~Detective Comics #27 (May 1939) featured the first appearance of Batman (as "The Bat-Man"). That superhero would eventually become the star of the title, the cover logo of which is often written as "Detective Comics featuring Batman". Because of its significance, issue #27 is widely considered one of the most valuable comic books in existence, with one copy selling for $1,075,000 in a February 2010 auction.
Issue #38 (April 1940) introduced Batman's sidekick Robin (billed as "The Sensational Character Find of 1940" on the cover). Robin's appearance and the subsequent increase in sales of the book soon led to the trend of superheroes and young sidekicks that characterize the era fans and historians call the Golden Age of Comic Books.~ |

~Superman/Batman was a monthly comic book series published by DC Comics that features the publisher's two most popular characters: Batman and Superman. Superman/Batman premiered in August 2003 and was an update of the previous series, World's Finest Comics, in which Superman and Batman regularly joined forces.
Superman/Batman explored the camaraderie, antagonism, and friendship between its titular characters. Jeph Loeb, the series' first writer, introduced a dual-narrator technique to present the characters' often opposing viewpoints and estimations of each other, which subsequent series writers have maintained. Prior to the 1985 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths, the two iconic characters were depicted as the best of friends. Frank Miller's landmark series The Dark Knight Returns was the first DC story that depicts the heroes at odds with each other, as opposed to pre-Crisis incarnations~

Has been so long I don?t post anything that I almost forgot how do do it. 
Anyhoo... This is a character that I never thought to make since the only info I could find was about an obscure film from 1978 and even so, without any images to use as reference. That is until a couple weeks ago when I found an article about the character WITH pics. 
About the character:
Quote: After being shot by thieves during a supermarket robbery, police officer Danny Ndhlomo was forced to retire due to his injury. Eventually he discovered a strange race of underground creatures who treated his wound, and a bonus transformed him into a superhuman. Deciding to continue to fight for justice and law, he became Mighty Man.

With some help here from seeing Chillyplasma's great Wonder Woman works last week. It got me inspired to finish one of my own. I've had the base image for a while on this one. Just have been busy with work items and all, so I decided to finish her up. So I guess in a sense ChillyP this one's for you here since you reminded me how much I like to do a good photomanip and its a break from work things. :) And who doesn't love a good Wonder Woman anyay? Thanks here in advance to those who look, and comment. They are always greatly appreicated.
The model used for this one was Alice Goodwin, I think she just has the perfect "look" for her. Wonder Woman character of course belongs to DC Comics, and artwork is me. |

Decided to see if I couldn't dust off this old piece of mine and see if I couldn't make it look a little better. Same models (M3's), scene, lights, props, textures, etc.. The only thing I changed in the render file was the direction and color of GL's eyes. However, I did tweak a couple of render settings and play around in Photoshop a bit.
