I don't know if these are technically photomanips, howver they are manipping photos onto existing images so it's close enough. These are the three manipped Greg Horn images that formed the backdrop to my FXM/Emma Frost Piece. I manipped Jaime Presley's face onto each of the images and then unified the cholor schemes into a pale faux sepia tone. Just thought you might like to see the details. |

| Wanted: Litigator. Apply Fisk Industries LocalHero Marvel Comics 2004/5/6 10:35 4646 7
Ok, I wanted to do a follow up to my Elektra/Loss Adjuster pic for a while now, and when I found this pic of Cindy Crawford I immediately thought it would make a great base for She-Hulk, Jennifer Walters.
The source image was a bit messy so I had to do some tidying before I began. The first thing I did was to broaden the shoulders and deepen the chest using the free deform tool. This was then blended back into the original image. I then created a mask of 'shulkie' so I could keep things neat later. The background is created from scratch over the original murky black curtain. I used some mauve gradient fills to create a floor/wall join and to provide some lighting. I used the same effect to create the window behind 'shulkie' making a faux 3d effect to frame the image of new york street signs I found on google. The spidey is taken from a pic of a statue of him peeking in another window. I shaded him to make him darker and as if lit from the room. Over spidey and the street seen I created a glass pane using the noise filter then motion and gausian blur to give it some interest, and a white/black gradient to make it look shiny. The brief case was another google find which to which I added Walters stenciling and a shadow and floor reflection to blend it with the image.
All pretty simple stuff, but I just wanted to make sure I kept my basic skills up during a dry creative spell |

Well here it is! I've been working on this on and off for a while now and its finaly finished. Its the first time I've maniped the Scarlet Witch and I have to say I'm pritty pleased how its turned out. I have tryed out some new techniques for me on this one like the texture effect on her clothes and the coller. Any way I'd be greatful for your thoughts as always.

Christina Aguilera as Mockingbird. Not the best casting choice, perhaps, but I have a reason: this is actually a re-make of my "the Lynx -original character" manip. When I finished it, I thought: hey, this should be easy to make into mockingbird. Well, it wasn't. But here it is. Hope u like it! |

i got a little carried away with this one. it started off as a rogue pic but i had trouble finding a background so instead, i kept adding other members. i still couldn't think of a good background so you'll have to forgive the cop-out. |

| Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman Kallisti DC Comics 2004/5/1 5:52 5593 8
My vote for the actress to play WW in the movies. Also, my first attempt at a WW manip. Harder than I expected it to be. The base pic had this nifty reflection in it, so i left it there in an effort to show a bit of what the original looked like. Notice i have changed the color of the apple she is eating from red to gold. (Sorry i posted 3 pics in a row, but the site has been down for a while and i've been itching to post these three. Also, due to certain factors, my internet connection could be down for a while next week, so i figured i'd get them all in so maybe i can get some feedback before then!) Enjoy... |

| SHREDDER JustinBLong2003 Other Comics 2004/4/16 23:25 4026 4
This piece took some time. What I first did was scan in a picture of a man. Then darken his skin so it looks like the black under clothing of Shredder. Then I used a image from the disk Visual Reference for comic artist volume 1 of a chrome staute( I also used this on the Martian Queen). By morphing the chrome to fit my ideas. Then I scan in a comic cover of the Ninja Turtles and darken it so that shredder would stand out. Then I illustrated 2 tear. Then I did some glares. Also I did glowing eyes. Enjoy |

| wonder-chyna by batmic BatMic DC Comics 2004/4/13 14:33 9379 11
okay i think this will be the last chyna/wonder woman pic, i've pretty much done her to death. i found this image of chyna in a playboy shoot using one of winter's links (very usefull by the way) and it was a huge picture. very very clean to start off with so all i had to do was erase a large gold necklace, rotate the image, cos she was lying down, and add all the bits and pieces needed. i tried to save as much bandwith as i could, but it still seems big. hope you enjoy it! |

Brigitte Lahaie is an obscure European porn star from the 70s, and she has The Look. Well worth Manipping.
By the time I got around to doing the cape for this one, I was so enamored with her body and costume that I just couldn't cover it up. (That, and I wasn't ready to spend hours on a cape...)

The next one in my Batman Villain poem series. This is one of the most underused batman villains they have. Completely insane and very dangerous. I spent a lot of time on this one. Little touches here and there. If you are of age, check out the Directors Cut version of this one. my wife tells me that it is a little bit disturbing. |
