This one I'm a wee bit iffy about, namely with the lighting, but I like how it turned out. And I tried to make it bigger than the BC/Spidey one.
I started out with an image of the lovely Ms. Avril Lavigne holding microphone and wearing a tiara. After editing them out, I stuck a piece of crystal that I found on a Google search into her hand and changed it purple. I also incorporated some Blink costume elements into the pic, such as the skirt thing and the collar to give it a "real world" feel.
Then I found the pic of the alley on google and stuck her on there, did the power effects with some brush work and some dodging and burning and...viola...Blink, AKA Clarice Ferguson. |

| Not too long ago, it was said that I needed to do a manip that had an actual background with it, so I decided if I am going to do one with a background, why not something I know. Here is supergirl in Metropolis, the planet is in the background and uhh read the sign at the middle bottom. I hope everyone likes this, less Wallpaper looking in my opinion. Maybe this should be "Star Woman" since stargirl was a teenager... So.. this is my second... i think this turned out slightly better then the first... still unhappy with the realism of the drawings (staff, mask and gloves) but... with time i s'pose.
I hope the fairchild i'm working on now turns out alot better. Can't be any worse right?
Question though.. i've heard alot about this program called z-brush... think it's worth putting in the effort to learn? comming from someone who's never took an art class, and sucks at 3d....
