ted (Theodore) Logan (T) and Bill S. Preston, Esq. (B))
B-"As you can see, the first eliminations have been made, Ted."
T-"Yes, Bill dude, and it's no surprise to any of us that Wendy and Marvin were the first to go."
B-"Agreed, my good man. No one figured them to last as long as they did, though, considering they have no powers what-so-ever."
T-"Truly, truly true, Bill. But you have to admit, when Marvin whipped out his patented super crackling vocal attack...there seemed a bit of hope for the dedicated duo."
B-"Absolutely, and one can only speculate on how different this contest could have been if their pets had been allowed to participate. I hear that Wonder Dog is one fantastic fighter. And Blip kicks some serious Monkey Butt."
T-"Actually Bill, you're thinking of Dynomutt the Dog-Wonder. Wonder-Dog is pretty much useless. And Gleek could take Blip in a heartbeat. But let's get back to the action."
T-"It looks like the Exxorian Twins are preparing their attacks."
B-"Yes, indeedy-do, Ted-aroonie. Zan appears to be in position for his ice-cubes from Hell onslaught, while Jana..."
T-"You guessed it, Billy-boy, That's her Animal Kung Fu pose, she's in full attack mode.
You know, Bill, I know Kung Fu?Just ask Fishburne.?
B-"But wait, what's that? Could it be? Are Jan and Jace setting their unsuspecting opponents up for the secret invisibility strike?"
T-"But I thought invisibility was ruled illegal in the Fortress, Bill."
B-"Awesome deduction as always, Ted, my man. But you forget our special Guest Referee is none other than Space Ghost himself. Looks like we're in for quite a rumble, dudes and dudettes. Don't touch that dial, we'll return for more high impact action after these important messages."
"Friends, do you suffer from embarrassing odors you can't seem to get rid of?... (trailing off)
[Sorry for that, folks. It seems I got caught up in the hype of Wrestlemania]

Jan and Jana are variations on the Queen of Hearts character morphs by Winterhawk (available in HMDC)
Wonder Babe is Shi-Na, you just can?t see the tats. Also a HMDC product.

Wonder Lasso is from animotions c/o Hasdrubal.
Wonder Dog is Daz?s Millennium Dog with Boxer Morph and my own WD mat.
Krypto Split when he heard Wonder Dog was coming. They don?t like each other.
No monkeys were represented in this because I couldn't find morphable Monkey characters to make into Gleek and Blip.
No animals were hurt in the making of this fight scene.
?No animals were?? is a trademark of MissVee. Please don?t sue me either.
PS...this would look a LOT more like the fortress if the Ice Shader preset I had didn't crash my system, so yeah, it's more like Superman's "Castle of Solitude."
PSS?this isn?t funny, I know that.
However, it comes close if you actually read Ted?s voice as Keanu.

| Here is part 7. It looks like Wonder Woman won the fight, but what's that tentacles behind her. The fight goes on. I was trying to darken the skin because the light source is coming from the back. It just ended up with them looking like they have a tan. I was also trying to add smoke in the front but it was messing up the perspective. I HOPE THIS IS NOT SHOWING TO MUCH SKIN AND SO NEEDS TO BE IN THE ADULT SECTION. IF IT IS, LET ME KNOW. |

I have been wanting to do Lady HM for a while here and I finally got around to doing one here. If it weren't for this site I would have never even started to manip stuff. So thanks Heromorph! As well to everyone on the site here.
The model here is Shay Laruen, HM Logo is just a base threw together. Carpet is PS CS3, as well as the floor a texture brought in pieced together here. Hope everyone likes. Thanks |

Okay, I did a Wonder Woman pic. WANA MAKE SOMETHIN' OF IT!
Sometimes you need a little inspiration to give you a kick in the pants. So, I was watching the animated Wonder Woman dvd yesterday and decided to rework my Wonder Woman character.
Big ups go out to KBK for the Wonder Woman tiara and breast plate (also, for the Jennely textures).
P.S. Do any of you realize how hard it is to find a pictue of an ancient Greek city that's NOT in ruins? |
